atronic92
but with range and magic giving hp xp.. how would you figure out a combat lvl? clicky *XP table* clicky To figure out combat level, you just have to figure out hitpoints level too. You start with 1,154 XP in hitpoints, because that is the amount needed for level 10. For every 1 XP point gained in a melee skill or in range while training, add 1/3 of an XP point. Do not count any XP gained from quests! You will know how much XP you will have in each melee, range, or magic skilll by looking at the XP table. For magic, its a little harder to figure the right amount of hitpoints XP, because you only get 1/3 of the magic XP from the damage that you hit as hitpoints XP, you don't get hitpoints XP from the base magic XP that spells have. Of course, you don't need to worry about this if you don't train with combat spells. So always, if you care about calculating the hitpoints XP that you will get, only train magic with spells that don't give hitpoints XP Now you should know how much hitpoints XP your character will have with a given attack, defense, strength, range, and magic level. Just find which level you would be on the XP table. Example: Let's pretend that you want a character with 40 attack, 60 strength, 40 defense, 60 range, 59 magic, and 1 prayer. That's 37,224 attack XP, 273,742 strength XP, 37,224 defense XP, 273,742 range XP, and 247,886 magic XP. But you also plan to do the quests Vampire Slayer and Dragon Slayer. They have total rewards of 4,825 attack XP, 18,650 Strength Xp, and 18,650 Defence xp. Therefore, only 32,399 attack XP, 255,092 strength XP, 18,574 defense XP, and 273,742 range XP actually count for determining hitpoints XP. (let's assume that all magic training was done with spells that don't give you hitpoints XP) Add all that together, and you get 579,807 total "combat XP". Divide that by 3, and you get 193,269 hitpoints XP. Look at the XP table, and you can see that would give you 56 hitpoints. Plugging these numbers into the combat calculator will tell you that your character's combat level would be 56. Conclusion So as you can see, there is a lot of work put into finding out how many hitpoints a character will have, but it actually is possible.
