January 31, 200719 yr Would it be actually even possible for me to smelt 40K steel bars using the Blast Furnance, would it take forever, what will I need etc, is there something important to keep in mind, etc? No, I really don't play anymore.
January 31, 200719 yr Metod 1: . Switch worlds to buy more iron and coal . Bring lots of nature runes to high-alch steel pl8s . Bring some money (50k will do fine) Or metod 2: . Switch worlds to buy more iron and coal . Bring lot's of money (1000k will do) . Smith steel arrow tips or knifes or darts If you want to make bank trips = very bad ideia For more info check TipIt guide.
January 31, 200719 yr It should be around the same time as it would take to smelt and smith the normal way. But if you're talking about smelting to sell, then it's not practical. The blast furnace is very far from a bank. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
February 1, 200719 yr Author Thanks. I'm talking about already having the coal and iron, having mined it yourself earlier. No, I really don't play anymore.
February 1, 200719 yr How about not server hopping? (ruining the game for others) Bring your iron and coal as notes (plus first load of coal), sell notes to the dwarf and buy back as ore. (Keep the shop stocked for low prices) Then make plates and alch them or stackables, amount of money needed depends on if you alch or not.
February 1, 200719 yr Here is a useful tip that I use for the blast furnace: I sell 80 coal at a time to the shop and buy it back again all at once. This saves quite a bit of money in the long run because the ores are cheaper the more they have in stock.Good luck though. 40k is a long way to go! Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
