Nice border, although you'd be better off typing out the combat + total level yourself. Background is dodgy. What program do you use? If GIMP, I could give you a few tips.

OK. First off, theres a nifty feature called the flame. Filters>Renders>Nature>Flame. It has a nice effect on a black background.

Finally, try getting some brushes (as you get more experienced, you'll understand) and grunging.

Sorry about that. Lemme explain how.

 

 

 

Change the gradient (you know how now). On the brushes, tick use colour from gradient. Then brush over the image.

 

 

 

If you don't wanna do that, then the flame should be OK.

You don't need to add new brushes with my tutorial.

I know, but im going to do signatures and stuff(its what i got it for) so i want to use different brushes then what i have..
