Barrows: Karil in the tunnel

Is it a good idea with my stats to not bother killing Karil in the tunnel, but instead run to the chest, open it, spawn him, search it, then tele out? Karil usually costs me 3 doses of p-pot, or 5 sharks and 4 monks or so.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: I am slayer darting, while wearing mystic top and bottom, fremmy mage helm, slayer staff.

Depends on if you wan't to spend p pots and food on him.

Your prayer is higher then mine, your magic is almost the same as mine, and it takes you 3 doses of prayer pot!?!? I can usually get by with 1 dose for karil and 1 dose for ahrim (every now and then it doesn't quite do it and I get hit a few times) Then again, I use monk robes during prayer, and guthans when not using prayer, so my prayer tends to last a little longer. Your using slayer dart, right?

killing them all increases chances of a barrows drop though - so depending on what your after then its a yes or no situation lol just be carfull imo

What boots, gloves, cape, shield and necklace?

 

 

 

Its should be;

 

 

 

*Mystic or mage

 

 

 

*mystic, other mage ones or metal gloves above mith

 

 

 

*God, obby or legends

 

 

 

*God book (zammy and guth), mage arena book.

 

 

 

*Fury (I dont have one), glory or mage

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You get another 15 mage bonus atleast from those items, which will help.

 

 

 

Also are you using the holy wrench, this will save you a p pot or 2.

 

 

 

You could always take a DDS and use it on karil as soon as he appears, then switch back to slayer dart after.
