February 12, 200719 yr If you're attacking monks but you don't want to kill them in one hit, remove your weapon, set your attack style to Block and punch away :) For mems, arm yourself with the Cat Toy and it'll drop all your attack bonuses by at least -100 points. Then go attack monks to your heart's desire. I think you get the Cat Toy after the quest "Rat Catcher". Edit: Actually, this would be the worst way to train def, so just forget about it...
