Hello, I was planning on getting 99 fishing pretty soon, only to be disappointed when my friend told me it would take hundreds of hours fishing Monkfish (He quoted 800 hours) and fly fishing at Shilo Village (He quoted 400 hours). Are these numbers correct? I was told in game that it would take max 200 hours at Shilo Village. Also, which would you suggest for money and exp, Shilo Village, or Monkfish? I can make about a million gp an hour, so if I can sell monkfish for 350 each, (35m) then I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want it taking anymore than 35 hours extra.

With monks it would take roughly 300 hours I think.

If you're looking for money, the only choice is to go with monkfish. Fly Fishing brings in little profit, but still some.

Yeah Monkfishing is the only way to go for money, but I think I could get 99 fishing at Shilo, then make 35M merchanting, all under the time it would take to get to 99 at the Monkfish.
