George_explosion
I'll try to make this as clear as possible. Say i want to reach 60 magic, and i want to raise it useing fire bolt, when i type in my current xp and the lvl i wish to reach it gives me a number, but do i have to hit the max hit of that spell everytime to get that lvl whithin the number of firebolts it says in need. If this is unclear please specify what information the question is lacking. thx
darkblade986
The number it gives is the Casting Xp. For Combat Spells, that number indicates the absolute minimum number of casts you'd have to do. To put it quickly: The value it gives you would be if you failed each cast or hit 0s. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
Captainkidd
Lets say you cast 2 spells, one hits a 0 and the other hits 5, would get the same exp when you casted the spell that hit the 0 as the spell that you hit the 5 with. Note: When the spell hits damage you get hitpoint exp, but not alot.

This guy is right, taking your example of 2 spells, one hitting 0 and one hitting 5 Spell one = base xp + 0 = B+0 spell two = base xp + 2xdamage = B + 2D (this is just for mage) hitpoints being another 1.33xD on top

Note: When the spell hits damage you get hitpoint exp, but not alot. Nope, that's not true. You get more exp for damage done (2xp per point of damage). The Calculator give you the average number of casts you'll need (that would mean that no spell could splash). For example, for Fire Wave (max hit 20) it calculates as if every spell hit a 10. Thus you might need to use some more spells in case you have bad luck of fight monsters with good defense against magic. Hope this helps! :D This signature is intentionally left blank.
