Gin_and_Tonic
Steel plates are the fastest, however, if you buy the bars, you lose greatly. If you plan to mine the ores, then steel plates are fastest.
Tarrance10
I was planning on mining 1,632 coal ore, to raise my mining from 56 to 60, and then mining 816 iron ore to smelt into 816 steel bars. Then smelt the steel bars into 163 steel platebodies. Does anyone have any predictions on what my smithing lvl would be?
Gin_and_Tonic
It would be 52.
Joes_So_Cool
I'd mine all the ore for steel bars you can, then become member and smelt into cannon balls... Good exp and about 800gp per bar. Or if you become member do family quest and gold bars. ONLY do gold bars if you have the smithing gloves. Otherwise waste of time.. If you going to stay ftp and don't care about money or if you do. Continue what'd you've been doing. You diddn't Get like 4k Genies to get to 49. If you did why no screenie :) Good luck, ~Joe. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
