I have created the first successful pure defence staker. Please read my whole thread before you jump to any conclusion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Firstly, here is my build. Took approximately 6 months to finish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 99 defence makes it virtually impossible for the enemy to hit anything, giving me the advantage in every duel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a regular duel inventory for me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I start with full iron on and a steel battle axe, then at the last moment I quickly switch to full rune to throw them off. They never see it coming and fail to hit their final hits... leading to my victory. I also use a Super Defence Potion if drinks are on. And the steel 2h is used when the enemy is low on health. I whip it out and and hit a 4 to finish them off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've had a lot of success dueling, and recently I started taking screenshots. My combat is 56 but I can win against much higher levels. Here is a stake I won from a level 80.
