Movie making...

Featured Replies

I'm trying to make a video using hypercam 2 and windows movie maker, but when I save it to web on movie maker, then save it to my movies, then upload onto megaupload, when I download it to test it, this happens:

The purple square in the middle is the video, the black is the unused space on windows media player. How do I get it to be full screen? I'm guessing I'm missing a step in windows movie maker..

Well when your "screenshot" consists of a plain black png how did you expect us to help?

When a screen or video capture turns out black that usually means that your graphics card is processing it and there isn't really a way for it to send it back up if you want a picture of what it rendered.

First you could try disabling hardware acceleration or any other crap that your video card wants to use.

right click desktop > properties > settings > advanced > troubleshoot

don't forget to turn it back on.

It would help us if you would state what you are taking a video of I assume an application or a game since you are having this problem.

Make sure CAPTURE LAYERED is ON if it is off.

On my screen I can see a purple square in the middle of the screenshot. Stand up, and look at the monitor again.

And thanks darrel, I'll try it
