Money making with ranarrs?

I was thinking about making money by growing ranarrs, but I have a few questions before I start putting money into this.

3. Is there anything to keep the herb to not fail and die? with 99 farming you're still gonna get around the same number of deaths, because jagex wants to keep it that way

6. With 12 seeds I will be growing 2 seeds at a time, is it true that I will spend 7 and a half hours growing these? You should be using 4 or 5 because of 4 allotments + my arm. But otherwise, its 9 hours, not 7 and a half (12=Number of seeds/2=number of seeds planted at a time=6 X 90 Minutes per seed=540 Minutes/60 Minutes in an hour=9 Hours

Ermm....200k for 9 hours of growing time, No thank you. I'll just merchant that in around 30 mins :wall: I though I found a better way of making money, guess not -.-

You can do both of them, just add supercompost to it and you'll profit, even if you aren't looking at the herbs the whole time.

You can't add anything to herbs (thats what the tip.it guide says)

Herbs cannot be protected in any way or be looked after by the farmer, so you will have to do it all by yourself. If they get diseased you have to use a plant cure potion on them. If they die, use a spade to dig up the patch. Herb patches do not need to be watered. Here is a list of all the herbs, the levels, and the xp you get from them.

 

 

 

It says it can't be protected because supercompost is only a boost, but a 100% safe method to avoid disease, but you can still add some to it.

If you check on them periodically, you'll see if they're deseased. Using a plant cure on them will cure them.
