It's good to hear they aren't all tight [wagon] (sorry about the stereotyping, I know it's wrong, as are all stereotypes) and they can look past the assumption of things that might offend thier belief.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

See, that's what I just can't stand, paternalism like that. He think it's something which might change your views negatively, so he says you can't go see it. How can you ever respect such a wish? He says you're completely unable to make your own decisions about what is good and bad. A horrible opinion to have IMO.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tend to agree. Parents should let kids have thier own beliefs, as long as they don't damage society.

Anyway, I think it depends on the church if they wanna show Life of Brian. I'd have a problem if it was Meaning of Life as that movie wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
