wretched_axe
I was wondering, if you build a marble burner in your chapel(POH) Are both burners being build? Or just one space? So for marble burners, do I need 4 marble block or 2 marble blocks total?
Pkmastachaos
When you build the marble burners you build TWO meaning both at the same time, thus, whatever materials it says you need you just get those. So basically all you need is 2 marble blocks and 2 steel bars. Enjoy your Marble burners and most likely a guilded alter, they're fantastic for prayer experience. :D

Omegaham
Do marble burners give more xp than norma incense burners?
PhelimReagh
Do marble burners give more xp than norma incense burners? Aye. Marble burners give you more XP than lower-level burners, although I don't think anyone has taken the time to document the XP differences*. Figure probably 10-20% difference per level of burner (i.e., A Gilded Altar with two Mahogany burners lit might only get you 325-340 Prayer XP per bone used, rather than 350 if using Marble burners). *If someone has, my apologies. I just tested this myself a couple of days ago. Mahogany burners with gilded altar give exactly the same experience per bone as marble burners with gilded altar - 252 experience per dragon bone. I was disappointed because I spent the considerable amount more on marble burners thinking they would make a difference in the amount of experience, but it is not the case :( But it is good news for those who want to save some money, lol. I'm not going to dispute your findings, as I haven't done the same thing, but I will point to: Key features The main feature of the chapel is the altar and incense burners. You can recharge your Prayer in the chapel as normal. There is an important extra feature to the altar: depending on your altar and the number of incense burners you have lit, you will be awarded more Prayer experience for the bones you offer. Please note: These values are based upon having the best burners. If you have lower level burners, you will find there is a difference in the experience you will receive. There could very well be a bug that no one has reported, but according to Jagex, there should be a difference.

Indeed, and that information from the knowlege base is the reason I built the marble burners to begin with. But I did test it and the experience is identical. I will tell you that I sent a game query and got a very quick and very nice answer from Jagex stating that there is a minute difference in the experience and granted I only tested 2 dragon bones but that only means that if there is a difference it is way less than one experience point per bone. :?
