Sky done with oils in painter. The trees were done mostly in photopaint because I couldn't get the right brush in painter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ah it's nice to visit and see that people are still enthusiastic about painting. :) Great stuff guys, if I have any free time this weekend I'll be sure to pick up the pen and sketch something small.

hmm i think i shall have to try out with this, I'll be drawing stuff with pencils and pens though, so i'd be more than happy if you stuck with stuff like wings, that i can draw with line rather than paint like water he he

It is possible to draw water, though you have to plan thoroughly. Just use the side of the pencil to shade the shadows.

Thanks for posting! The only major crit would be that his left side (our right) is slanting a bit over.
