im1knight Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 okay, today i got a blue screen when im doing some normal stuff on the computer...and then my friend told me i need some hardware/software update, so i went on windows update, selected all updates...and i click install...not even 1 kb is downloaded after 1 hour.....wtf can b the problem???any ideas ppl? Quit runescape on Jan 6th of 2008, at level of 115 with around 150M worth of item in bank...however stats still remainsWorld 59, the world i loved~ Now 95% dedicated to playing Microsoft flight simulator http://www.youtube.com/user/im1knightmy youtube channel with many FSX videos i made. please leave a comment if you will Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Darrel104 Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 It doesn't help one bit to tell us its a blue screen. The next time it happens you should write down what it says and post it. After that you should google it and see what you can find about it. If this is just a one time occurring thing then you shouldn't be too concerned about it unless it is a reoccurring problem or you read something that you should be concerned about. If you just assume that a hardware/software update is needed because of a blue screen that you didn't read/ don't understand then you shouldn't be going around downloading random things but installing the windows updates would get good. You could also download XP SP2 since I assume you don't have it since I have herd the Windows updates are forced after it, witch they should be.
