Question About "Americas Army"

Featured Replies

I've had alot of free time on my hands lately, and I stumbled upon a free FPS called "America's Army". I was wondering a few things about it:

1. Does anyone actually play it? Is it an active or dead game? Approximately how many people play it actively?

2. Is it any good (for a free game)?

3. Does it have bad lag if your running a good connection?

Im downloading it at the moment. Your help is appreciated.

I used to play it, but play warrock now. I think theres still some people that play it. At night theres like no one on.

It's pretty good for a free game. Might be laggy unless u have good comp.

You need to complete training in order to play online though.

There are more than 20,000 people playing AA at any given time.

It is extremely good for a free game, but is really heavy on the download size.

No, it shouldn't lag much at all with latencies under 500.

Training isn't too bad, and it will bring you up to Par with most of the other players. I've completed all training and have a bit of fun with it once in a while.

My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

I only enjoy the pipeline maps and the "training" map. I like warrock a lot more though.

Bridge Crossing should be ported to every FPS game ever created,
