March 5, 200719 yr Years ago, I accidently cut through the back of my thumb with a saw. It cut right down to the bone but strangly, there was very little blood (at first). I fainted lol... like others have said, you don't necessarily have to lose blood to faint. Although I believe if you lose too much, you go into shock which is entirely different and way more dangerous.

March 7, 200719 yr alot of people are saying a litre would make you faint but i think its more than that because when you give blood its generally a litre (i think) but myself i have no idea and i dont study biology.
