March 4, 200719 yr Hi, I think I am going to start fletching untill lvl 99. I was wondering: - How much bows can you string in an hour? - How much bows can you turn into bows in an hour? Like the max amount when you turn chat off and concentrate on the fletching itself. I hope to see some answers from players who actually got fletching expierence. Thanks anyway :P - Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend ) -
March 4, 200719 yr 2 weeks ago, I could string about 1k in a hour Wow your slow. I could manage to string 2.5k - 3k an hour with chats off. I'm sure you can go faster though. Not sure about how many bows can be cut in an hour though... @Trade_With
March 4, 200719 yr Well currently I'm cutting willow unstrungs (not bothering with stringing), and if I don't chat much, I can cut around 1200 an hour. (or somewhat close to that, I haven't actually figured out the exact amount). But I think there is a guide in either Player Made guides or Archive of Wisdom, that talks about maximizing your strining time, can't remember how many they dis an hour. But you might check through there for some tips. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]

Not sure about how many bows can be cut in an hour though... but doing 3k an hour? if you do some math you take only 1.2 sec to string 1 bow. and you still need to bank. seems a bit to fast for me
March 5, 200719 yr It takes less than a second to string 1 bow, and with some rapid clicking 14 can be strung in under 10 secs. Banking takes up the biggest amount of time, but 2-3k an hour is still possible. Check the player made guides, there's an excellent guide on how to power fletch there. @Trade_With

Even using the Cwars method, it takes about 5 seconds to bank, get longs, get strings and carry on... You're saying you can do 230 invents of yew longs... Now, seeing as you'll need to bank 230 times, this will take 1150 seconds... Which is 20minutes... So, this leave you 2400 seconds to string 3k bows... 2400/3000 = 0.8 seconds to string each bow. ... I seriously doubt anyone could do it that quickly... Provided im guessing it would take someone 5 seconds to bank and sort out items, it would most likely take alot longer.

I'm pretty sure it was Uular who said you can get near the 2.5-3k mark an hour. 0.8 seconds per stringing isn't to bad as you can do about a load of bows in 10 seconds. 14 bows per 10 seconds = 0.714 seconds. March 5, 200719 yr I always get 10 bows and 10 strings from the bank for 1 inventory, save's banking time as you don't have to get another 5 and store 1 again :wink:
March 5, 200719 yr I have level 99 fletching and I can assure you... 3k per hour is actually quite easy. All you need is a one click bank (I prefer the chest in lumby basement), and place a bow and string next to each other in the last two slots in your inventory (this way you can click very fast indeed). Believe me, it's entirely possible and easy to string at least 3k per hour (I generally managed 3.1-3.2k per hour). Granted, you do have to concentrate. I strung yews (because magics were too difficult to buy in bulk), so I have averaging 225k experience per hour. I went from level 88 to level 99 in about 2 weeks.
March 5, 200719 yr I cut from 2k-2.5k depending if I have chats on or off. I string 3k on average if no chats...never timed chats.
