March 5, 200719 yr As in easiest and fastest method, where to train, etc. Longbows? Shortbows? Crossbows? Which type of bow and which attack style should be used? Thanks.
March 5, 200719 yr I always recommend the highest level shortbow you can use at least until you're able to use the Crystal Bow. I usually recommend training against monsters that aren't too high a level (so that you'll hit often), such as Ogres and Trolls

It depends if you are P2P or F2P. But, for F2P, a shortbow on rapid worked well for me. There's not a lot of difference in max hit for Bronze and Iron arrows. Look here to see Tip Its range damage table. If you pick up your arrows, then you can use each one about 4 times before it breaks. That can save you a lot of money. An easy way to pick up your arrows is to cast a Curse spell on the monster first. That will make it walk over to you and stand just outside your safe spot as you kill it. Then, all of your recoverable arrows will be in the loot pile when it dies. You could try killing the minotaurs in the SoS, they drop a lot of arrows. I got to 80 by using Bronze arrows against the 2 lessers on the top of Crandor Island. Hope this helps.
March 5, 200719 yr if you are p2p, have done the dwarf cannon quest and done lighthouse quest (i think that is the names of them), then using a cannon in the lighthouse bottom floor with the dagganoths is your best option for fast range training. That is if you can afford the c balls and cannon and have done the quest. Barrows drops: ahrims staff (2), karils coif, karils xbow, torags plate body, veracs helm.
March 6, 200719 yr I just used iron arrows on Minotaurs in the SoS. Started out with 600, ended up with ~2000 :
