RuneScape Information

  1. I play for fun just like so many of you. I could say that I'm addicted too, as I want to achieve the goals I set on the first day of my RS-career, so to speak. But it's not like I have to play every day or even every week. I play when I feel like playing and when I have time. My fiance, my friends and my school/job comes always first. Then other things like playing RuneScape.
  2. I had a dream few weeks ago that was mixed RuneScape and Harry Potter. I remember that I was looking for something from a big castle with some friends, some golden cup or something like that. I ran to a door and I knew I had to go through that room, there was no turning back for some reason. An old lady appeared and told me that there is a black dragon inside that room and I must defeat it to get to the next room. I had no armor and no weapons (some treasure hunter...), but I saw from the door that there were all sorts of RS armour and weapons on the wall, like dragon medium helm and Ahrim's robes. And I also saw a broomstick, decided to give it a go like in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. :D So I went in, saw that the dragon wasn't paying attention (sleeping probably) and I ran to the broom. The dragon realized that I was there and he probably wanted to have me for lunch, I saw it getting ready to breath fire. And when I took the broom off the wall, first flames came out and... I woke up.
  3. I actually found my fiance through the internet relay chat, though we were just friends at first and met irl as friends, the relationship got deeper by time spent irl. And I was 19 at the time we met... But. What comes to RuneScape relationships, I really don't understand what's so fun about them. I witnessed a break-up in RS few days ago and it was like in the Bold and the Beautiful or Days of Our Lives etc. A guy had said something bad and the girl was sad and told her friend about it and then it was like a war... Later, the boy got together with the ex-girlfriends friend and suddenly it was all so pure love that no-one can ever feel like that. And yesterday that ex-girlfriend told me that she actually is a he, just having a female account. And I've heard of RuneScape marriages... I wonder what my mother would say if me and my man got married in RS instead of a real life local register office... ;)
  4. Why not ninjas? The game has a lot of others like sort of vikings up in the North, jungle people in the South, pirates all over... Not a bad idea to get more land to the East and bring a bit of RS-humoured ninja culture to the western lands.
  5. Queen rocks. I've liked the band since I was 3-years-old when my mom played the songs to me. I used to sing the songs in daycare though I didn't know a word of English back then. Queen is still one of my favourite bands ever, and I can't wait to see a Queen tribute rock opera "Another Kind of Magic" next Friday (2.11.). Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the legends, but I prefer The Show Must Go On, I'm Going Slightly Mad, Who Wants to Live Forever and Breakthru. R.I.P. Freddie. We miss you.

  7. I don't worry about Russia at all. I'm worried about the USA and about Bush walking around like a living time bomb. here in Europe there are not many people who wouldn't think of him as a danger to whole world. We saw what happened in Iraq. Here, Bush is considered as war-freak who should go and take a long nap. The longer the better. Forever sounds good. But that is only one opinion. Just like it is another opinion that Russia will blow us up. It would be so much easier if the leaders of countries wouldn't fuss about weapons so much. Including the huge-war-freaks in Korea. Just put those guns away for a moment and take a cup of tea. And play chess to solve problems between countries. No need killing innocent people for that.
  8. Music is everything to me. It started when I was about 4 years old, and I started to play keyboards on my own and I composed my first song about a year later. Can't remember anything about it anymore. Then in high school I played in many school concerts and took part in a musical (had three roles and I enjoyed the heck out of it!) and I was living the best time of my life. Nowadays I don't have time to play piano and sing as much as I used to, but I listen to music almost all the time - music player is off only when I'm sleeping. My musical taste has changed a bit during the years. As a child I liked whatever played in the radio, but today I listen to everything I can call music without bursting into tears or laughing my body parts off. Unfortunately for rap music, rap doesn't fit into my taste. Nor does country music. Almost everything does. Alternative rock from 1980's (and forward from that decade) UK and Finnish music are the two main groups that keep playing in my player again anda again. Bands like The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Placebo, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Nightwish, A Perfect Circle, Evanescence and many, many more are close to me.
