  1. The quests themselves are easily completed, its just getting the stuff for the quest that takes the time
  2. Should of used Vincent he owns :P
  3. Lol Dagganoths? Are you kidding me? Yeah raiding Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Onyxia's Lair, and Naxx with 40 people is ALOT like killing 3 big Dagganoths when you only need 3 people to kill them. Not to mention in raiding your not only killing bosses but killing mobs to get to the bosses, and if you mess up on a pull your whole raid gets whiped. OH I get it now. Instead of trusting six close friends, I choose a bunch of dummies from a guild that won't return my stuff if I die. Yep I got ya now. Lol you actually think that guild members don't know eachother very well before raiding with eachother? I know all the people in my guild and we trust eachother very well. As for getting items (btw you dont even lose items when you die) but when you kill a boss you have a loot master you who distributes loot if you want it, and if you want it you have to bid dkp on it which you earn from going to raids and killing bosses, being on time, staying for so long etc.

  5. I think except for java based you just described WOW. Last time I knew WOW was point and click. The hit you do is totally determined by the server and its algorithms, just like RS. I sure don't see depth is WOW with its lack of skills. Its repetitive to play PVP or go on clan wars. Lol clan wars? First of all "clans" in WoW are called GUILDS. And you dont go to wars you go raid and kill bosses for items to gear up guild members. And the depth in runescape skills? Do you actually believe that making bows for 10 hours, catching butterflies, running to an altar type thing to make runes has depth? Its more repetitive then grinding in WoW. The only "depth" it has it that you can make things at a higher level....which the skills in WoW have
  6. Actually yes Blizzard customer support is better. I emailed them about a problem I had with downloading patches and it being slow and within a day they emailed me back how to fix the problem and to email them back if I still had problems.
  7. Same here. It is like inflation, the stats are HUGE. I can get the same done in rs with 60 hitpoints as I can with 580 hitpoints in WoW or Hellbreath. I mean, lvl 60 limit? I lvled him to 39 in one day. And then what? Waiting to find a clan and wait till there ready and try to follow them into battle and all that jazz? Hell no. I ain't much into combat anyways. I love all the skills in runescape. And after 5 years with my Heymrdj character, with a one year hiatus, he's still just reached lvl 73 2 days ago. And I think if somehow I max this character out before rs dies, I'm gonna make him a lil bro. A fighter, staker. He's gonna have 70 defence, before any other skill gets trained on. and He's gonna be a ranger/mage. Since 4 years ago in rs1 I've always wanted to make a character like that, so I think i soon will. But thats the difference. So many years with this one character, and I;m still not bored. And when I'm done with this one...well I already got plans laid out for another one. Leveled to lvl 39 in one day eh? Got no life? Played for 24 hours? Considering I started a new character on a newer server not too long ago and the highest person was level 45 and the server was only 3-4 days old. I seriously doubt you could get 39 in ONE day.
  8. Well considering this has turned into a WoW bashing topic I thought I would do some....defending. Reading some replies I have decided to....reply to those people bashing on WoW. First of all: Ok now the people posting on here saying they have played WoW and that Runescape is better, played Runescape for years, and played WoW for less than a week. In your first week of Runescape did you think it was spectacular? I think not. The first time I played Runescape I stopped but then came back a month later and started playing again cause I was bored. NO MMORPG is going to grasp you from the get go, yes some games do, but most games don't. I quite enjoyed playing WoW in the starting area, most of the people were friendly. This guy actually took aside a few hours of his time to help me do quests and such which would of took me much longer to complete if it was not for his help. The diversity of the "starting areas" is very interesting as well. Each area has a different feel, a different landscape to view. For example, the starting area (Durotar) for Orcs, Trolls is a desert like area with boars, scorpions, imps, etc. While the starting area for Undead (a dark gloomy forest plagued by death) has the "evil" undead, bats, spiders, zombies etc. In runescape, you get one area on a freakin island that you HAVE to complete to get into the main game -.- Second of all: Runescape has depth? Strategies? And WoW doesnt? Are you freaking kidding me??? What the hell do you do on Runescape that takes strategies? Do you maybe minimize your screen while afk training and play different games? Oh no wait I forgot, you sit in edgeville creating bows from logs for hours on end getting your fletching level up. Tons of planning going on there, how long did it take you to come up with that strategy? On WoW end game (which infact Runescape has no end game, unless you consider Dagg Kings end game which level 80s can do, which is NOT end game material) you raid dungeons with multiple bosses that actually take planning and strategies to complete. If your strategie sucks or someone in the group doesnt follow the plan, you wipe and have to retry killing the boss. These bosses are very difficult. You have to plan in advance before going into the dungeons what classes you are going to bring. How much dps you want, how many healers you want, how many warriors you want, etc. Thirdly: I think I read something about storyline in one of the posts. Great storyline Runescape has, 3 gods and they fight with eachother. There followers go out and kill eachother, AWESOME. WoW has indepth stories, tales, everything about not only the playable races in WoW but the other races you cannot be. Not to mention the THOUSANDS of quests that WoW has that can discover more to the history of World of Warcraft. How many quests does jagex give Runescape players that are actually worth doing? Like 30? Awesome. The ONLY thing that gives runescape the advantage over WoW is simply that it has a f2p version, which infact is [cabbage]ty compared to p2p because jagex put so much effort into making p2p better so you will eventually buy p2p and make them money. Yes for people who have bad out of date computers lag might be a issue, yet I lag more on Runscape than I do on WoW. How ironic? I am not even going to point out the community that Runescape has, and how it was destroyed by Miniclip advertising Runescape on their site *cough* seven year olds playing Runescape *cough*. One last thing, my friend who plays RS and says RS > WoW based on how Jagex is better than Blizzard. Go message Jagex about a problem you have, I am almost certain you will get an auto message back saying the same stuff over and over again. And if you are f2p, they will advertise p2p to you (I have experienced this myself).......I will be coming back to see replies after I visit my dads house for the next few days. Anyone want to argue with me, go ahead, Ill most certainly have something to say. By The Way: Chuck Norris doesn't run away, he just attacks in the opposite direction.
  9. well thats the thing. It IS popular. Thats why people pay attention to it (negative attention). I read somewhere that it has almost the same paying member count as WoW does. 7 million+ people play WoW, are u telling me that over 7 million people play p2p on runescape? Don't think so
  10. No Wai! Don't leave us! From what I have heared from friends, Ruescape is more fun, they all came back :) To have fun and meet peeps like Umega :-s Naah, just to have fun. It's a fun game. And sometimes, it helps for school! Go Runescape! Lol no way in hell is Runescape more fun than WoW
  11. Sometimes when I played Runescape I noticed that when I was very very close to a level (att, str, def etc) I would hit very bad consistantly. It was probably just because I was close to the level and was noticing the 1s,2s,3s and 4s etc. more than the 25s
  12. If they buff up imps they would be very effective :P Such as if they cast magic and such *cough* Warlocks in World of Warcraft *cough*.
  13. I played Runescape for around 3-4 years, it was exciting at times, but now I realize how bad the game truely is (mainly because i played Guild Wars and am playing WoW right now). The community is at its worst point in my opinion, theres so much scamming and hate between players its not even fun to play. People also base you by your level which is incredibly stupid, when I log onto Shaunri33 (121 combat) I get respect from the lower level people, but if I was to log onto my range pure (Shaun_Ri33) I would get flames if I even tried to talking to anyone because I would be lower level to them. What Runescape should also add is an end game part to the game, obviously it would be members but only lvl 120+ would be able to do it, whether it be a boss fight or something. And dont tell me King Daggs, KQ, KBD, and Elemental are end game because you can kill those at level 90.
  14. I think i was around 65-70, not too sure. I was so proud of myself when i completed it too :D
