Noob Coder need helps :S

Currently, I'm doing a webpage that needs sorting and filtering and I came across this http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary. So any programmer/kind souls out down would give me an idea on how to do the filter and sorting using php? I know it is way too off topic and should post on a programming forum instead but the sorting was just simply amazing.

I think the best bet is getting in contact with a Crew Leader or the admin Peter, whom do a good chunk of coding for the site. (assuming Peter's still around)

They should be able to give you a general idea, depending how in-deep it is since it's a new feature of the site.

I can help with PHP, JQuery, HTML etc. but I'll need you to be more specific as to what it is you want. :)

It's actually really simple.

The sorting is done by a jquery plugin called tablesorter.

Unfortunately, that's basically useless for large sets because it sorts only the information on the page currently.

Edit: If you want full sorting(that works correctly) that is searchable and filterable, check out the jquery plugin DataTables

Moved to somewhere a little more fitting.
