Discovered that there's an ant colony living under my room of our rented house. I only realized when I saw ants moving some white maggot looking things in a corner of my bedroom. It's either kill myself or kill them so I'm gonna flush them out with some ant spray in the morning.

I think I went from knowing what PHP and SQL are to creating a session based online shopping basket in about 3 days for a deadline. And then I realised there's probably tons of source code online that I could have used instead. Those were a few fun sleepless nights.

I somehow decided my time is better spent packing for when I leave halls on Saturday instead of revising for my exam tomorrow. For my first exam I completely cleaned my room, bathroom and kitchen. Why do I do this?!

I am dead, my brain is frying. I have a systems analysis and design exam on Monday and I'm determined to spend all my free time on revision. I usually fail colossally in exams so I'm gonna change that. I also should be getting some grades back today so I'm a bit distracted u_u checking my email every 10 minutes.

Spend the past 5 hours making a website, writing the content for it, photoshopping the content for it and then finally a 1000 word report. I need to start writing my JavaScript game, it's in for next Tuesday. I am really gonna dumb down the game, three images in a column, about 5 rows and each image has a radio button underneath. If player presses correct radio button, +5 to his score. Not even going to entertain the idea of difficulty levels and lives. Its 7:11am I have not yet slept and I have a class at 9 but I'm going to sleep!
  13. I asked my group member to send me our finished report so I could improve her crappy spelling/grammar. She takes about half of what I've improved so now we just submitted a report which has bits that seem like they were written by a ten year old. I also changed the font from Times New Roman to Calibri but she didn't realise that they were different and our first sentence of the report is literally half Calibri, half Times New Roman. Hopefully we still get a 2:1, I'll take a low 2:1.

Spent 3 hours today googling to find some sort of code that could give me an idea of where to begin for my game. We have to create a game in JavaScript and our teachers have taught us about arrays, functions and tables. I'm making a simple odd one out game where you have to click on the odd picture to advance but it seems like a huge task. Kill me!

I need a job but more importantly, I need to start looking at apartments for the next school year. Need a one bedroom apartment/bedsit that's less than £110 per week and I think I'll be able to survive on that with my maintenance loan and grant. Can't view any apartments any time soon though, Easter holiday is upon us.

Thinking about changing my course from ICT to Digital Media Technology. Just not enjoying certain aspects of ICT and DMT sort of caters to my interests way more. Parents might not be happy about this but at least I wouldn't have to repeat the first year.

Last night as I was drifting off to sleep I had an awesome idea for an app that I am pretty sure was unique and not done before. I have completely forgotten what the idea was, so much regret at not getting my phone out and typing a short memo or something. I remember thinking I would have to find someone to program it for me and that the programmer might steal the idea... Must have been a good one. I have a weekend of constructing a DFD on a Monopoly-esque game that revolves around teaching users Systems Analysis stuff... Kind of hard to do when my group hasn't even decided on what elements of the original game we're going to incorporate and I barely understand DFDs as it is. And they want me to go to level 2.

He's not to my tastes. He's from Bangalore so he has that weird foreign look, wet slick hair and faux leather shoes. Creepy. And coming from me, that's awful. It got creepier when he replied to my rejection message. A quote from him, "Take your time, it can be days, weeks, months and years (but only for 2-3 years as I will be finishing my PhD) and let (anytime during this duration) me know if you feel/want to be my life partner. Till the time, I will wait for you as a good friend." I see him on Thursdays at badminton, it's going to be so weird.

May I join in with the drunk TIF'ing even though I am I feel as though I am coherent enough to type a sentence? I accepted a friends request on facebook from a guy who I've spoken to once in the badminton club at uni... He pretty much professed his love for me and would like me to reciprocate his love. [bleep]ing weird, I have to let the guy down gently.

That fad hit our flat blocks a few weeks ago, I think it went through 7 or 8 people before it ended. I hate it as much as I hate that one chant where you have 8 seconds to down a drink.

With most laptops you can remove the keyboard without taking it appart. Find out if yours is like that too and how to remove the keyboard, and just disconnect the tape style connection (sorry, my english is a bit poor tonight). I'm assuming you're now using either a usb keyboard or a wireless keyboard? Yeah I'm using a usb keyboard. I have a HP Pavilion G6-2399sa and after looking online it seems I have to unscrew the back then pry open the keyboard. I don't see much room for opening it though and I feel it might damage the laptop but it's interrupting with daily use so I gotta do it. I was thinking about replacing it myself but I can't find a white bloody keyboard anywhere.

Does anyone know how to disable a laptop keyboard? Mine is freaking out ever since I spilt juice on it but the laptop has become conpletely unuseable today. I'm running windows 8 whixh is a pain because it opens up random apps :(

My keyboard came today, Logitech K120. Bought it based on its price (£8.47) but it has a very good feel to it. The letters on the keys look ugly as heck though. And my new watch came today as well. It's a skeleton watch and I would have liked to see more of it working inside but it still has a good view of the gears and stuff.
