About this blog

WC is exciting I swear!

Entries in this blog

Oh its back, and with a vengeance no Runescapean could have anticipated! Yet this time I am not cutting Ivy, in fact I sold my hatchet to bolster my funds for a Fury. What a sad sad day </3

Anyways, what have I been doing? Well being a total quest noob I battled recently through RFD and Desert Treasure.. my thoughts? HOW ANNOYING ARE THOSE TRAPS WHICH KICK YOU OUT OF THE FINAL PYRAMID!@"£!?

Armed now with Barrows gloves and an ice burst I am looking towards a few goals -

1. Raising summoning to around 70 since that's where a lot of the useful familiars reside,

2. Raising my stats universally so I can complete all of the diaries at the Hard difficulty,

3. Getting my Cb above 100 both to become a big boy (questionable) finally and also to gain access to the "men's" lander in pest control - full void is calling out to me!

Anyhow that will do for this entry, what are everyone's current goals? I'm sure they will be far more impressive than mine! Oh and on a final note, any tips on how to improve my meagre stats efficiently are more than welcome! Cheers 8-)

Well today rather than ramble about the impending Wilderness some more, or speculate what is behind the Frozen Door, I decided to rewind my blog, (dare I say the best and most popular blog ever on Tip.It :shades: )

I have never really been all that strong a force in the general discussion threads and in my opinion the welcome to Tip.It sticky is a bit brief.. So, here is my very own hand made fun-bits and facts about A_Fiasco

> Irl name: Jake

> Been playing RS since: Autumn 2004, on Dial Up!

> Reason I started playing: A friend used to tell me all his crazy stories from this game

> First scam I fell for: The 'give me your armour' trust scam

> First death: To a greater demon in the Wilderness.. Sigh

> Did I once believe in RS girlfriends/boyfriends: Yes. :wall:

> Favourite Skill to train: Firemaking/WC in F2P at Draynor Village, fun times :P

> Reason I chose my Username: General Fiasco = Awesome Band! ;)

> First Pk experience?: Unsuccessful.. Bound, Teleblock'd then dropped..

> Favourite memory of myself being a Noob:

Scammer - 'Trimming all armour for free'

Me - *With Iron Armour* 'Ooo Please Trim mine! I'll pay'

Scammer - 'Only do black and above..'

> Quest I found hardest so far: Monkey Madness and that dumb slider puzzle... Gah! #-o

> Most prized Runescape item: My Bob the Cat T shirt (red) \:D/

> Scariest Moment in RS for me so far: When I first got my D Long I went to fight the Giant Mole, he blew my candle out and as it went dark I nearly screamed I was so worried I'd die

> Runescape pet-hate: People who flame others over their Skill capes, c'mon even 99 Fletch still takes planning, time and a grind!

> First RS Youtuber I loved: Dudefish15.. where'd he go :(

> Ways I like to AFK: Read/do homework while listening to the sounds only, and learning a Tab in one half of the screen while I check RS occasionally too :)

> One piece of Runescape advice: Ignore those who hate on you, it's not worth the fight.. You can't beat a troll very easily!

> Current Runescape Goal: 99 Woodcutting :) (Lvl 95..)

> Runescape big goal? To be look cool and kick butt!

So there we go, that is my little trivia sheet for me. Feel free to post your answers to the questions, add in any of your own good ideas for questions! And leave out any of mine you don't think are a good idea :)

Look forward to seeing your replies! :)

Hello again, my valued Tip.It readers! All four of you.. You know who you are <3: Today, with the huge poll arising.. my Woodcutting ambience has been broken.

The Wildy appears to be making a return! Now I am no expert in predicting Jagex like some of our community, but the thought this poll is a publicity stunt scares me a lot, the cynicism of Jagex to do this and toy with it's members just for a World Record? Shameful!

The thought of Wildy returning immediately excited me, I voted for both of my accounts and nearly wee'd at the thought of PvP and Free Trade returning.. But after flicking through the forums here I was filled with dread. The Falador riots when PvP was banned were some of the most iconic moments in RS history, but we as a community came through it and have adjusted our play styles for this.

How will the re-introduction affect Runescape? Scammers will return with tricks both new and old, PvP will no longer be Green d'Hide and a Rune Scimitar as I remember it. I am not pretending to be an oracle, and it really interests me to know what you think is going to change, good or bad if this comes in.

Personally, I like the idea of prices being as of old, it baffles me that yews are 450gp and so on, I have, personally an old school mentality, but we all adapted to the new G.E etc.

But then again what do I know :) Post a reply! I'll take thumbs down too! :D :P

- Cheers Fi

So today, is a good day. Snow is falling, my mug of tea is full and the festive spirit is sweeping over Runescape.. Or not! they should make it snow in Varrock or something, who else is up for a snowball fight in PvP? :P

But anyways :) as you probably can tell, I'm still woodcutting, still filling Tip.it's recent blog updates with my junk and rambles :D But today I have a question, to anyone who actually reads these 'thoughts'.. The other kind of person I've met Wc'ing has been flamers/trolls and I have begun to wonder, is it just me who attracts a good trollin' ? How often do you get trolled or flamed for having a n0oB this, or training a skill a particular way..

Moreover if you are one of these people justify your actions! :P Is it all light hearted and I'm just thin skinned? Or is it a duty of people who are experienced to dish out a bit of tough love to naive players such as myself?!

Extra bit - Doing a skill which is largely AFK I spend a whole lot of time on YT, and I don't know what the rules are on tip.it but MondoMedia have started a new series called 'Stick' Figures and I recommend it to all! In fact does anyone have any good rs commentators? All the ones I'm subbed too have stopped making vids tbh, lets do swap for swap on good YT channels!

Thoughts of an Ivy Cutter, I

So today I am over halfway to my very first 99, I have become an excellent AFK-er and pro vanquisher of the evil tree (when I remember its going to spawn).

In my time cutting trees I've met 2 kinds of WC people, and bots ofc :P

The first are friendly, usually high levelled members of our community, its a fact I've come to accept as an old player with only 86 Combat level, my opinion is not worth a lot in this game! But at Ivy there is a feeling that this peace extends to the whole of Runescape! So i highly recommend Wc to relax if you've been with trolls for too long! That is if you can stand the repetitiveness ! :P

- That'll do for my first post,

Fi
