Well, apparently i'm on the magical list that some fool is going to 'hack' me on New Years. If you haven't heard of this, search around and you'll find some info on it. But anyway, I doubt they'll get me, or anyone in fact. But just in case, I have done some stuff to my account to make sure they wont get any valuables. :thumbsup:

 

I am a bit nervous, although I know it's a hoax, there's always that little bit of doubt, and probably for the better, i'm going to lay of RuneScape for the rest of the year. Hopefully by then, i'll have gotten some more experience in GTA CW, and will have gotten better at it.

    Lol. What is he gonna do, take a stab at your password? Send you a trojan via email? You're totally safe.

     

    He claims he can get acess to about 750,000 accounts, i'm not worried at all anymore. But yeah, my blog post sums up what it was like earlier.

    If you think there's a chance at all, you could just set a PIN, that would make it even more difficult.

     

    Pretty sure if 750,000 accounts got hacked Jagex would do a rollback. Also, how does he plan to log into 750,000 accounts? If you could log in and out in 10 seconds, that'd take 86 days straight.

    EDIT: I got the list, turns out I'm on it, but I doubt anything's gonna happen.

    EDIT 2: Or you could just log on at like 6PM New years eve and put a rock on the left arrow key and go away, preventing anyone from logging in.

    I've had a PIN since I got scammed for my Rune stuff at level 40 or so. Yes, since I was scammed. I laugh about how I overreacted now, not that it was much of an overreaction. :mellow:

    Where would I find this list and you automatically log out after 6 hours of straight play.

    dude..if you downloaded that list

     

    1) scan your comp

    2) change pass and recoveries

    3) realize that this guy is a trickster who probably attached a trojan to his "list"

    Text files cannot contain viruses.

     

    And I downloaded it on a computer that I do not own, and it is neither connected to my network.
