About this blog

And a chronicle of his quest to Completionist.

Entries in this blog

The End.

Well, for the forseeable future.

Yeah, it's over. For now. Over the past few months I've grown tired of RuneScape. It no longer holds my attention like it once did. I no longer felt the excitement I once felt when I logged in. I didn't care for logging in, but did it just for the sake of checking ports and doing dailies. Re-sub time came around and I decided not to re-sub, but to cancel my membership. I can't see the point in paying for POP and the chance of something to bring me back.

So yeah, no need for a long drawn out thing. I did this a couple of weeks ago and haven't been back. So I suppose this is truly it. I can maybe see myself coming back for the new skill or a new quest or something, but for now, I'll be playing other games and doing other things.

Thanks RuneScape, I still love you, but you've got nothing for me at the moment. And the constant jamming of SOF/SGS down our throats furthers the problem. But that's something different entirely.

Catch ya next time, ~Dax.

02: Dax Reviews: Rage (PS3).

Fun fact, I actually completed Rage about a week before Flower. BUT TOO BAD I WROTE ABOUT FLOWER FIRST.

Rage:

Shelf-time: Around a year and a half.

Time to complete: Roughly 20 hours, all things considered.

Price: Technically free, but I had to buy two $25 games to get it, so really like 17 bucks.

So, Rage. What can be said for Rage? I bought Rage after seeing it for cheap in a generic trade-in shop when I was visiting my mum. I intended to buy it a weekbefore but backed out and bought Borderlands 1 instead. I later watched some gameplay and regretted that to a degree, but that’s another story. I cleaned it up alongside the first and third Uncharted games (Then I had a quick run across to Target and bought the second Uncharted game as well). It sat on my shelf for quite a long while, as when I went to play it, it seemed too similar to Borderlands, which I had just finished.

But it’s not really. It has its similarities, but my initial assumption of ‘Borderlands, without the cel-shading-sorta-business going on’ was largely inaccurate. Rage stands nicely as an excellent FPS game, with a side helping of driving. Now, I’ve never played any Doom or Quake, so I don’t have that drawing me in, I’m just a normal dude with some background with all gaming genres, so no nostalgia vision or callbacks to those two series.

Rage is pretty damn awesome. With some large things giving itself a massive punch in the face, but I’ll talk about them in a sec. First, the good things. It’s good, it’s fun (Very important for a game, I hear), and there’s a large chunk of things to do and things to see. Of the FPS’s I’ve played, it’s one of the nicest to look at, though the only environments you’ll see are deserts and old factories (With a small stretch in some new futuristic factories towards the end), they look lovely. Speeding through the overworld in your dune-buggy looks very nice and it was always a pleasure to drive to and from destinations.

The combat is fun and the hideouts you visit are fun to explore and have some nice little things hidden away. Shooting people in the face is quite satisfying (Very important for any shooter) and watching the bodies fall is always good. Using the little gadgets to dispose of people works well, and scavenging for parts to build them is a nice feature.

Onto the story, one of the most important things I look at in a game. The story is pretty dang awesome. I’m a big fan of the dystopian future storyline, and mixing it with the massive evil corporation taking over the world storyline was a treat. But here’s where I turn the tables and I go into the previously mentioned massive bad things holding Rage back. The story ends so abruptly. Your enemy is named and talked up, the Authority is on your doorstep, you’re raiding Capital Prime, you storm the base and reach the top of the tower and prime yourself for a MASSIVE BOSS FIGHT AND... Nothing (I mean, come on, Borderlands had a final boss, it was dreadful, but it had one!). The credits roll. You win. Yay? No. A massive let down at the end, especially considering the last boss was an hour ago and against a gang leader you toppled in 20 seconds with wingsticks.

Wingsticks. The kill-all. Seriously. Bandit? Throw a wingstick. Mutant? Throw a wingstick. Authority? Throw a wingstick. Wingsticks, a very cool invention, and one of the many things you can craft (Hint: It’s the main thing you’ll be crafting, so hang onto them blades). They function as a gadget, one of the little bonus weapons and are massively overpowered and the solution to every problem. So easy to dominate with them, and it just gets better when you upgrade them.

Though I suppose the bandits do occasionally win and they kill you, and again, and you’re dead. And you haven’t saved in an hour.

This is the final main fault, and it may be me being a pansy. The checkpoints are brutal. I’m not asking for a save every five seconds, but jeez. You’ll tackle a bandit hide-out or a new area, get 90% of the way through and die, and only then realise there was no save point in that entire hour or two you just did. That’s the point I stand up, eject the disc and throw in GTA V or whatever other game had my fancy at the time. And it happened a lot. A half-way save, even, would be better than me having to remember to save every five minutes. A few of the hide-outs I couldn’t stand to see and when I went back to do another mission there, oh god.

Behind all these massive problems, though, there’s one hell of a game there. The shooting is awesome (Though I glossed over it, it is, trust me), the driving is awesome (And the races you can enter are even better) and the story hiding away is brilliant (Unfortunately it disappears in the middle of the night without so much as a note). It’s all awesomeness, but these things just made me not want to play, hence its massive shelf-time. I think the thing I’m getting at, is with a sequel, I could really get behind a Rage franchise. But I’m hearing that that ain’t happening, which is a real shame.

Final rating: Try it, it’s like five bucks these days.

01: Dax Reviews: Flower (PS3).

A few nights ago, bored with all my other games, I threw in the Journey collection, intending to continue my Journey, but I decided instead to finish off Flower, and after I finished that, I felt compelled to write this up. I might do a short thing like this as I finish this massive collection of games I have here. We'll see.

Flower:

Shelf-time (Time it sat on my shelf unfinished): Roughly 2 months.

Total time to complete: Roughly 5 or so hours, spread over those two months.

Cost: $25, with two other games on the same disc.

So, I'll begin this by saying I bought this in the collection that comes along with Journey (The sole reason I purchased it) and flOw, and this was the first of the three I completed. We'll see those later on in this chronicle of finished games. Well, hopefully.

First of all, Flower is the very definition of flashy artistic gaming. Ambiguous goals, bright colours, sparkles all over the place and flower petals all over the god damn screen. It's overwhelming how much it shoves in your face in the few levels (Or flowers, I suppose you could say) you're offered.

But that's not a bad thing in the slightest.

It looks amazing, really. Those looks, to me at least, are the primary driving force to completing this game. All of those colours and sparkles I previously mentioned draw you in with an 'Ooo, shiny' mentality, and it couldn’t have been done any better way. I love it.

You're given nothing to go on, no narrative, not even as much as a word. When you first fire up the game, you're presented with a room, a window and a sickly looking flower on a bench, and from that, your journey begins. This game employs the use of Six-Axis on the PS3, a little used feature (Usually a good thing) that never got proper exposure. On that, this is the first game I've ever played where it's actually used well, instead of a really annoying tacked-on use, like in GTA IV (God damn tutorial in the phone) or the Ratchet and Clank (I never used those guns. Ever) games. Using Six-Axis, and feeling silly doing so, you steer over to the flower and are thrown into a completely new world, no story, no nothing. Especially no annoying tutorial that assumes I've never played a game in my life.

Your goal in Flower, though not explicitly stated, is to fly around a massive open field-sort area and bloom flowers by flying close by, as you 'bloom' these flowers, a petal from that flower joins your chain, and so over the stage you build a massive collection of flower petals (Which looks very pretty). You're steering with the controller, so it adds some slight difficulty until you find your bearings and remember that you have to use motion controls, and then it's only a matter of going the right way.

As you drive your flower chain through the level, the world opens up to you. As you head through fields full of dead grass, they are brought back to life and explode into a sea of green. As you head through dark fields covered in old power lines, you re-light lamps atop them. As you head through ruined cities, you destroy old pillars and paint buildings bright shades of blue, green and yellow.

Though the journey is short, the journey is beautiful. Every stage throws a new purpose at you, even if the mechanics don't change. Every moment of this game is enjoyable. Even after you finish each and every stage and reach the credits, you're thrown into another level, where you control a final petal as you 'play' the credits. Seriously, I love this game.

Final rating: Try it, carry on if you like what you see. And you will, trust me.

Welcome to what I guess will be the new format for my blog. Over recent weeks and months I've just not done enough to warrant a weekly thing, and I don't put much effort into it at all. So, hopefully, doing it this way will make me give more of a crap about it, but probably not. I don't even know why I still do these. Haha. Anyway, onto stuff.

First up, I suppose, will be my SCROLL PIECES. Which, unfortunately, for the time being, I HAVE NONE LEFT TO GET. Cleaned up the last of the scroll pieces at some point this month and acquired that nice little max port score, you know, a few weeks before POP V2. BUT I DON'T CARE.

Pretty damn awesome to see this lovely looking at me when I read my book.

MaxPortScore_zps7fbaaae8.png

I'm very excited for POP V2. Unfortunately, it sounds like we're not getting the new adventurers I want, but having more stuff to shoot for (Past 100K in all resources, which is what I've opted for spending my time in my port doing) and do is very much welcome.

So, I got lazy when Birthright of the Dwarves was released and gave up before the first little run through the Lava Flow Mine or whatever that place was. This month changed that, I got sick of seeing one quest left to do, so I set off and cleaned it up in a couple of days. I destroyed Grimmson and nearly took down Hreidmar once or twice, but got frustrated at the third or fourth attempt. My Chaotic Rapier seemed to have a little moment and I couldn't do as much damage as I had been. I yelled and got angry and ragequit that quest for a day. Came back with magic and annihilated them.

BirthrightoftheDwarves_zpscf530d9a.png

I finished the quest, sure, but had no idea what the problem with my technique was, I didn't change it at all, I just wasn't doing the right damage. So after the quest, as I was sorting my bank, I saw my Rapier there. Degraded. Face met palm and I pieced it together. Ah well, quest cleared, and now I can finally get an Imcando Pickaxe! Man, I hope that's not annoying to do.

ImcandoPickaxe_zpsc7a6161f.png

And it's not! Hooray! Nice little shiny new thing, I'm gonna get a ton of Mining levels with this...

97Mining_zpsd190ee10.png

Woo! But that means my Smithing level is out of sync with Mining, and I WILL NOT ST-

97Smithing_zpsed020c53.png

Oh, cool. Man, that Artisans Workshop gives some pretty cool stuff for FashionScape, if only my Golden Cannon could become even MORE ridiculous. It can? Oh!

RoyaleCannon_zpsc80645a2.png

Man, that's cool. If only I could use that cannon well, my Ranged level is pretty crap, comparitively.

96Ranged_zps30527ab7.png

Hmmmm.

Nah.

I can't link the last two to that well enough, here's a couple of Divination levels for ya:

81Divination_zps169b78b5.png

82Divination_zps47fbc405.png

And a nice shiny Dungeoneering level, freshly obtained this morning, just for you, yeah, you, you're cute, I like you, wanna go out for a coffee or something sometime?

110Dungeoneering_zps72915e7e.png

And that's about it. Unless I get something I'm particularly proud off, I'll just stick to monthly updates, I have way too many other games to play and RS no longer gets the attention it used to. Catch ya next time (Holy crap man, that'll be at the end of this year/start of the next, crap man, this year's gone way too fast, I don't like it), ~Dax.

101: 80+ Stats. Again!

OH MAN. GOD DAMN. Closed the tab accidentally after typing up this entry. eh. 80+ stats. lots of div. here's pictures

Only had three scroll piece voyages this week, failed one. :c Argh. Closing that tab really set me off. Anyway, catch you next time, ~Dax.

100: Missing, Presumed Dax.

And we're back! After a week hiatus, which happens all the time, I've gone and done a blog entry. This fortnight, I acquired A LOT of levels, man, I couldn't even count them if I tried. Alas, they were mostly all on Pokemon. Oh yeah. The only problem is that THERE ARE TOO MANY COOL POKEMON, AND I CAN ONLY HAVE SIX ON MY TEAM. :c

Anyway, RS STUFF:

74Divination_zps2a3b5dc9.png

75Divination_zps8aed99ba.png76Divination_zps3760fa53.png

76 Divination acquired, slowly getting there.

109Dungoneering_zps0ddf90f1.png

109 Dungeoneering, going up slower than in past, thanks to leaving my daily challenges open for both Divination and Dungeoneering. It'll be 120 one day.

MissingPresumedDeath_zps032cab5c.png

Now, I was impressed with this one. I still haven't finished the final Dwarf quest because I'm lazy and it's not that good so far. I reckon if they extended this and made it a bit harder, it could have been a solid hard or grandmaster quest. But if this is a sign of what to come, I'll be excited for the rest. I feel a bit phoney, though, siding with Seren, when I don't even really know her. Anyway, quite a good quest.

So. Scroll pieces! YEAH!

Gem-FindingScrimshawScroll04_zpsc17d18a9.png

GEM-FINDING. DONE.

That's all for now, catch you next time, ~Dax.

73Divination_zpsef37a287.png

YEAH BOY. 73 DIVINATION. THAT MEANS OVER 1M TOTAL EXP IN THE NEW SKILL. YOU GUYS ARE ALL JEALOUS.

So yeah. Stuff and stuff. I got nothing to say. I just remembered this and thought I'd better do something.

Got 95 Ranged. This is looking like it'll be my last 99, to be honest. Magic levels naturally, but Ranged only gains exp rarely and I don't care to train it.

95Ranged_zps9e9532ad.png

AND SCROLL PIECES.

GEM-FINDING. NEARLY DONE. Not much more to go now! Woo!

Catch you next time, ~Dax.

99Hunter03_zps1d14b2c0.png

Oh yeah! 99 Hunter! I was expecting this to be my last 99 for the longest time, probably since the beginning of this little ol' goal of mine, but with lamps and laziness, I've prevailed. I accidentally got this one at Burthorpe, forgetting about the doubled exp rewards of daily challenges, but that doesn't matter as it's all over now!

99Hunter01_zps6aa3aae8.png99Hunter02_zps48c7a4d5.png

Next goal, using up all my leftover pendants/recharge gems on Smithing, getting that together with Mining, then other things. Good thing I've already made a start on both of those:

Also bought this, because I like spending points, and because this is what I'm doing at the moment.

With a stomach full of tacos and a head full of unknowing of what I should do, I remember that blog thing I do occasionally, so I thought I'd better do it. Two weeks worth of stuff. I haven't played too much, thanks to other pursuits, but here's what I've got for ya.

First of all, I finished off the final superior ports set, Death Lotus, my lowest and least favourite fighting style (No real reason, just never been terribly fond of it). Looks pretty nifty, better than that ol' Dragonhide stuff.

FullDeathLotus_zps1b0cf072.png

Next up, Divination, still slowly going through the skill, and reached 70! That means I'm most of the way there, right? Woo! 70+ stats yet again!

67Divination_zps23ad8ad9.png

68Divination_zpse5bc7332.png

69Divinationlol_zps8bf44e01.png

70Divination_zps26bc1037.png

Also got this level, it's kinda cool I guess:

98Hunter_zps48b17e62.png

Actually, pretty happy about that. Hunter's been around for ages, and with Divination and its daily Hunter spot, it's getting cleaned up super easily.

Also scroll pieces:

And that's it.

ily alg and everyone

Catch you next time, ~Dax.

96: Right You Are, Kenny.

And so, my weekly blog post comes forth (SO SHUT UP CHEN), between episodes of MXC, hours upon hours of work and playing of Sleeping Dogs, I didn't really do much on RuneScape this week. Got a few levels here and there, and some other beautiful scroll pieces, but yeah. First up, we'll deal with Divination:

63Divination_zps6a6fcfb3.png

64Divination_zpsbdb54709.png

65Divination_zps1f02b4fc.png

Don't even need hide tags for this week's Divination efforts. Gonna have to work on this for 86 so I can clear the Elite tasks, and then later 99 of course, so I might have to play a bit more over this coming week. Next up I got 95 Smithing to match my Mining:

95Smithing_zps545ebd32.png

And picked up the next level of boosts for burial armour, just because I could. I don't even care, that's how reckless I am.

BuddingStudentJustCause_zps2068430a.png

And, scroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooll pieces:

StrengthScrimshawScroll03_zpsf65825d2.png

Done with the Strength scrimshaw, woo!

RangedScrimshawScroll01_zpsd4dc764b.png

Started on the Ranged one now.

What do we always say? DON'T. GET. ELIMINATED! Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Though less than the previous weeks, I've still got a lot of Divination levels. And I'm very close to yet another, but too lazy to go and get it. Heh. I missed the screenshot of 52 thanks to my mum calling me just as I got it. THANKS MUM. But yeah, here's them boring screenshots.

Also got a shiny new Dungeoneering level. Only 12 to go!

108Dungeoneering_zps72667f6c.png

And a shiny new Hunter level. Only two to go! I think I could power through this quite easily. If I find the motivation to hunt, I've got 70 recharge gems and a couple of spare blank pendants. I've already used my prized ones up with this one though. Plus after that I've got a million and one clover necklaces, though it's only a tiny boost, it's something.

97Hunter_zps28e1293c.png

And, a scroll piece to top it off.

StrengthScrimshawScroll02_zpsc8907f44.png

And that's all for this week. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Aww yeah.

Oh yeah, still pretty average, but I still love new skills.

And, of course:

MagicScrimshawScroll04_zps7b9b6c9f.png

Last of the Magic Scrimshaw scroll pieces! Woo!

And first of the Strength:

StrengthScrimshawScroll01_zps3c36b3c1.png

And that's all for this week. Then I was sad 'cause I missed the 51 Divination screenshot, thanks a lot mum, callin' me and stuff. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

93: Daxination.

Ooooo baby. 'Bout time, Jagex. Divination is here, and though it doesn't seem like much so far, we'll see how it goes. It has indeed given me some motivation to play RS, which I haven't had in a long time, though, which is awesome. Gotta get my money's worth. Unfortunately, they released it right in the middle of the week in which my first two proper assignments for this session of uni are due in. So I've been kinda ignoring them for a while, which is kinda bad. And I'm kinda doing that right now, writing this blog entry. Now for my gains for the past week:

Past that, however, I got a Mining level, thanks to BoL increased exp rates on the Mining exp.

95Mining_zps9578898a.png

Ah, I remember when I got effigies. Finally, of course, scroll pieces, only one left for the full Magic Scrimshaw scroll.

MagicScrimshawScroll03_zpsd80e0164.png

And that's all, I better go do something a little more productive, maybe after a couple more Divination levels... No. Bad Dax! Back to uni! Catch you next time, ~Dax.

92: The Dax of Chivalry.

'Bout time, Jagex. I needed me some good questin'. And good questin' it was. Amazingly excellent soundtrack, excellent atmosphere, pretty dang good story and a very enjoyable experience.

TheDeathofChivalry_zps36aac418.png

Fairly short, but awesome on the whole. And I got a little lucky with my reward spins and got a nice little sword.

LuckyBandosGodsword_zpsb23d1700.png

Thought after I kept it that I might have changed it for cash and bought a real one, but eh, 2M ain't too much when I have a bunch around anyway. Nice for Fashionscape.

96Hunter_zps01f33d43.png

Got me a nice shiny Hunter level, too.

And some delicious scroll pieces. Finished the Elements scroll and made a bunch of those scrimshaws, making a nice little sum.

ElementsScroll03_zps1bb65aa7.pngElementsScroll04_zps5b697767.png

And that's all for now, catch you next time, ~Dax.

And after a long absence, I have returned. One week I had nothing, one week I forgot, and the third, someone destroyed my houses' internet connection so I was without internet for around three days. I didn't play much RS at all over these few weeks, as I'm actually getting a reasonable amount of work these days. I was actually hoping for Divination to come out this week, but I knew that was unlikely. I don't know if I'll have the same reaction for Divination as I have with other new skills, as I'll likely be heading to 99 as soon as I can. Anyway, onto to the small amount of stuff I've done over these few weeks.

First of all, full Seasinger!

FullSeasinger_zps72e38ae0.png

Two of three superior sets complete!

Next up, 107 Dungeoneering, the only level I've gotten. Slowly and surely increasing this one. I'll get 120 one day!

107Dungeoneering_zpsd8ebfbd4.png

And finally:

RocktailSoupScroll01_zps4bf6d2fa.png

RocktailSoupScroll02_zps91ffb7ea.png

RocktailSoupScroll03_zps7e271c89.png

RocktailSoupScroll04_zps511f52a0.png

That's all of the Rocktail soup scrolls done. I used all 250 spice up and made around 1M or so, now to build that up again over time. Yay!

Didn't know what Scrimshaw to get first, and I remember hearing the Elements one some time once, so I started working on that.

ElementScrimshawScroll01_zps50004b29.png

ElementScrimshawScroll02_zps6da3fa3d.png

And that's all for now. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Dux_zps6c66d1b5.png

First of all, yes, you are.

Less importantly, but still incredibly important, SCROLL PIECES.

DeathLotusHelmScroll02_zps56639541.png

DeathLotusHelmScroll03_zps46a43778.png

DeathLotusHelmScroll04_zps3b53a297.png

That's all for armour piece scrolls, for now. I'll move onto Rocktail soup to use up my spices, then I'll work on scrimshaws.

Used up some chi for these,

SeasingerRobeBottoms_zps24072aaa.png

And some lacquer for these!

DeathLotusLegs_zps38f06baa.png

I also got a few levels these past two weeks, but who cares 'bout them?

106Dungeoneering_zpsef6a0ea7.png

94Ranged_zps0c12cb2f.png

95Hunter_zps2a61e297.png

And that's all. Oh, I also put a bug on your pillow. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

ChaoticStaff_zpsc78e34c7.png

First of all this week, here I am wielding my brand new Chaotic Staff, which the Orphanage of Torvaed Children donated to me for being so cool. Good thing they're not releasing new higher-level magic gear any time soon! Heh. Hehe. Hmm. Oh well. I'm not gonna be able to afford it anyway, so I don't caaaaare!

Pretty reasonable week this week, got a couple of levels and such, as per usual. Here's a couple for ya:

96Magic_zps4e589a0a.png

96 Magic, awesome, slowly getting there. Not sure when I'll do it, but it's going somewhere.

105Dungeoneering_zpsd93b6eda.png

105 Dungeoneering, also steadily raising. I've had a bunch of daily-reset tokens from SoF for ages, so I took on this daily to use them up. On a somewhat related note, I've fought the Hope Devourer three times now and never gotten his music track. What's up with that? I want to delete it from my list.

And for those scroll-piece fans, don't you worry, I've got some:

DeathLotusLegsScroll04_zpsfad87297.png

That's the last one for the Lotus Legs. Awesome.

DeathLotusHelmScroll01_zps0ed69e04.png

First of the helm. Also awesome.

And that's it again. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

TeachingNexaLessonBoutRespect_zps2cc6ccec.png

First and foremost, here I am soloing Nex unarmed. From this kill I acquired no less that 69 Torva Platebodies, all of which I donated to an orphanage.

I'll start up with a nice little level. 104 Dungeoneering. Excellent. 16 to go! Woo!

104Dungeoneering_zpsef9e2aa6.png

Next up, I'll give you some scrolls, because I know you love them. First, the final Death Lotus Body Scroll. Aww yeah.

DeathLotusBodyScroll04_zps39b7df16.png

And I had some spare Lacquer lying around, so I thought I'd make it into a body.

DeathLotusBody_zpsa0598076.png

And I'm already on the way to Death Lotus Legs. Already on three of four scrolls, with the fourth on the way, or so I hope.

DeathLotusLegsScroll01_zps47903b3d.png

DeathLotusLegsScroll02_zpsa91e5a3c.png

DeathLotusLegsScroll03_zps8d382b55.png

And here it is, the greatest thing that's happened in some time, finally finished Livid Farm.

850000Produce_zpsf3524e5b.png

And some spell unlocks.

VengeanceGroup_zpsdd27aecb.png

TeleporttoTrollheim_zps40f0fb79.png

TeleportGrouptoTrollheim_zps56418080.png

BorrowedPower_zpsfbb30e9e.png

And that's it! The final countdown is now. Only skills and Fight Kiln to go. So excited. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

87: Taskmaster Once Again.

Aww yeah. Finished off Dominion Tower! And you know what that means!

Marker4_zps0912b731.png

EliteTasksComplete01_zps0bb2fa8e.png

EliteTasksComplete02_zps2052da53.png

And the final Dominion marker, which is cool to see.

FinalDominionMarker_zps51f44b75.png

Got one other level this week, 94 Mining. Slowly and steadily rising.

94Mining_zps03ce1665.png

And don't you worry, guys, I'm still getting those scroll pieces I know you love:

DeathLotusBodyScroll01_zpsb1f52ec2.png

DeathLotusBodyScroll02_zps612c60c3.png

DeathLotusBodyScroll03_zps835f2261.png

And that's all for this week, I'm going to sleep. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Skipped a week as I had one thing to show for it, a scroll piece, so I worked hard and got a whole bunch more! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay scroll pieces!

SeasingerLegsScroll03_zps7dc1981d.png

SeasingerHoodScroll03_zps10548e10.png

SeasingerHoodScroll04_zps96190db2.png

Now I've got to get the chi to finish my set, and work on getting Death Lotus scroll pieces.

Also got some levels, but they're boring:

94Smithing_zps67a51864.png

Smithing! Yay! Might be on the list for my next 99, but I'll have to mine a lot to bring that up to the level. Not getting one without the other.

95Magic_zps0373e1fa.png

Next up, Magic, oh baby, fire surge. Need to head up to da L-F to get dem last spellz, bro.

103Dungeoneering_zpsdbf8d4e2.png

And finally, Dungeoneering. Gonna get 120 one of these days. Woo!

And that's all. I have an exam to study for. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Yeah, I don't even like the movie that much, I just really like the title.

Little bit of cool stuff this week, like me finally getting Tetsu Legs! Woo!

TetsuLegs_zps6f01d720.png

Wait. What's that? I got the helm as well!? Yes I did, Other Dax, yes I did.

FullTetsu_zps32b23c95.png

Full Tetsu is sexy. But Dax, we ask, how did you get that Plate you needed? Simple, this!

Hyu-JiComplete_zpsee6a583a.png

And finally, on the Ports note, I got another scroll piece:

SeasingerLegsScroll02_zps47cd80b4.png

Awesome stuff. I also acquired a few levels, Hunting all those Charm Sprites last week landed me nice and close to a level there, so with lamps and a little more training, I pushed myself to another level, 94!

94Hunter_zps61c4fb9a.png

Lastly, but not least importantly, 102 Dungeoneering. 118.5k free exp a day is awesome. I love it.

102Dungeoneering_zps426dc792.png

Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Thought I'd better get rid of one of the easier Completionist goals, and the most recent addition. 1,000 Charm Sprites. Took me a couple of days, but on the whole, very easy, and a nice chunk of exp.

1000CharmSprites_zpsd21081a7.png

Next up, I bought another thing from Dungeoneering. The Scroll of Efficiency. I plan to get 99 Smithing soon, and if I never do Warbands, I'll save a little with this, and I have a bunch of tokens I'll never use anyway, so, win-win.

ScrollofEfficiency_zpsdc7f9b7d.png

Finally, another scroll piece.

SeasingerLegsScroll01_zpsa964ce27.png

Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Dang TIF going down, made me do two in one. I've been getting a reasonable chunk of work recently, and I've also had a bunch of uni to do as well, so I haven't had much motivation or need to play RS, so I've done quite little (And I should really be finishing up my webpage for an assignment due Friday, but eeeeh). A reasonable chunk of time playing lately has been spent at the Livid Farm, trying to use up my Paws before they lose their power, which is getting very close, and so, I've unlocked yet another spell, and killed off another large portion of what I'm finding to be the most monotonous and un-likeable things about my journey to Completionist.

DisruptionShield_zpsa5bd6415.png

Also been doing a dungeon a day for my daily challenge (130K Dungeoneering exp for 15 minutes at the most each day? Yes please), and so the exp's been stacking up, and here's 101!

101Dungeoneering_zpsaab8e404.png

And with all those dungeons, comes all those tokens, I decided to buy the only prayer I need to buy for Completionist these days, Rapid Renewal, even though I'll never use it.

ScrollofRenewal_zps420d6c54.png

And here come the Ports, lots of stuff here over the past couple of weeks. Finished off the scroll for the Seasinger Robe Top:

SeasingerTopScroll03_zpse89f6113.png

[imagine one for the fourth scroll piece here, I didn't think and skipped past it]

And finished one of the sets of Trio Voyages! Woo!

QuinStorylineComplete_zps825fd997.png

Quin is dead, Hubbub, Quin is dead! Not the one I most wanted, but still awesome, and the fifty Chi helped out this little thing:

SeasingerRobeTop_zpsdbd42374.png

Now we wait for the other Trio to re-appear, I failed my last attempt. :c Anyway, that's all for these two weeks. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

82: 100.

Very little this week. I got this with only three hours left in the week. 100 Dungeoneering! Huzzah!

100Dungeoneering_zps2fca0cf3.png

And the second scroll for the Seasinger Robe Top.

SeasingerTopScroll02_zps5d1de8e5.png

And that's all for this very boring week. Sorry I didn't have any more. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

This week sorta got out of hand, no idea how it happened, but I got a lot of stuff done, and I'm glad. First thing's first, and the thing from this week I'm most happy about is 99 Dungeoneering. Woo! Slowly working up the tokens to buy the only Prayer (The only reward I need to buy at the moment) I need for Completionist.

99Dungeoneering01_zpsfba411c0.png99Dungeoneering02_zps0b0b315c.png

Next up, a couple of levels. Happy about both of these, and they both sat around with very little exp to the next level for a long while. First, Magic:

94Magic_zps05548203.png

Yay Vengeance and Ice Barrage! Next is Fire Surge, also looking forward to that, as I actually use the normal spellbook. Next up was Hunter:

93Hunter_zps3237e745.png

Which I'm happy to see steadily rising.

Next up, the Shambling Lair. I thiiink that may be all 'secret' islands unlocked, which is awesome. Hope to see more Oxheads join my crew, got one straight up, but that's it so far.

ShamblingLair_zpsaa48466f.png

And finally, something I'm super happy about, two more Livid Farm spells. I need to use up my Hati Paws soon, so I've been spending a lot of time at the Livid Farm, acquiring two more spells I'll never use!

SpiritualiseFood_zps9cc3be2a.png

MakeLeather_zpsfe509156.png

Thanks to Supernatural for this level, my recent TV show watching pursuit.

Going away for a couple of days tomorrow, so there might not be much next week, but still, catch you next time, ~Dax.
