They've just noticed this? I don't think set vs. component prices have ever been the same. Congratulations once again on not having any freaking clue about how your own economy works, Jagex. <_< Someone enlighten me to the scamming that was going on, not sure if I understand this. The price of sets and components were not the same (buying components individually =/= buying the set) but where was the scamming? People tricking each other into selling the parts separately and then selling it as a set? Is that considered a scam? That wasn't even the scamming problem that was going on. The problem was that with some barrows sets were 1-2m more as a broken set than fixed and people were scamming doing that. The component way was uncommon.

He is not going to 5b XP. It would actually be interesting to also track the people that have the goal to get 5b Overall XP. What is Jake's ultimate goal on Runescape then? Just curious. 4.99b exp :thumbsup:

Half the stuff on here is hardly relevant to 200m all skills. The other half lacks the quality it used to. It's rare to see the top 15 or even any high experience players with any credibility posting here anymore. The only thing that seems to keep it going are people that claim to think they know a ton about efficiency while boasting a 5-6 digit overall ranking, sub-14m 99s and/or a total level that does not deem their strong opinions to be taken seriously. Before someone starts ranting at me, I'm by no means claiming to be an efficiency poster-boy, but there's people in this thread that need to stop trying to be. Gone are the days when this thread was worth being active in. Not everyone uses this thread just to see who's gaining the most exp, rants, etc. Personally, I enjoy reading stuff about the Top 15 going for 200ms, but I also use this thread to find out about the fastest ways to gain exp in a skill while at the same time modifying it to my own style of playing since I'm not one to freak about ticks.

And to think the most powerful combat style (melee) did the least damage in the video! lol

To the post above let's be honest. Bots and their ability to talk in-game was NEVER good because it was too hard to script auto-responses to anything. Now with bots being completely or partly broken, it's even worse.

Because people's opinions get thrown around and ever since Suomi's joke. Which then led to top 15s getting donated to irl to buy squeals which is "rwt." This theoretically allowing people to RWT because if sued they can show the fact Jagex is breaking their own rule (the way they worded it makes it so they can't sell in-game pixels for real cash too) thus allowing the case to be dropped/rwt'er wins. In turn this caused people to start confessing they sell gold and here we are. :rolleyes: On that note... Grats on 200m hp exp Suomi. :thumbsup:

Who else does this? There was actually a leaked discussion from HLF of people planning to find Jake's paypal so they could donate mass amounts of money and have him beat Suomi.

Whoa. This will make 10-15min larges possible and quite easy for good teams. It allows all members of the party to go full speed in every direction without having to take the time to gate every door.

So new discussion... Will being able to buy squeals have a drastic short/long term effect on the top 15 based on who buys them and who doesn't? Washing dishes you'd be lucky to get more than minimum wage. Assuming that, you would need to work 2,207 hours or 55.2 weeks (working 40 hrs a week) to make $16,000. If you worked 40 hours a week for just over a year, you'd fall way behind in exp in other skills. Edit: On another note... Do you think some top players may start hinting towards donations via companies like paypal in order to buy squeal spins for exp? I realize they say they don't ask for gp donations, but obviously when they post a video of getting donated to and so on it's being hinted they want them.

The awkward moment when Jagex realizes they just provided a loophole for goldfarmers to use when jagex tries to sue them. Jagex states something along the lines of "Trading rs items for real cash is against the rules." Yet that is exactly what they're doing. All a goldfarming company would have to do is provide evidence of the rule, jagex breaking that themselves and boom, case is over.

If you join Tirexor's cc and ask about joining No Xp Waste I'm sure you'd get in if your stat sig is accurate. It's a skilling clan that does do some skilling events and pvm, but it's not mandatory. Requirements are 1900+ total, 7 99s or 2 200m's. Now for the part you'd want to know... Citadel is tier 4 and it is being worked on weekly to get tier 7.

I don't have dreadnips, but Glacor kills are already extremely fast with Fire blast w/ soa/polypore/rapier + steel titan for the little ones that I see no point in even having to use them.

Redtunnel maxed as a combat 3 a few days ago, not 120 dung though. :P He has 200m WC and his current goal is probably 200m cook to keep up with the studies and then 120 dg and 200m RC with nature and law tiaras. I think he has 800k-1m GOP tokens already. Yeah, he won't be doing 200m Rc with tiara's by the way. :P At the moment there are 3 maxed level 3 skillers include 120 Dg/99 Slayer (Magnus (aka Pure Kq Pax), A Log Burner and Jjussi). Jjussi will be Cooking/Firemaking/Woodcutting the next time. Redtunnel is maxed except 120 Dungeoneering (102), and Beta Sun is maxed except Slayer (83). If someone wants the level 3 skillerlist: Level 3 highscore. Change 'Display' to 'overall'. They're last updated like 1 week ago or something. :) How much exp/hr would he be getting using the tabs for making laws/natures tiaras? What is the exp/hr compared to ZMI if you don't have alter tabs? (Which tiara is fastest exp/hr in this comparison?)

Can you ask him to check and see if you can use (or) or (sp) kits on it? If not its gonna be rather pointless to get since it will just take up bank space while normal helm can go into costume room. or better yet, can you still alch lucky items?

Yes he was, but jagex went with a pretty decent strategy. They knew people were going to recode their bots in order to beat the bot nuke. So when Jacmob took the program to runefest, they offered him the job. Why? Because if they gave him the job, they knew that the program would never go live with the creator on their side. It's good strategy. On that note, Jacmob doesn't really deserve the job because it wasn't ONLY him who created the program. However he was the "organizer" of all the information, coding, etc so without him the other programmers are lost which is why they have not gone out and created the new client themselves.
