You need to own the rare to be able to use it as an override. Then why wouldn't you just wear the rare since cosmetics can't be seen in pvp areas...?

Personally I feel that even though you HAVE to agree to that term and condition to play the game, it's still an invasion of our privacy. But none the less you run into people getting worried about programs they have on their computers. AHK scripts, autotypers (which Jagex stated is "ok" for clan use as long as it's not crazy spam), as well as programs such as autoswitchers which may not be legal on rs, but is used VERY often in other games. Are we going to be at risk of getting banned just because these programs are on our computer? Who is Jagex to say they're being used for THEIR game. I think they are just asking for trouble having access to programs we have on our computer just because of the fact they will never be 100% sure what that program is used for. ** Also, why the hell do they need access to our microphones and webcams? That's the same thing as wiretapping and basically like ratting our computers. I could easily see this being a justifiable reason to take them to court. (For "wiretapping")

So I wonder if they will reset the account along with the 2 warnings. Otherwise I could see people pushing the bot busters buttons up to the two strikes. On a side note, imagine if you're not botting and you got pointed at... I would shit a brick. lol

I just wanted to point something out in the "Welcome to Pandora" article. The reason Jagex mods believe that only P2P clans are always in their citadel is because RSB clans are very active in citadel/clan wars where as most known clans would rather stick to the wilderness. Since J mods really only care about their own forums the most, that's where they get the majority of their opinions and facts.

As far as I know, Jagex has only ever said once how much they confiscate from RWTers in their Jagex versus RWT DevDiary. I don't know the exact inflation rate, but I'd say since GP is 1/10th the price it was back in 06, your estimate in the low trillions per year is close. Though, that is what Jagex finds and bans, much more gets through. ~$4.95/mil? I don't think it was ever that much, but then again all I did was pk East drags back then. lol

Is it me, or does this sound like an employee sarcastically selling a product he knows is horrible. In other words, his bosses tell him to try to push SOF in some of his posts despite his not wanting to do that. So, the best way to remove a bad rule or order is to take that rule or order to the extreme. Think of the movie Office Space, instead of flipping off the boss when he keeps suggesting you wear more flair, just wear hundreds of flairs. So if the bosses tell you to push SoF, do it in every post dripping with an unhealthy dose of sarcasm. PS: Anyone notice the "Don't show me this again" has changed to "Don't show me this for five days"? Seriously? A good product can sell itself without false excitement. I would not be surprised if IVP told Jagex to start having their employees advertise it or else be layed off/fired. We've seen Jmods who disagree with the update and now suddenly a bunch of them are telling us to buy spins.

Seeing this come up above brings forward a very good question. Does Tip.it have embedding blocked from image uploaders other than EXTREMELY common ones (imgur, photobucket, etc). If not, it's very easy to go onto a thread and post pictures from uncommon/slightly changed image hosts (such as one you created yourself) in which everyone who loads the page that picture is on (even if it's just the forum thread) "viewed" it so their IP shows up if the picture is tracking ips of those who viewed it. I know a lot of clan sites have upgraded their forums to only allow certain hosts, but does tif do that?

There's also other way around like I used in my torstol spreadsheet. Less efort for them to only afk and time 60mins rather than look at every attempt of hitting (but less accurate). I realize this is a different fansite forum, but this is the thread where everyone is giving their information based on 20 minute or hour intervals. Combat on Steroids Testing I don't see anything there beside 5min testings. Ridicolous, I would say. Some of the calculations are being done in 5 minute intervals for 1 hour to see how the BGS effects the rate of exp.

Why would I not trust what I'm testing myself also? The rates they have posted are correct (however in the dom. sword I may have miscalculated so further testing is being done.)

Just train att/str first while using the titan. When att/str is done, switch to def and still using titan. Assuming you will leave same xp left in Att/str/def after slayer is done. However, through more testing between about 5 people, we're getting anywhere from 200-300k exp/hr depending on gear, amount of scrolls used, bgs hits, etc. 70k exp can make a big difference in the long run.

I'm not sure if this will have an impact on people's times, but there's currently people testing a boss at dominion tower to gain 200-300k attack, strength or defense exp per hour which is much more than monkey skeletons. Granted it would take away experience for slayer/summoning/range/effigies, but if they no longer needed those, it would cut a good amount of time from the current given.

Ddos protected routers don't exist no matter what the companies say. It would be just as effective as having a bucket of water ready to dump on your router when it gets fried. :rolleyes:

Being in top 5 p2p/f2p/single/multi clans for the past 7 years, ddosing has been getting increasingly worse. If your IP is static, they could have had it for MONTHS and checked for your name on a list of ips and went from there. If your ip is dynamic, there's a good possibility you clicked to view a website, picture, whatever and they got your IP (It's extremely simple to get someone's IP). As for taking action against it? Impossible. Having a botnet/shelling people is illegal, but in no way will they EVER get caught unless they do it to a government website and the government traces the packet-ed data. Even if you understand how to trace where packets came from, you would still need to contact the government and convince them they need to get a warrant and search someone's computer for a botnet/shells. However, this will never happen for the most part. The best thing to do is to change your ip daily if it's dynamic (by unplugging your router, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in). If it's static call your ISP and get them to change it to a dynamic IP. If they say they can't, keep on their ass for however long it takes until they do (threaten to change providers because you're disappointed in their service). If worse comes to worse, just stop staking.
