Yes its likely to be the bookies that were involved, though. My guess is that its a crazy fan that didn't like Pakistan losing. Again, this is a speculation. I don't see a fan murdering a coach and getting away with it since he's not skilled with it and hasn't made plans on how to kill him. 24 hours is a very small time for someone to plan a murder and carry it out so professionally.

Don't think a fan would do that. Probably would've been caught had it been a fan. It is definitely connected to the underworld of cricket, i.e. bookies. Edit: Its actually been confirmed that it was 2 people or more that were involved. Clearly an organized crime.

It would've happened sooner or later. Rather retire gracefully than forcefully.

In the game of cricket, playing at home and playing away can make a huge difference and can give one team massive advantage and the other massive disadvantage. The difference is so much that it can totally turn the game in the favour of one certain team. Crowd can make a little difference, but it's the conditions of the pitch and overheard pitch that makes the most difference. People that follow international cricket will probably agree with me.
