Its a possibility. I cant see a very good way of implementing it but who knows? Edit : If the above is right, then it would make sense. But seeing how other games classify "hunters" as having pets and such, I couldn't see pets being implemented into RS.

Anyways, IMO it's more efficient to kill faster and give the monster less time to attack you in general, rather than letting it get more hits in and more possible damage done to you. So offense is my choice!

About how many consecutive runs can you complete? It's wierd seeing so many people doing so many runs, and I still bank after each run. I guess I'm noob...

Yer I kinda noticed today that flail is quite slow for Karil, even mage dart goes faster so I'll prolly take whip again next time. With 86 attack and super attack pot I hit Karil just fine. Only problem I have is Ahrim and his stupid debuffs #-o

Holy poop, 50 trips?! I didn't know that was possible, lol. And doesn't Dharok do a number on you if you don't pray against him? I don't think Ahrim's robes can hold up against him very well. NOPE hes frozen and if you know how to sidestep(like me and him) you dont need prayer at all (except for karil for me). EDIT: ROW....ppl just wear it cuz they are superstitious. I dont think it works, maybe he does :shock: Where can I learn the art of side-stepping?

I enjoyed reading everyones opinions and setups very much. I have decided that I am going to change to slayer dart, after realizing i was 6 xp from 55 slayer :oops: . I know, I'm pathetic :P

What is the fastest way possible to level contruction from level 1 to whatever I need for the canifis portal and an altar to recharge my prayer? And what level would that be? Thanks!

Higher kill count helps to gain more runes, which in turn compensates for the runes you used in killing the brothers (less economic damage to your bank :P ). I'm pretty sure that Kill Count doesn't affect items, but I go for anywhere between 10-50 when I am browsing the web or forums, etc.

Is the guthans just to heal in the tunnels and get easy kill count? Other than that, I see no point in taking Guthans if you're praying against the brothers. Edit: That may have come out a little offensive, but know that I mean no offence in ANY way. :D

I either bank every run, or take out Ahrim before I bank, so as not to deal with debuffs.

I prefer to get in Ahrim's face with my big, long, whip, hehe. :P Plus, I use super attack to melee kharil, and i usually have a lot of the boost leftover for Ahrim.

Hey everyone, I was just on my way to the barrows today (after getting wisdom teeth pulled this morning so I can play for a while hehe), and I thought to myself, "Is this the best setup possible?" I made this thread for you tipiters to post your favorite barrows slaying setup, and maybe give me a few pointers on mine? Well, here is mine, I hope you enjoy: The 2:1 Law/blood ratio is to teleport back to Canifis, as I am using Ancient Magicks. The spell I use is Ice Rush, hits pretty hard and not TOO expensive. :mrgreen: The only things I think I can improve on is the cape, by getting fire cape, and Mage's Book if it lowers in price. Don't ask about the 13 Rune Arrows, I think it's my good luck charm. (Sorry if this has been posted before, I searched and couldn't find anything like it.) Let's see your setup!

using whip+initiates armor or monks robes and using your prayers is much more efficient, no repair costs. plus, your prayer is restored after each round.
