I wish I knew which pmod it was that did it to me because right after I was able to talk again I started telling some people at the G.E. that I had been dicing with before what happened. There happened to be another pmod standing around and she was shocked to hear that it happened. She asked if I knew who it was, I told her I didn't but directed her to the fc that the guys who were threatening me were from. She said she'd do what she could to get that pmod taken care of. It's nice to see that not everyone in the game is awful to eachother. I hope she is able to do something about it (the damn fc needs to be shut down for abusing the powers of pmods, and the pmod needs to be permanently banned for abusing his own powers) not like that will happen though.

FFFUUUU- So after hosting dice games yesterday I logged in today to host some more. I was instantly harrassed by some ranked members of a large dicing clan who kept calling me a scammer and telling people to go to their friends chat rather than mine. No one would dice with me all day. I was finally able to do a bit of dicing not to long ago (like an hour ago) and after winning a few mil, guess who shows up. Those [wagon] from the big dicing clan (I won't name any names as it is against the rules, but this is BS what happened next). They start threatening me about having p mods in their clan who will "take care of me". I tell them to stop harrassing me, and minutes later: Great.... No dicing for two days. Yes, I am mad. Guess I'll boss hunt for two days and make money that way. <_< Jagex de-mods Jiblix for showing how the game really is (bots everywhere) and saying that Jagex doesn't deserve the Golden Gnome award or whatever award it is, but they let [bleep]s like the one who muted me for being competition to them be mods. Edit: Meh, I'm going to be very immature about this mute and if anyone tries talking to me in game, I'll only respond with the quickchat sequence "gcg7" - "This is not a dating site." Edit2: Mute was lifted about a bit over an hour after being issued. I am less mad than before, but still irritated that it will probably happen again when I start hosting my game again.

Ah yes, stupid me. I forgot to mention I'm 99 summoning too lol. DKs might be an option, but I remember the one time I tried to go there was last year, and the instant I got down the ladder, I got owned and had to tele out instantly. I don't remeber what protection prayer I was using or what gear, I just know that I nearly died lol.

I've run into some issues making money today. Yesterday I managed to make 50-60M hosting dicing games. Today I logged in to do some more dicing and there was a bit of an issue (not really a bit of an issue, a big issue). I entered my friend chat where I host my dicing games and to my surprise there were people in there already. I didn't know these people and they immediately hopped to my world. I was dicing in edgeville and they were standing there too when they got to my world. As I was advertising my game, they all stood around calling me a scammer and saying I wasn't legit (turns out they're from some dicing clan where ranks are sold for a lot of money and I was "infringing on their business"). They told everyone to go to their friend chat and after hopping worlds multiple times and trying to find customers for over an hour, I hadn't found a single person willing to dice with me. So I guess I'm done dicing cause these [bleep]s won't leave me alone. I've tried moving to hosting by the G.E. but when they don't find me at edgeville, they come searching through the G.E. to find me. I'm not sure of any other popular places to dice... Onto the reason I started this topic though. Since I can't dice anymore, and staking hasn't proved to well today, I guess I'm left with boss hunting. What would be the best boss for me to fight with the following supplies (note:I have a very laggy internet and lose connection 3-5 times a day while playing, but I think I can handle most bosses) (the ring is Berserker ring (i)) Anything there can be sold and replaced with other gear. The cash will probably be spent on sara brews and super restores if needed. I also have about 5k spec restore potions if they'll be useful. My skills that will be useful for boss hunting are: 99 attack, strength, defence, HP, ranged, mage, prayer, and herblore.

You gotta do the Herblore Habitat. You need to farm Ugune herbs and mix them into a juju vial then put a marble vine (also aquired from Herblore Habitat) into the vial to make a juju farming potion.

Torstols with jujus and only 4 patches was able to make me 3-5M a day. If I'd had 5 patches and was more focused on it (a lot of times they'd be fully grown and I'd be off doing something else and forget about them) I probably could have made 5-8M a day.

I don't recall quitting every time I get cleaned. I may have done it once (not that I remember though) but usually I just [bleep] and moan about it for a day or two, then make a few mil, stake, get cleaned, [bleep] and moan, and keep repeating the process for about a week until I stop staking for a while. However, I'm back to hosting my dice game for now.

I don't know if that's a good idea. I just lost a 4.5M and a 17M. My luck is fading fast. And this is lliterally everything I have. The rest of my bank is just random junk to fill it up for ZMI rcing.

It feels really good to be back over 100M again. I think I should probably quit while I'm ahead and just enjoy that I could knock out a few buyables right now.

You hit "Sign me up!" right? Surely Jagex's in game plea for money is working.

Today has been GREAT. Started the day off with about 12M and farmed torstols for a good portion of the day. Cashed out my torstols and had 16M. I started hosting a dice game and made my way to 64M quite quickly (I posted the pic of 53M but continued dicing for a while). I took my 64M to the duel arena about 30 minutes ago (I know, I'm addicted to staking). I had some good luck this time though, I won 10 of 12 fights and was left with this: 12M -> 98M today. :thumbup:

One of the biggest reasons I rarely play now and am playing better games. :thumbdown: This. The value of money is extremely low, and there's no incentive to make money. What would I do with it if I grinded something to make money? Spend it on resources to grind skills? Everything revolves around a grind, and so in the end it all seems pointless. That realization was what killed my interest in the game. This. There is no incentive as a high level to go on and play (unless you have the urge to max out skills). A new GWD type thing needs to be released. High level combat areas with high risk/reward are a constant must. I hope someday SOON they realize this, because most updates lately are geared towards training skill faster. I don't understand how THEY don't understand the need for high level repeatable content. People in this game like killing challenging things over and over. Look at corp beast. Full teams still go there because it's a great risk/reward piece of content. Meh. They gotta wake up. Not even a year after Nex was released and we already see "We need a new GWD boss".

I think I got pretty lucky, the highest bet was 10M (two people did 10M bets, both lost (I only let them bet 10M after I was up to 20m+ cash pile)). One guy bet 1M and lost, 2M and lost, 5M and lost, then 10M and lost. He then stood by me calling me a scammer and no one else would trade me for about 5 minutes so I hopped worlds. Most people bet like 100k-2M, but I had a lot of low levels who would bet 10-50k at a time. (I decided I wouldn't be like all the other people and have a minimum bet, that way I could ensure that anyone who wanted to dice got the chance to do so).

Buyable skills shouldn't be too hard to take care of if I keep hosting the dice game lol. 2 or 3 days of farming torstols turned my 6M bank into 16M, then about half an hour of hosting the dice game turned my 16M into:

What pisses me off: Took me 11 years to amass 110m bank. some twit just got 800M from a pair of dice. This game is [bleep]ED since that stupid dicing crap came out. cant even make a earning off slayer anymore :( Speaking of dice: After farming torstols for 2 or 3 days I managed to turn my bank from 6M to 16M. I took that 16M and went to the G.E. with a dice bag. I started hosting a dice game (55 x 2) and using my own friends chat, not even one of the popular ones. In about 25 minutes this is my cash pile: There are a few annoying things about hosting a dicing game though. There are a lot of noobs who will stand by you calling you a scammer cause they're mad that they lost money to you. Then there are the noobs who decline on the second trade screen and think you are stupid enough to think they accepted. When you tell them that they declined the trade, they start screaming at your for "scamming" them. :rolleyes:

He joined 10 minutes ago and the first thing he posts is a link in General Discussion. How did you not think something phishy was going on? No virus here.. Why people distrust others so much. People distrust others so much because just about every single day we get multiple topics in GD created by a new user who joined 2-10 minutes before posting the topic. About 90% of the time the topic will have a link to a phishing site. That's why I never click any links that people post. If they couldn't bother to actually post the picture rather than the link, or couldn't bother to copy and paste the article in quote tags, then it isn't so important that I need to view it.

When somebody says "X is the worst thing ever", and somebody doesn't agree, people tend to defend their views. Especially when the reasons behind somebody saying "X is the worst thing ever" aren't really backed up. You want to share your opinion, and that's fine. But expect people who disagree with you to state their points. Who knows, we might both agree or learn something from each other. I don't really see us coming to an agreement. I hate quests because of the fact that I've never had any amount of fun when doing a quest, but you seem like you enjoy quests, so I just don't see a middle ground where we could agree with eachother.

That's quite an oversimplification, not to speak of the false generalization. I could say that no game is fun because all you do is press buttons A B and C in different sequences, and that wouldn't be true because there are other factors at play. Plus, it's simply not true for a great majority of the quests available. There's more meat to it than simply running from point A to point B and fetching items (With the obvious exception of one small favour). I'm not sure where you're trying to go with this. All I was saying was that in MY opinoin, quests are absolutely no fun and the worst part of the game. I don't know why you felt the need to let me know that most people think quests are good and fun. That's their opinion, not mine. Arguing over opinions is pointless. Most of the time, you aren't going to sway another person's personal feelings on something, especially when that something is the subject of what you enjoy doing and find fun. Edit: @Ultra: That's cool, but it still doesn't change the fact that I despise questing but find skilling and boss hunting to be enjoyable. Personal opinions, you aren't likely to change them.

There is a general agreement between level-headed gamers that Runescape has some of the best, if not the best, quests out of any MMO. This, coming from people that dislike Runescape with a passion. Quests are quite literally, the only pieces of content that are not pure grind in this game. They are the meat of the game, the environment that wraps everything. I couldn't care less what other people think about quests, I find them annoying as hell and haven't done a single quest that was enjoyable. Most quests go about like this: Talk to NPC A, he tells you to go talk to NPC B. NPC B tells you to go grab/fix something for him. You do what he asks and report back to him, he tells you to take a message to NPC A. NPC A is happy for getting the message and now tells you to take a message to NPC B. I don't know why but running back and forth between a few NPCs and doing a few tasks here and there for them is just not fun to me.

You have all those levels and you haven't done Hunt for Red Raktuber? People dislike questing for some reason. Questing is the worst thing ever. I had to do Darkness of Hallowvale today so that I could use the other 3 people for Temple Trekking. I was so annoyed with making my way through the city, even though I did have tip its guide open.

You have to get Zachory Bragg to level 25 for the boots and Pazuzu to level 85 for the gloves. Do you have to do Darkness of Hallowvale to be able to use those two? If so.... :thumbdown: I hate quests and I've looked at the guide for that quest, it looks annoying.

I do the exact opposite of this. I eat salads occasionally, but I hate just about every vegetable there is. I won't eat carrots, peas, broccoli, green beans, onions, cucumbers, and, well just about any other vegetable you can name. They all taste awful. On the other hand, I eat A LOT of junk food. For some reason though, I'm not fat at all. (I really should be, I hardly exercise, spend 10+ hours a day playing RS and other video games, and eat tons of fatty foods) I'm 5'6'' and 137 pounds. I really don't understand how I'm not 200 pounds+ by now lol. Must be all those peanut butter and banana sandwhiches I eat.

Goes for all items reward, as replacements. ;) I see. I have a quick question. Is there an event while Temple Trekking that gives the construction boots and gloves as a drop? (the hat, legs, and body are obtained by getting your people to a high enough level to add up to the required number right?)
