  1. Of slightly off-side to the topic note... Uhm... didn't the Grammar Nazi in that CollegeHumor skit end up killing theirself? ~D. V. "Just trying to double-check here..." Devnull
  2. 23981 Aww... come on, @Arceus, I was expected to plaster those who made a mistake on the number on this thread, all in order to create some silly funnies! :( ~D. V. "meant to maintain the sequence" Devnull
  3. Yup... 514 ~D. V. Devnull
  4. I'd do the same but I am not an intelligent guy and lack the patience to figure it out. haha :) From a converter: 0101110110110010 And then you both got to see my abusive side... <*Mr. DVD smacks 's and @Dropbox's heads together, knocking them both unconscious for a while.*> Where were we? Right... 23983 ~D. V. "I guess this was oncoming." Devnull (p.s.: I see that edit, ... nice try to diffuse my post, but I was still before the refresh!)
  5. 511 That is soooooooooo true! ~D. V. "can't get my brain around the image anyway" Devnull
  6. <*notices the number drop slightly, pulls out a giant hammer, smacks @Alg over the head*> Eat that, evil-lover! 542 ~D. V. "I said I had stuff ready." Devnull
  7. Everyone, cool down! I can see where @Blaze The Movie Fan is going with this. Basically, if Normal Alch gives 40% of in-game gp value, and High-Alch gives 60%, then this Super High Alch that he wants should probably be 80%, in order to avoid devaluing things. Take the Steel PlateBody for example... Normal Alch, Level 21 Magic = 800 gp High Alch, Level 55 Magic = 1200 gp Super High Alch, probably Level 80 Magic = 1600 gp <-- The true suggested addition, at least as I see it, and isn't that bad of an idea. ... and then we should probably stick a higher level requirement (Like the 80 Magic I just noted!), along with a mid-range or high-end quest requirement on it. And don't forget to make the quest completable by F2P'ers. :) Beyond that, please don't try to blow it so far out of proportion. I actually felt the whole time that I used to play RuneScape, except when I was enjoying something with other people (friends/buddies/etc.) in-game, like Jagex was trying to make F2P gameplay a mind-destroying lesson in futility. Let's not pass that feeling further down the line, alright? This idea, if it went through, might finally put the last nail into killing off the illegal RWT industry's function on RuneScape, as players would finally get gp fast enough to be happy and not fall into rule-breaking. :geek: ~D. 9. 101110110110100b = 23988 :) ~D. V. "Enjoy the crazy binary!" Devnull (p.s.: @Dropbox, this post is example 2 of 3 on adding math to posts to avoid running into the Flood Limit so easily.)

  11. @ EVERYONE -- It's actually 45 to 60 seconds wait between posts. Yes, even I have been wishing that @MageUK would install an add-on of some kind that would enable adjusting it on a board-by-board basis. Until then, we're pretty much stuck. :| @ @Dropbox -- You might try posting some form of math by your numbers. It adds a minor extra delay in how soon you post, which should enable you to not hit the Flood Limiter as often. I'll add some examples in my posts on those counting threads today to give you a helpful example on doing that. :) ~D. V. "For now, we must grin-and-bear-it." Devnull
  12. 1000000100b = 516 Thanks... figured it was time to introduce mathematic conversions. :) ~D. V. "And the digits get wilder..." Devnull

  15. Okay... still though, having quotes really is helpful and necessary. Even if they're only single, but with it still accepting double. And it still brings me to think some input somewhere is failing to sanitize the inputs and apply proper translation. :-k ~D. V. "Time to call @MageUK?" Devnull
