3. Uhm... why my name on your post? I'm NOT you. :shame: @Thread -- Jagex should do the same thing 'Dead Frontier' does in-game during initial loading, and provide a "Start" button that prevents all other actions until clicked, as well as auto-protects players who can't see anything yet from being attacked by anything else. That way, everything can have a chance to load without unbalancing RuneScape, and Jagex can even provide proper protection for players who are just logging in, especially in dangerous areas. It could even extend to enabling player stat data to load before the interfaces, just like people have been suggesting. And yes, this would even allow Jagex to throw up a big loading meter and/or message to buy themselves time. They could also go so far as to make sure they don't stupidly bounce the connection until well after you've finally clicked that friendly "Start" button, which would eventually show up on your screen after things on your end thought they had loaded and the black overlay had disappeared from view. Yeah, I know. It means effectively stealing an idea from another game. But, it would be a hell of a lot better than how things are now! :( ~Mr. D. V. "The perfect fix, right?" Devnull (p.s.: Pardon the verbosity... I'm STILL waking up!)
4. Pardon the unintended punchline, but I hope the world doesn't manage to freeze your rear off. 25305 ~D. V. "And have a good day!" Devnull
5. 25309 'No can do' when I need to take it easy on my eyes in the morning. :notalk: Dude, I can't read that text on the Tip.It Theme either. Like I said, use a background color. In fact, have an example... that might have been intentional :P Too late. <*bonks with a frying pan*> ... Should have been '25313' there, dude. :shame: ~Mr. D. V. 8. <*takes a look at 's post*> Dude, I can't read that text on the Tip.It Theme either. Like I said, use a background color. In fact, have an example... 25321 ...done with the code... [background=#af0000]25321[/background]...and therefore renders in a slightly-below-bright red. But, having done this, it is still readable on all themes! :geek: ~D. V. "And that makes things better on everyone's eyes." Devnull (p.s.: Extra Edit by author to correct a small display issue.)

13. Augh! Use a background color next time! #-o My eyes + Tip.It Theme + Your Coloring = YEOWCH!!! 25337 ~D. V. "OW! OW! OW!" Devnull
14. 15 BTW, we should try to keep some form of conversation going in here. :D ~D. V. "...trying to look at the bright side..." Devnull
15. <*The local Djinn turns into a metal can for 24 hours for failing to post a wish.*> I wish application developers would always leave the old interface available as an option whenever they wish to introduce a new one, and always maintain both interfaces such that they can access all the same things in their application without problems. Dropping the work of interface restoration on extension developers, instead of maintaining it on the core application, is way beyond too many levels of wrong. These ribbon-loaded, Chrome-esque, idiotic interfaces offend me severely, and are utter problems to easy usage... At least for me and my "bells and whistles"-enjoying mind, anyway. ~Mr. D. V. "Firefox shouldn't look like Chrome." Devnull
16. Nope. :P I DO NOT!!! I just simply get a little depressed when users play briefly and then disappear. :( @Blaze The Movie Fan, I'll choose you this time to get the point across. -.- ~D. V. "...'nuff said..." Devnull
17. 25348 BTW, how good/bad/other was the last music piece I put up a post link for? :) ~D. V. "Yeah, I'm curious." Devnull
18. 25350 Whoops, sorry. ~D. V. "I didn't realize I was that loud." Devnull
