This guide is for accounts levels 3-40+. If you are a more experienced player, then you should know by now what works for you to gain experience and money, as well as valuable items. Level 3: Cows Cows are a good way to make money as well as train up stats. You can pick up the cowhides they drop and put them in the bank in Varrock, then run back to get another load. When you get lots of cowhides, around 500-1k, sell them to get a lot of money. Level 3: Chickens Chickens are good to sell too, if you collect their feathers. If you are F2P, then you can use them to sell to fishermen, so they can use them to fish with. If you are P2P, then you can use them to make arrows and get your Fletching level up as well. Also, you can use the raw chicken they drop with a nearby range or fire to cook them and get your cooking level up. Level 3: Men/Women These are good ways to get your stats up as well, since they drop bones (doesn't everything else) and a small amount of money. P2P accounts can also use these NPC's to train up their Theiving level a considerable amount. Level 3: Lesser Demons If you are a mage, then a great way to train up your magic level would be to go to the Wizard's Tower. Upstairs is a Lesser Demon that is locked up, which is great target practice for mages-in-training. Eventually, when you get to the level where you can teleport items to you, you could snag a Rune Medium Helmet and sell it on the market for a large amount of money. Level 10: Dark Wizards These NPC's are perfect training for mages, as they fight using magic as well. They can hurt you quickly, though, so be sure to bring some of that chicken you cooked! Level 10: Farmers These NPC's can drop a good amount of money, and if you are a P2P account, you may be able to snag a few seeds and start your Farming skill! You can't find Farmers everywhere, but there are a few in some areas. Level 10: Muggers There is one Mugger located southeast of Draynor Village, southwest of Lumbridge, bordering the ocean. There is also one or two in southeast Varrock near the rune shop. If you walk near him, he should automatically attack you. These give a reasonable amount of money that they have stolen from other victims. Level 20: Delrith If you want to do a quest, then try on the Demon Slayer quest for size. Start it by talking to the Gypsy near the western Varrock bank. Then go find Sir Pyrsin in Varrock Castle. He will tell you that he needs 3 keys to give you the magical sword you need to defeat Delrith: Silverlight. Find the keys here: 1. Talk to Traiborn in the Wizards Tower. He will tell you to collect 25 bones for him. A great spot to get these without fighting is in the cow field. Give him the bones, and he will give you a key. 2. Go to the Varrock castle, and climb the stairs to the northwest to the Captain. Tell him that Delrith is going to be resurrected, and he will give you a key. 3. Get a bucket of water, and stuck to the wall near the range in Varrock Castle is a drain. Examine the drain, and you will notice a key there. Pur the water in the drain to dislodge the key. Go a bit east of the castle and climb down the manhole. Take the west path to a big pile of skeletons, and the key should be near there. Go talk to Sir Pyrsin again, and he will unlock his chest and give you Silverlight. (If you lose it somehow, he will replace it for 500 gp) Go south to the circle of Dark Wizards, and find that they already summoned Delright. Attack Delrith, and with Silverlight, he will weaken. kill him, then say the magical phrase (The correct one is at the very bottom) and he will die. Level 20: Theives These are like Muggers, but just a bit stronger. There are one or two loacted in Port Sarim, and just to the south of Port Sarim, if you are a mage, there are Theives in jail that you can kill. These drop more money than Muggers that they have pickpocketed out of unsuspecting victims pockets. Correct their wrongs and kill them! Level 20: Unicorns There are unicorns scattered around everywhere, for P2P, a good spot is just west of Catherby. For F2P, a good spot is below Varrock. If you are P2P, then collect unicorn horns and sell them, they are worth lots of money, about 500 gp each. Otherwise, they just drop bones. Level 20: Scorpions There are many of these little critters in Al Kharid and the mine just north of it. If you go into the Dwarven mines near Falador, then look out for the King Scorpions, they are vicious. Level 30: Minotaur These can be good experience, and they drop some nice money as well. They offer good experience as well, so training on them is a good thought too. The best place to kill them is in the new update mini-game for F2P accounts, the Stronghold of Security. Level 30: Hill Giants If you are looking for some good money, then get lots of food and buy a brass key. Go just east of the Barbarian village and follow the river up north until you see a house. Use your brass key on the door to get in. Go around and kill Hill Giants and collect big bones. Collect all Law and Nature runes as well. Go back to Varrock if you want to sell them, or you can bury them to greatly increase your prayer. Level 30: Gunthor the Brave In the bar of the Barbarian village is where Gunthor the Brave lies. He is a very powerful barbarian, but he can easily be defeated with food. In the bar, meat and beer lie on the table which you can take for free, so while you are waiting for Gunthor the Brave to appear, replenish your health. Level 40: White Knights In the city of Falador, near the center lies the castle of the White Knights. Here are hundreds of White Knights that are here almost for the sole purpose of protecting Falador. Unfortunately, you have come in their way. They may drop coins, but are mostly for experience purposes. Level 40: King Scorpion In the depths of the Mining Guild lies these scorpions. They are humongous and vicious, and are excellent monsters to train on. They drop absolutely nothing, so don't fight them in chances of gaining a bit of gold or even bones. You won't receive much. Level 40: Moss Giants At this level, do not attack these monsters if you are a warrior and use melee. Only rangers and mages should attempt this. In the Varrock swers, hide behind the mossy rocks or stalagmites and shoot your spells or arrows at them. Copyright 2006 So, what do you think?
