Hello Hello fellow scapers! It is I, Panic Pants, with an idea for a sort of player-made guild. I call it 'The Grinder's Guild' for it is to emphasize the more draining of RS pastimes, the grind! If you like to camp out for days at a time, three hours straight a day at a training spot to boost that level to kingdom come, this guild is for you! This is not a true guild, but a blog of which people can post updates on their grinding fun! If you wish to sign up, reply saying you wish to do so as well as what you will be grinding on next. It is not required that you grind constantly, but it is required that you do partake in this most exhausting activity! So come on, throw a pot of coffee on the maker, pop in your favorite tunes, and grind the night (preferrably not a school night) away! If you notice; I didn't say this was for pures (although they are allowed,) I said this was for Player-Killing. This includes pures; but any player-killing account is accepted. As for participation; there are no set meeting dates; but if you see someone in the project on (BTW add 'xx ruiche xx') go ahead and PM them. You can hang with them if you want. Player-killing trips will be scheduled once the project participants are of ample levels (say a str pure at 40 stk 70 str and whatever def). BTW; I should post me stats, eh? Well i'm going to be a hybrid pure; which is in my book the true player-killer. Here's an update on stats by thee way ATK - 5 STR - 26 HP - 19 COMBAT - 15 I'll add all y'all now. Since this is a f2p experiment I don't think fubai would really work. If you ever want to pk in f2p with us you could, but you couldn't really be a true part of the experiment.

sorry; but it has to be started at combat three =/. The goal here is to level up around the same; then form a tip.it pk'ing team or soemthing like it and own the wildy. I'll think about it; but for the most part the 47 combat is too much. UPDATE: Sept. 2 Hey! I'm still working on mining; and am combat 4 (3 magic ftw!) I plan on mining till it's 50 (it's 18 now) so that I can get plenty of money for training/pking. Oh, and I added both of you who joined.

yes; pking from level three; better yet; on only this account's money! Well, almost all (I had a friend help me out getting pickaxes; but that was like 30k only.) Right now I'm busy mining in Fally; around mining 12 now.

Hey! It's panic pants with a project that's open to all veterans (12 months+) of runescape! I call it the Player-killing experiment! In it, I, and whoever wishes to join, will make a pfree-to-play player-killing account; and for a few months they will play the account almost exclusively to level up as fast a possible! Then we will form up a player-killing team and kick some serious noob in the wilderness! Heh; I face a similar problem that you do, and I feel it to be a common problem. I have an Idea for a solution, and maybe it'll work for you. First though, I must explain where I am in this. 7th grade I found out about the big RS, and I started playing...a lot. i got the membs and from the time I got home till the time I slept was full-on RS. My grades suffered only at the end (I started playing early third quarter) but nonetheless I was doing less pre algebra and more pre-heroes quest. 8th grade came the most of my playing; and with it horrid detriment to my grades; three quarters off of honor roll (which is BS for me) and rarely doing homework. I stopped playing on and off near the end, but I was still lazy when it came to studies. When 8th grade was over I played like a maniac in june and part of july; then stopped until now. School is starting and I have a few new focuses on life; a band, a great place to use up restlessness and not waste effort on pixels. Hit me now; but let's face it: more people listen to music than play RS. Also it being a new year Starting fresh and building study habits is easier. My idea for you is this: A: Find a new outlet; whether it music, sports, or anything off of the internet/tv B: Focus from day 1. Since you've already started you shouldn't be too deep in work and can build up teh habits. C: Play runescape when EVERYTHING is done. Not only will you get everything complete; it will make it all more rewarding; no? I'd rather enjoy some 'scaping after succesfully conquering the monster of geometry than have it breathing down my back. D: realize; you don't have to kick out RS. As long as you take charge and 'don't be a weenie' it shouldn't be too hard to manage time. Take it from me; a genuine slacker! I've seen Runescape ruin lives; but they only ruin lives when you let it. everything good is bad in large amounts my friend; and moderation might be difficult at first; but everything will come to you with time. PS: if anyone wishes to flame me because I'm 'knocking rs' and blaming it for people's problems, maybe you should think about it; I still play; still love; and still praise Runescape. It's when you replace real living with it that it becomes a problem, but who's fault is that now?

hmm, maybe work for it as a means of doing something? Not being rude; i'd just thought it'd make sense. Unless making money is what you are bored from; then stake! make money doing PC! or better yet; go around in a weird-looking outfit and yell "I love to wear pants on my head!"

Hey; I never talked to you on yer old account, but if you could add me that;d be woot. I need some people to talk to as I grind away training. Anyways; great work on the goal! It's something like my friend and I used to do (on a MUCH smaller scale though; just wearing black (g) at level 6 and owning varrock west mining). I hopes you get your goal within the year FTW

If you asked me in june; i'd say 'never.' Now with the stronghold (new high-level monsters for f2p training) and prayers to help out rangers and mages, I wouldn't be amazed if they added some more stuff to f2p. As to what I haven't an answer; but I'm pretty sure there'll be at least ONE more f2p update (aside from graphix) For sooth.

I got my name, Panic Pants, out of a fit of brilliance. First off; I like pants (the word); I like how i hear its used elsewhere (for rarely is it used as anything more than legwear in the US), and I took to it, calling things 'teh pants' if they pwned babies and the elderly. Panic was just something random, but eventually grew into the whole absurdity of the name. 'Panic Pants' are legwear you, er, wear when panicking. I'd love a diagram if someone could draw one up.

AUGUST 24 2006 Well, I played more than I thought I would yesterday; and got two important levels, level 69 attack, and level 50 prayer. I'm still combat 83; but I bet you when attack hits 70 I wont! Tomarrow we have to go to school for orientation; meaning we wake up at the same time we would for school (which is bad, me being an uber-sleeper). No doubt once school starts I'll be able to juice out some awesome grinding skillz... LATER THAT DAY... Woot! Two good things happened to me today! First I'll start with my champion scroll, from hillys of course. At my level he was very easy. Afterward I returned to my training spot and finally got 70 attack (and combat 84)! Now I can work on defense, after a short fishing/woodcutting break of course. 70 attack If you wanna come fish with me; i'm located at catherby (world 58, hyt me up and I'll add ya)

AUGUST 22, 2006 Today I start up the blog. In all honesty the school year starts friday with orientation (half day) but I decided to start with this as I wait for WoW to get back online XD. It'll run out saturday; and I'm being cheap saving up for a PA system so I'll stick with RS until I buy the system, which I beleive cost tons. Right now I'm working on combat; training on hill giants at my supersecret spot! I'm getting attack to 70 and prayer up to whatever.[/img]
