Two failed jad attempts yesterday because of lag and a through the roof heartbeat when I was prayer switching.. that 68 hit and an outside view of tzhaar nearly brought a tear to my eye, 760k down the toilet yesterday, barrowsing for supplies for attempt numero trois. Whether doing skills, minigames such as barrows, or melee training at dust devils after reaching that important bench-mark of sixty five slayer, it can all be fairly tedious. Minding our own buisness, myself and Hart figured we would return to one of our past-times. Hunting the infamous KBD (king black dragon). Sooner or later, amoung others, our ventures will include slaying the Kalphite Queen and pummeling the profitable Dagg Kings, but for now, as we have our eyes set on other goals such as a fire cape for myself, along with guthan and verac, and high combat stats for Hart, the KBD will suffice. _____________________________________________________________ 2) The KBD, or King Black Dragon resides in medium depth wilderness in it's lair of stone littered with gold coins and rings. You must go down a ladder in a pen of lesser demons, navigate a minute dungeon of highly poiseness spiders, and pull a lever to be instantly transported into this beasts grasp. The KBD is lvl 276 and has approx. 257 hp. _____________________________________________________________ 3) So, why hunt the KBD? Well, because it's fun! That's the main reason we hunt it, and also, it would be really nice to have that brilliant KBD head hanging in our house. A Dragon med is also nice, from time to time. :D _____________________________________________________________ 4) Suprisingly enough, you don't have to be all that high level to kill it. Myself and Hart managed to cope at lvl 85 a while ago, however, we did use almost one inventory of sharks for one kill. My stats. Sir Hartlar's stats. _____________________________________________________________ 5) Equipment and inventory picture. _____________________________________________________________ 6) Our plan of attack is really quite simple, when we reach the gate to the lesser demon pen we pot up with anti poison, anti dragon fire and any super pots. We then go down the ladder, pull the lever and kill the KBD, one full lot of prayer usually lasts a dragon, we take a prayer pot for those rare circumstances when a top-up is needed. After killing the KBD we journey out and pray at the near-by dark altar. Then repeat. Simple, 'ey? _____________________________________________________________ 7) The good part now, drops. We split the drops equally between us.
