Oh c'mon guys. He's trying something new, why not help 'em out a little? He never said it was a pixel (though, it's made of pixels, so it is still a pixel image, technically), so don't go yelling at him. ;P You have a decent concept, and the drawing itself isn't bad... You just need to make it smaller, IE, use the Pencil tool in paint. The Pencil tool is the one pixel tool everyone is talking about. Afterwards, I suggest checking out some of the tutorials on shading and the like in the sticky located in this forum. Good luck for the future. ;P

no offence, but its no tht complex a joke to figure out it would be if you knew when it was first used anyways... i need to stop hijacking threads... ok i promise my next post will be on topic! :D This reminds me of the time I was making a post to promote a new signature I made, and accidentally posted in some guys topic. It's got a cartooney style which I like. ;P When it comes to more detail, I'd say the wall and floor, but I'm not one to really talk about that since I can not add much to floors/walls myself. ;P Very nice for a first one. First: My current Work in progress: Though, I may or may not finish it. I've been doing many W.I.P.s lately, and just not finishing them due to lack of interest in the idea. As well as the fact that as the Pixel art scene her gets better and better with shading, lineworks, etc. and I'm still behind kind of has a toll on whether or not I finish my work. (I hate shading. ;P) That, and it's pretty hard to come up with something to overshadow my current one... The idea behind it, anyway.

I'd suggest putting into categories... Since there are different metal genres. Most of those bands seem to be New metal, also (The only one I recognized as older was Maiden). Eh. I might be wrong, though.

I tried listening to Emo once. Didn't like it much, really. From what I usaully listen to (Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Jefferson Airplane ;P) it's Really toned down. There's really no point for me to listen to it because, 1. I get nothing from the lyrics, and 2. It's just toned down from what I like normally. Anyways, I'll make a proper post on my view once I'm done reading this. I'm around page three.

Not much of a tutorial, really. A tutorial teaches you how to do something, and imparts knowledge of the subject. This is a movie of what you did to make a warrior. There's no steps, and one would have to take screenshots or watch it over and over again just to draw one. Don't get me wrong, though. It's pretty awesome, but not a tutorial. ;P

I like it, but it's somewhat confusing. For instance, I wasn't sure if he was facing forward and looking over or not, until GS's comment about his buttocks. (Buttocks... butt ocks.. Butt talks? Zomg!!) I dunno. And the background seemed a little weird at first... Though, I'm on a dark monitor so granted most sigs look a little weird. I'll give it a proper rating when I get onto a computer with a better monitor.
