  1. Well the title was suppose to end with an "ed?" but you probably get it.... anyway has anyone else done something like that or has gotten killed altogether? My story: I was once on a slayer task to kill lesser demons and went under Karamja, and my world was crowded to switch to the lowest world, only I wasn't paying attention so I went to non-members. I had on a Whip, Full Dragon, Barrows Gloves, Rune Boots, Fire Cape... basically I had +0 to everything because it was an entirely members outfit. A lesser demon started to attack me as I lagged out... I couldn't think of anything I could do so I quickly x'd out... logged onto a members world with 4hp. Whats worse is I had 4 rune meds in my inventory so I wouldn't have kept any of my members stuff.
  2. We don't need to follow any certain pattern on monster combats, hp's or stats. Just make a bigger jump from steel to mithril than from iron to steel and that's it. The way to avoid soloing would be somewhat easy. Just add all 3 combat styles to it like kalphite queen has. For example fire could work for magic, [bleep]es for ranged and tailslash for melee. Yea kq can be soloed, but only because it has too weak (well, not powerful enough) attacks. If you want to make the dragons even more harder, add switching prayers: it could protect from 2 combat styles at once and randomly switch them. I still think that 5 rune bars from 1 monster is too much, no matter how powerful it is. One or 2 would sound a lot more realistic, but 5... that would pay up for the potions for a small team. Hmm, I added a higher jump from Adamantite to Runite, but I want to keep Mithril and Adamantite soloable. Ok, it can headbutt, tailwhip, shoot [bleep]es, and shoot fire. But maybe since this is an ancient and powerful dragon, the fire could penetrate the safty of the inventory and burn the glass vials and the pots evaporate, and the food burns?
  3. Dragon dragons is stupid, I agree. And Mithril and Adamantite dragon would be solo'd. :wall:
  4. What the hell? Us members have 6 times the bank as f2p, I just realized, almost all members are greedy jerks. :o
  5. Well every dog has his day... but I'm a human... and I like to run laps! I once had a great friend in this game... his name is Brutaldeth, and he is among the greatest of Agility. Sad to see him retire and lose so many ranks. Anyway, he trained with me to the point I am today, and I told him I would have an Agility cape one day... got caught up with my Fire Cape and forgot all about that. :? Well there is a skill cape to motivate me now, so here I go! And I'll just admit it... Agility is my favourite skill. :-w My progress: I'll get some pictures in here soon enough..
  6. I think the current metal dragons are easy enough, a great place to waste away all those nasty chaos you got from the barrows. :shame: Anyway, higher defense means you need a good team! Great idea. I kept the well thought out and Nice idea parts in there because I liked them. :D
  7. That's a bit too weak IMO. Dagannoths kings got 331hp and people solo them even tho there are 3 of them in a small area and all attack styles are represented. Also dropping 5 runite bars is a bit too much. That would be 65k worth of runite bars. If you ask me, they should have multiple attacks, really high def, higher hp, multizone and add some special drops. This way only higher leveled teams could take them down and definately not in an easy way. Also adding few drops which are worth something would get people to kill them. Well the problem with Dagannoth Kings is that they are 3 seperate monsters, capable of killing with 1 person on each King protect praying his attack. I haven't thought this new idea all the way through but maybe it could shoot rune darts out of its back? You could pick them up but that way it has a range, mage, and melee attack. Need a team to take it down for sure now. 5 runite bars doesn't sound like too much at all in my opinion, there is only 1 per world, and it would have like a 3 minute respawn.
  8. Well I figured the Mithril and Adamantite Dragons could be in the same room, and 70 isn't that big of a hassal, the reason for mining level to kill the dragons is each team would NEED a rune miner otherwise they cannot defeat the 2nd strongest monster in the game (I'm only 53 mining #-o ). Thanks for the support all!
  9. F2P deserves 1 or 2 more quests, more bank space, and personally, I think they deserve Taverly and Herblore (make all pots up to normal def). I would gladly give up 1-2 weeks worth of updates for that... I mean... we did that for Keldagrim and that made nobody happy. Amirite?
  10. OK, so we have Bronze, Iron, and Steel dragons. They are impressive creatures, dropping a wide array of valuable items, including Dragon Plate legs. But we wonder... "Does it stop at Steel?" Unfortunately, it does, but hopefully not for long! A new array of metal dragons could add a new dragon item into the game, and a reason to level up other skills. Why? Because you should have to finish off the dragon with a swift blow of a pickaxe after it has hit 0 hp, after all, you are fighting dragons made of the toughest metal in Runescape! So heres how it would work... If you look at the levels of the current metal dragons, you will notice that from levels 131 to 189 there is a 58 level difference, and from 189 to 246 a 57 level difference. So from Steel to Mithril we can figure a 56 level difference etc. Also, the Bronze Dragon has 131 combat, with 125 hp, a 6 hp difference, looks normal, but with Iron Dragon having a 16 level/hp difference, and Steel Dragon a 26 level/hp difference it seems implemented. So we would figure this at... Mithril Dragon: Level 302, HP: 266 Adamantite Dragon: Level 357, HP: 311 Runite Dragon: Level 411, HP: 355 :ohnoes: or Level 464, HP: 398 These would all drop 5x the bars of their name, but wouldn't be easy to kill. You could mage them like you do to the current dragons, but since these dragons have such tough skin, you must run up and deliver the killing blow (similar to Gargoyles) with a mining level alotted to the dragons metal type, 55, 70, and 85. This brings a new reason into the game to raise mining other than quests and a decent amount of money. These dragons should also be scarce, 3 Mithril, 2 Adamantite, and 1 Runite. The location of the dragons should be in a separate room with vines in the way (similar to when you enter the dungeon) or a high level agility obstacle. The Runite dragon should be down a ladder in the center of the room in a multi-combat zone. With a high level mining to kill these, it sounds justified to have the Dragon Pickaxe as the drop, but just to keep these popular to kill, jagex could introduce a whole new array of special amulets or gloves or something similar to the Dagganoth Kings, incase of a Dragon Pickaxe flop (similar to the Dragon Axe?). 11. Very very nice! I suggest you do that in the ghost town though, on the far east shore of Runescape, the furnace is much closer to the bank.
  12. Yeah, I just noticed the sticky after I posted, how foolish.
  13. I'm stuck, and terrible at these... any tips?
  14. Hamburgers from fast food chains is ground up chicken with beef extract added. Anyway you mean American English right?
  15. do imps drop gems? if so they can carry a dragon square shield :XD: Nope. And as for people arguing how big an Impling is, a Sapling is a young tree, so we can assume an Impling would be a young(and obviously smaller) Imp. Also, who but an Impling would go to such a great risk to steal Dragon items? :-w
  16. The quote contradicts all you are saying, an imp couldn't hold a pick axe, too bad. #-o
  17. Also, Dragon Arrows should remain constant, unlike Dark Bows, unless those take the road of the whip and slowly decrease over the course of 2 years, will be worth as much as a whip within a week. So why not shoot for 83 hunter? Much easier.
  18. This guy sucks [rooster]. Bring your best stuff to the dragons, die around me to because I will give it back.
  19. Wikiwin ====== Animal Decomposition The body of a living organism begins to decompose (as part of a succesion) shortly after death. Such decomposition can be simplified in two stages: In the first stage, it is limited to the production of vapors. In the second stage, fluidic materials form and the flesh or plant matter begins to decompose. The science which studies such decomposition generally is called taphonomy. Historically, the progression of decomposition of a living organism has been described as taking place in four stages: fresh (autolysis), bloat (putrefaction), decay (putrefaction and carnivores) and dry (diagenesis). Process Signs of death Pallor mortis Algor mortis Rigor mortis Livor mortis Decomposition Decomposition begins at the moment of death, caused by two factors: autolysis, the breaking down of tissues by the body's own internal chemicals and enzymes; and putrefaction, the breakdown of tissues by bacteria. These processes release gases that are the chief source of the characteristic odor of dead bodies. These gases swell the body. Scavengers play an important role in decomposition. Insects and other animals are typically the next agent of decomposition, if the body is accessible to them. The most important insects that are typically involved in the process include the fleshflies (Sarcophagidae) and blowflies (Calliphoridae). The green-bottle fly seen in the summer is a blowfly. Larger scavengers, including coyotes, dogs, wolves, foxes, rats, and mice may eat a body if it is accessible to them. Some of these animals also remove and scatter bones. Factors The rate and the manner in which an animal body decomposes is strongly affected by a number of factors. In a roughly descending degree of importance, those factors include: * Temperature * The availability of oxygen * Prior embalming * Cause of death * Access by insects * Burial, and depth of burial * Access by scavengers * Trauma, including wounds and crushing blows * Humidity, or dryness * Rainfall * Body size and weight * Clothing * The surface on which the body rests The speed with which decomposition occurs varies greatly. Factors such as temperature, humidity, and the season of death all determine how fast a fresh body will skeletonize or mummify. A basic guide for the effect of environment on decomposition is given as Casper's Law (or Ratio): when there is free access of air a body decomposes twice as fast than if immersed in water and eight times faster than if buried in earth. The most important variable is a body's accessibility to insects, particularly flies. On the surface in tropical areas, invertebrates alone can easily reduce a fully fleshed corpse to clean bones in under two weeks. The skeleton itself is not permanent; acids in soils can reduce it to unrecognizable components; this is one reason given for the lack of human remains found in the wreckage of the Titanic, even in parts of the ship considered inaccessible to scavengers. Freshly skeletonized bone is often called "green" bone and has a characteristic greasy feel. Under certain conditions (normally cool, damp soil) bodies may undergo saponification and develop a waxy substance called adipocere, caused by the action of soil chemicals on the body's proteins and fats. The formation of adipocere slows decomposition by inhibiting the bacteria that cause putrefaction. In extremely dry or cold conditions, the normal process of decomposition is halted, by either lack of moisture or temperature controls on bacterial and enzymatic action, causing the body to be preserved as a mummy. Frozen mummies commonly restart the decomposition process when thawed whilst heat desiccated mummies remain so unless exposed to moisture. The bodies of newborns who never ingested food are an important exception to the normal process of decomposition. They lack the internal microbial flora that generate much of decomposition and quite commonly mummify if kept in even moderately dry conditions. Embalming Embalming is the practice of preserving decomposition of human and animal remains. Embalming slows decomposition somewhat, but does not forestall it indefinitely. Embalmers typically pay great attention to parts of the body seen by mourners, such as the face and hands. The chemicals used in embalming repel most insects, and slow down bacterial putrefaction by "fixing" cellular proteins, which means that they cannot act as a nutrient for bacteria, and killing the bacteria themselves. In sufficiently dry environments, an embalmed body may end up mummified and it is not uncommon for bodies in dry vaults to remain preserved to a viewable extent after decades, such as the murdered civil rights activist Medgar Evers. Another case of this would be the body of Lenin, who was kept submerged in a special tank of fluid for decades, almost perfectly preserved. Bodies submerged in peat bog may become naturally "embalmed", arresting decomposition and resulting in a preserved specimen known as a bog body. The body of Evita Peron was kept perfectly preserved for many years, and as far as is known, may still be so (her body is no longer on display as it once was). The time for an embalmed body to be reduced to a skeleton varies greatly. Even when a body is decomposed, embalming treatment can still be achieved (the arterial system decays slower) but would not restore a natural appearance without extensive reconstruction and cosmetic work, and is largely used to control the foul odours due to decomposition.
  20. These capes pissed me off... then I figured out my fire cape still beats it! :D

  22. Well, lets stop all this arguing in my direction and watch the video, after that maybe you could add something intresting into this discussion other than "O_M_G_Guasto hates America because he believes 9/11 was a conspiracy!"
