Slayer, a mini help guide on misc. stuff you know
Debatable. The zamorakian spear has 7 less bonus in strength, but has 5 more in crush. Additionally, if you choose not to range pray, the +13 range defence bonus makes the spear the better weapon for sure. In the case that you do use prayer, it's really just a question of whether you want to hit a tiny bit higher or a tiny bit more often. Waterfiends ranged attacks are mage based. Range defence does nothing. Also, strength is more valuable than attack, and the ss has a bigger str bonus than spears att bonus, so it's not debatable at all. Meme: KBD takes ages though, and its drops are inferior to other boss monsters. Abby demons are boring and their whip drop rate is very low, the charms quite suck, piety is a waste of money on them, but most of all they are horribly boring like I just said.

Slayer, a mini help guide on misc. stuff you know
ALL black demons drop good charms now. It was in the patch notes a few months ago. You can just cannon the ones in taverly dungeon for pretty good charms. Tasks you say you should do when you really shouldn't: Black dragons: ... Umm, how anyone could like this task is beyond me. They are horrible!! They're boring, slow, don't drop much, and require constant banking. They should be blocked ASAP! Nechryaels: They have too much defence for how little they drop. And they have a lot of offensive power too. And they're very boring. This task takes ages, and you won't walk away with much drops and you'll get slow xp. And abyssal demons which are slow, boring, take ages to kill, too spaced out, don't drop much and are filled with campers even though they are terrible. Some people like them, but they overall really suck. Tasks you say you shouldn't do when you really should: Goraks: They're quite a fast task, good xp, not crowded at all, you can walk a half key richer as well as gems, and they're so aggressive that they will go "on" you even if you are already in combat, and then will just stand next to you, which means very little moving around on your part. Scabarites: Cannon the ones in the catacombs and they're pretty alright charms, good xp, and they're pretty fun. Even if you killed the ones at the oasis they're quite fun and do have some alright drops. Suqahs: I don't like em much, but they're cannonable and are a pretty fast task, and not too boring. Warped terrorbirds: They have pretty good drops and are quite good xp, are quite fun, and you can kill the ones in the hallway just past the first big area and only have 1 attacking at a time, so you don't need prayer. While they drop no charms, you can easily walk 300k richer from this task. Not a great guide really, but a good effort nonetheless. Also, saradomin sword is EASILY the best weapon for waterfiends.

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
I know you have read mine, but have you read it RECENTLY? I have no intention of getting into a flame war, btw. Godsword easily beats hally, especially if you have a unicorn (no healing lag). GS is both faster and much stronger, and if your doing it right you won't have interruptions while GSing, so it makes absolutely no sense that hally would be as good. If you didn't have a unicorn, it is a little more debatable, because you'll be eating every now and then which occurs less often with hally, although GS would still be fair bit faster. I do accept hally as a method, but only for the less rich. As soon as you get your first claws, bye bye hally. Or if you have slow reflexes and stuff, but if that's the case TDs wouldn't be the right boss monster for you. As for the saving of prayer potions, well when you're getting 28m drops I doubt one would care.

d claws vs. godswords
D claws own everything. They own all godswords, their special will KO your opponent 80% of the time, it owns for boss monsters, it is extremely powerful, it owns, it kicks [wagon], it rocks, its spec is great for training, it rules, it is fun as hell, its awesome, its cool, its sweet, it KOs your opponent 80% of the time, you'll get rich off PvP with them, you will dominate PvP, you will be worshipped like a god, hot girls will want to go out with you, you will look like a beast with those beastly claws, you can lower Jad's hp by over a 100 in 2 specs easily, it looks cool, it rocks, it pwns all nubs for breakfast, it owns, its fun, it KOs your opponent 80% of the time, it KOs your opponent 90% of the time, it KOs your opponent every time, it rocks, it pwns, it'll pull the chicks, you can KO those chicks, it rocks, it pwns, it owns, and did I say it pwns? Just because I hunt TDs doesn't mean I'm price manipulating lol lol lol

most hated slayer task!!??!
Steels Hellhounds - they drop nothing Black drags - boring, slow, don't drop much, etc. Nechryaels - boring, slow, high def, annoying death spawns, don't drop much. Abby demons - boring, slow, don't drop enough to make them not boring, too spaced out, not enough of them, crowded, filled with campers even though they are horrid. Kalphites - drop nothing, cannon hardly shoots many of them even if they are like 3 frigging squares away, very frustrating for that reason. Warped terrorbirds are pretty good actually, a task often gives you 300k in loot, and they have almost no defence. No charms though. Why do people hate scabarites? They're fun! Cannon the ones in the catacombs and you can get a reasonable amount of crimsons, as well as having lots of fun, and it's not all that dangerous really. Even the ones at the oasis are fun.

I could use Warriormonk's map now I guess... I'll do that later. I'll try make a vid, is there any video recording software that is free and non-laggy you can recommend? The one I got right now is laggy as hell lol. You pray all the time you are fighting, and you pray against whatever style it is currently using.... The first style they use is mage.

Thanks, I understand the official guides prefer not to drag on, that's okay. North spot is definitely the safest, although you gotta step right out when the demon spawns (not a big deal I guess really). Just one more thing - rings, a zerker or warrior would be better than an archers ring, but you haven't listed those. Archer ring doesn't relatively make much difference really. Nice guide to you too  You making a site guide for revenants next?

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
Okay, well I am a little short on time at time of posting (got school shortly), so I'll keep it short. You didn't mention how they can even use their charge attack over obstacles, and by extension how doing so makes them become stationary. I feel you should mention the NE spot for "advanced hunters" (or something like that). It requires very little luring and is for the most part safe from other demons. And I think you should suggest piety/eagle flashing for those who become used to killing them, because they are rather slow to kill without those prayers. Ok really gotta go :P

Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
Welcome back, and a bloody nice guide. Tormented demons are good charm droppers. They drop 3 charms nearly every kill, most of which are blue. To top it off, they are extremely economical.... For obvious reasons.

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
Now you just need to compare it to a godsword. But remember you are maxed out mostly and so you can hit the demons the majority of the time anyway. But the whip stinks for people around my level. And it's hard to pray flash. P.S. borrow a godsword. A lot of times you use the arguement of your "low stats" to explain why a godsword is better. I really don't think those 3-6 lvls will make all that much of a difference. If you were 80-80-80, then we would be talking. Just wanted to point that out :-) Well, that's just how I saw it at the time I guess. But the main difference is the difficulty in pray flashing. It's so hard with a whip. While you can get the flashing right the majority of the time, it causes many stuff-ups of various descriptions, and it can numb your mind and make you perform even worse. That's just my experience, anyway. And the more I stuff up, the more numb my mind gets. But sort of theoretically speaking they kill at roughly the same speed.

Finally, a soul wars activity bar, though is it good or bad?
The game might be a bit funner now. I only play it for fun but it wasn't all that fun because you either had to wait forever to get in or go on the side that gets pwned. Now the competition may be a bit more fair, but the clans will probably dominate still of course. I really don't understand why so many people do soul wars just for xp.... The xp is HORRIBLE - even slayer is faster combat xp, and armoured zombies are like twice as fast as SW almost. But anyway, all they have to do is make a SC style game-joining system so the games are more fair. I hate those stupid clans who farm the game for xp even though it sucks for xp.

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
WHAT?!?!? That is clearly a first-glance assumption that you haven't thought through.... And GS can do it in 1 knockdown quite easily for the higher leveled people. Seriously, my guide is cabbage? You have got to be absolutely joking! I know what I'm talking about thank you very much! I have used both methods and GS is clearly better! I really can not get my head around what you just said. Obviously you are just sucking up to Artemis. Sad. Please, justify that comment. Actually, Stonewall has read your guide pretty thoroughly, he even made some comments (go check). As of why, I'm wondering too. Also, apperently Hally actually can do kills within 1 knockdown if you are lucky. For me at the moment, with no max stats, I can do that with a gs if i'm lucky, so the difference isn't *that* big as I thought it was, it seems. Not too sure tbh. Ah he indeed has, but I don't think he's looked at it recently. Much has changed since then. I can rarely get it with 1 knockdown with my stats unfortunately. But it's more about how long it takes to kill in seconds than in knockdowns.

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
Well, I've paragraphed it a bit better... I don't like my huge blocks of text near the start of the guide... And I need to add a picture to the NW spot that clearly shows where to lure. I don't know how to go about with the map, do you have any clue on how you make maps like they do in the official maps? I'm guessing its really complicated. And I stank with void myself. But thanks for your support and stuff. I love you Add me in-game pl0x :D

I have now set out some info in the guide better, and in general have given it a nice touch-up. Also added a horrible situations section for when you mess up :P

It was prolly 3-4. Without boost prayers, remember. And my stats are prlly lower than yours.

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
Major underexaggeration. I am so sorry for trying to help you with your guide. But remember, stating the very best setups would improve the guide so much. A person who is new to TD's who comes to read your guide would use the hally method without prayer flashing, would bring only one super set, and as such would get very slow kills, and it would take them quite a long time to figure out better methods because they think yours is the best already. But fine, don't follow my advice then. I never thought you were such an [wagon], but oh well. Nothing I said was spam by the way, it was constructive criticism that you blindly ignored. I followed your guide for around about 250 kills, so don't think I haven't tried yours. I will stop "spamming" (I use that word loosely) your guide now. Your other guides are pretty good though. Feel better?

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
I am not exaggerating about how slow hally is. It really is uber slow. A while ago I used it like you did, and it took me like 4-5 knockdowns or so a kill (I can't remember very well I'll admit, but it was something like that). When I switched to godsword (still without prayer flashing), It rarely took me 3 knockdowns. Hally WITH flashing is nearly as good as gs WITHOUT flashing. Of course you don't "need" 2 super sets, but it is so much more efficient that it is completely indisputable that you should do so. I don't take a lot of damage either. But I really don't care about that, your setup is fine for damage control. Don't tell me not to criticise your guide. Without criticism, you won't learn about anything you did wrong, and movie makers would think that all their movies are good when many aren't. If you just completely dismiss criticism, then your stuff is going to suck. And first-timers generally make up the majority of the audience here. Someone who already knows what they're doing is usually less likely to look for a guide about what they're doing. As for your duo guide, it's the only (known) one there is, lol. It is fairly good though. Although personally I find duo to not be all that much faster. It's basically one person attacks, and the other one is backup for when the demon swaps prayers, but only one person can be hurting the demon at a time. Quadrio+, now that is good.

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
I wasn't intending to flame. Just criticising. Emotions being hard to express is a problem of the internet I guess. Though, I do tend to say what I'm thinking. For that I apologise. The inventory - you have only one super set. You need two. Excalibur is kind of a waste of space; one can do without it quite easy. You have way too many restores/p pots for non pray flashing, and you have no space for drops. And it's impossible to not take damage, you ofc will take some. I said nothing about damage. But the main problem is your method is inefficient. Not pray flashing, especially with a hally, gives extremely slow kills. I think you focus too much on staying for ages, when speed is far more important. If you can be nearly twice as fast (or 175%ish) without much more effort, it's silly not to go with it. And why is method in inverted commas? I am not trying to flame you here, I'm just giving perhaps rather harsh feedback. You did put in a good amount of time to help others without gaining much for yourself, so I don't have much of a problem with you. Same goes for most guide writers out there. I myself did have to go through criticism, just thought you should know that.
