I agree that Accept Aid should always just be set to off as it is something a lot of people can just use to their advantage against you. This doesn't have to do with barrows, but a long while back I remember being bored and wanting to range at black demons. Someone was already in one of the range spots, so I moved over to a different one, but I could still see what was going on. A second person then came up and told (not asked) the person who was already there to move because they liked that spot. The first person just ignored it and still managed to get all the demons themselves. A third person then came in, who was obviously a friend of the second person as they both started telling the person to move. He didn't listen, so the third person started repeatedly casting teleother on him until the person who was already there hopped to a different world. The second and third people laughed about it, and while the one started ranging the other said "Goodbye" and tele'd out going back to whatever they were doing. So, Accept Aid should definately always be off, imo.

Just out of curiosity, were you on world 89? Because if you were I was there and yeah, it was a certer.

Just a quick question... what level mage do you need to cast the moon clan teleports? Okay, 69 and 70... just checked for myself.

Creature of Fenkenstrain gets you the ring of charos and I believe Garden of Tranquillity is the quest that you get it enchanted during.

I'm not posotive about the longest one I've been on, but I was with a small group of people that I usually go to PC with. We find a remotely empty world and play with just our group. So, we wanted to see if we could last the whole 20 minutes... just destroy three of the portals and keep the knight alive. Well, the first attempt I ran to the bank and missed the boat, so everyone just destroyed the portals and came back. We were waiting in the lander to go back and with 30 seconds left, I got that dumb crane game random and missed the boat again. Well, they went ahead and did the whole 20 minute game while I left and did something else, lol.

I actually lost my ROC earlier today and had to get it back. To get it back just go to the top floor of the castle and pickpocket the doctor again. If it was enchanted (with a (u) after it) then when you pickpocket it back, it will still be enchanted.

I thought I had said that without naming names that I had a different set of forums than the ones used here, but after re-reading my original post I can see how it wasn't made clear. I was just mearly stating how not all forums or versions of said forums can just include the option of a quick reply box. And flood control aside, someone doesn't necesarrily need to post under a certain amount of time to put up something completely unrealted to the topic of the post or just something rude in general.

Not sure which version you installed but the one i linked to dosen't have any of the like. This has to checkboxes after the quick reply box. Quote post above, and Show Signature. If signature is turned to always show in the profile, then it will be automatically checked. Not sure which version you installed :? I have Invision v 2.0.3... its not a free version. Along with the 'Enable Email Notification' it also has 'Enable Smilies' and 'Enable Signatures' already checked. I couldn't find a way to have any of them unchecked. And I do agree that on this board it wouldn't work too well going along with the other people as saying you don't need to make it that much easier for people to post spam.

Not all boards just come with that feature... it can not only depend on the style of board but also the version of it. I know when I upgraded my own set of forums (not runescape ones, completely unrelated) the newer version had Quick reply. I have it enabled now, however it can be annoying as you have to click to not receive email notifications when someone responds. The default isn't that you choose to get replies. This caused a lot of confusion for all of the members and myself at first, and I could never find a way to change that so it was just something we had to learn to deal with. However with a board of this size and with all the new members that sign up everyday (if it is indeed the same situation, not sure as I use a different set of boards) you'll have to weigh out the options of whether or not it will be worth it for you guys to impliment.

Well, nothing good from the chest today. However, not too long after I posted yesterday I got Veracs Brassard, so that makes 3 barrows items I've gotten so far. Karil is indeed tough now. I use prayer on all the brothers, spend about 2-3 pray pots per trip, which isn't so bad. Today I went down to fight Karil at one point and noticed a bunch of stuff on the groud, so apparently someone had just died. Grabbed myself 200+ rune arrows, Black dhide chest and legs, and a Glory Ammie. Also picked up 2 sharks from someone dieing on Verac. Well, while dropping and picking up certain things, I had forgotten that my prayer had drained to 0. So I click on the coffin to fight Karil and he starts nailing me pretty hard. Went all the way down to about 15 hp before I could get my prayer back on. So those 2 sharks I had just found came in pretty handy, lol. Took a break from the barrows for a while to get my mage level up a little with all the chaos runes I've gotten and before I go back I'm going to have to buy more prayer pots and deaths... got mostly minds today from the chest. But that's okay, considering I sold Dharoks axe for 3 mil to help fund the barrows trips. So, hopefully I'll get something tomorrow... would really love a Dragon Med, I've never gotten a dragon drop since I started playing about a year ago and am determined to get the helm as a drop and not buy one, lol. But my question to you is, do you recommend only killing the 6 brothers and not worrying about any of the other monsters in the tunnel? What is your average kill count? What I do is basically just kill the 6 brothers and get to the chest as quick as possible... keeping run on the whole time and just trying to fly through every pass I make. Sometimes I only kill just 5 of them, if the door to the chest can be opened very quickly... that is what I did when I got Ahrims Skirt, so I figure it might work for me again... also saves me some prayer doses.

See, normally I would disagree with you... mainly because of my luck in this game. I never get good drops. But, I went back tonight and just walked out with Dharok's Axe. :lol: So, I am definatley enjoying barrows so far, lol.

Well, I finally got around to doing the barrows tonight. Went through it twice and only killed 5 of the brothers the second time. Inside the chest I found Ahrims Robeskirt. So... I doubt I'll be finding anything else other than runes any time soon, lol.

Okay, that would make it the best range shield in the game. You got my interest. Whats the range defense stats, and more importantly.... where does it come from? lol The new shield which is called the "Toktz-ket-xil" has the exact same stats as the granite shield, only difference being the +5 strength, I have both and compared them. I'll write out the exact stats for you, though. Att: Stab: +0 Slash: +0 Crush: +0 Magic: -12 Range: -8 Def: Stab: +40 Slash: +42 Crush: +38 Magic: +0 Range: +65 Strength: +5 Prayer: +0 And if you have a teleport crystal, it drops you off near the entrance to the town of Lletya. Run east a few steps into the room with Arianwyn and in the room to the north is a ladder. Up the ladder and right to the south is the prayer alter. This teleport only takes up once space and is a 1 click like the ectophial, however unlike Lumbridge, there is a bank in the town as well. Like I mentioned, get one slayer task of elves and you will get more than enough tiny elf crystals to enchant (each giving 3 teleports) to make it worth it. That's the method I might use when I start to do barrows. Almost at 55 Slayer, so once I reach it I'll give the barrows a try for myself.

I've never done Barrows yet... still waiting to get to 55 Slayer, but when I was reading about how you get to and from there... What if instead of teleing to Lumby you took one of the tiny elf crystals instead? There is an alter right in that town, on the second floor above the elf you have to talk to for Roving Elves (I forget his name at the moment). Also, if you need to there is a bank right in that town as well. Might save some space in your inventory, and even if you don't want to use the bank there, you can keep the ectofile in your inventory and go right back over there. The elf crystals are pretty easy to get. I got a slayer assignment to kill 80 elves and got 24 crystals in the process. From the 5th time and on to charge it, it only costs 150 coins for 3 charges.
