  1. I would say: If someone attacks you and yells out "Stand and deliver!" You do not need to spend an hour running... they won't be chasing you across the map. Also, when you quit for a few months, don't just give away that mask set you bought for 1 mil... you'll want to hold on to that. ... and for the love of god, don't take that jug of wine, you don't need it!
  2. Yeah, I know what you are saying... but what really stinks about drops being random is that while yes, there may be a 1 in 3000 (or 1 in 2700) chance of getting that drop, every monster you kill doesn't lower that second number or raise that first number. Meaning, I kill the KBD and have a 1/3000 chance of getting *that* drop. After it spawns and I kill it, I once again have a 1/3000 chance for *that* drop. Just killing 3000 doesn't mean you are garunteed that drop in one of those 3000. (Just using those numbers for example, of course.)
  3. Yeah, 89 was my home world as well. I remember it being down for a couple of months, at least... maybe even more. Then out of no where, it came back one day and I ran into all the usual people I used to know from certain spots... was definately a great day, lol.
  4. To the person above me: So, basically what you are saying is that to each certain monster that spawns at a certain point has a set number of deaths before it drops a rare item? I tend to think a little differently. I could see if you said that when the monster spawns it's particular drop is already set. But even that, I can't agree with. If that really were the case the Ring of Wealth would make no sence in the game. I know everyone has these conspiracy theories about Jagex and their drops, but I really doubt they would put an item in the game to help with drops if it, in actuality, served no purpose. What I think happens is just that when a certain monster is killed by a certain person, there is a check for the Ring of Wealth, and then a drop randomly grabbed from a list. The ROW effects the list your drop is grabbed from. I know Jagex has stated it works liks a roulette wheel, however I think of it more as a list, just with many more of the options to be grabbed would be say "XX coins" with only one being the "visage"; for example. I could be way off, but that's more of the way I imagine it to be than anything else. Just my two cents. Oh, and by the way, I love your Bender sig. :)
  5. When I use up my special bar on Wyverns, I choose to just use the dds special 4 times. It's especially useful after potting, and even if not, you have the chance to throw some poison in the mix. But, there is nothing wrong with experimenting down there to see what works best for you.
  6. I saw an Essence in Lumbridge, in between the cows and the goblins. Also saw a Gourmet north of Fally, just under the entrance to the dwarf caves. Caught both. :) And I agree, good topic.
  7. I found out about this last night, as well. When standing in the bank, I would always just click on the area of the trap door on the mini map and would just walk around the bar the long way. Last night, I did as normal, yet my character started walking the other way. I thought something was wrong and I'd get stopped, but he just walked right through the weeds and stopped in front of the trap door. Definately a great thing for barrows users who go that direction. :)
  8. People get 99's for the new emotes... lol, just playing. For me, personally, I was pretty close to 99 woodcut, so I decided to just go for it since the skill capes came out. And now, I'm working on 99 fletch just to trim out my cape, since it was the next closest skill to 99 for me. I understand what you are saying, about people wanting the capes more than the level, but I just kinda see it as more incentive to get to 99. Personally, I like wearing my Fire Cape a lot more, as it feels like more of an achievement after dieing to Jad 4 times before killing him. :?
  9. I believe the amount of kudo's you need to get the boat trip might be at the 100 mark. As I had 98 and asked and was told that I couldn't go along. A little later after I was over 100 (not by much, maybe in the 110-120 range) I was told I could. I have no real proof, though, so... yeah. My guess is 100, lol.
  10. I had a lessers slayer task, and while killing them got one as a drop. However, I thought it was just a blood splat (I guess, even though I don't think there are any in the Karamja volcano, lol). I was on the other side of the area killing them, and it kinda stood out to me. I quickly clicked to go pick it up, but as I was running to it, it dissapeared. I was very upset about that, lol. And also, everytime I see an imp I kill it now too... just in case, lol.
  11. I have nothing to back up what I'm about to say... but in my opinion, Willows are by far, the fastest WC exp in the game. I've been trying out Yews in the Gnome Stronghold (where I have 4 trees, due to planting one there) and the Willows outside of Barbarian Assault, and I get far more exp per hour with the willows. I have just never recorded anything about it.
  12. I with you on the Lunar Spells thing. I'm going to be getting my slayer to 85 soon, so it will be nice to have Lunar Spells on in order to get new assignments and still be able to teleport, at least near, some of the places I could have teleported to before.
  13. I definately think you are just overreacting. Why is it so crazy to think that they just want to update the strongest monster (not in a safe mini-game) and her lair?
  14. Boy, I sure am glad I got my Fire Cape the Sunday before people started talking about this gliltch, lol. And before the healers came out, I just put auto-attack on. Then I would just keep attacking after I changed prayers, because the hit comes after the prayer change. However, when the healers come out, it's a little different, since I didn't want to waste any hits on them, I just kept right clicking Jad.
  15. Kinda all strange if you ask me, like I said in an earlier post the top was the first thing I ever got on the first lumberjack event I ever got. And this was after they fixed the problem with the boots. Personally, the item I found toughest to get were the pants. I got about 3 hats in total and 10 boots before I got my pants. This may just be a coincidence, but I found by using Jayene Kliyn on the easy route, I seemed to get more bridge events then with any other person. In fact, I counted and 10 times in a row while using her, I got the bridge event. Not all of which included the lumberjack zombies, though.
