Homefront
Story looked interesting, but it looked exactly like a COD game and I don't think I'm willing to shell out $50-$60 for that right now.

Worst way to die
I'm gonna go with what I just saw on Spartacus. Having your [bleep] chopped off and then being crucified.

Does any company actually finish a series?
Friday Night Lights just ended the series with its 5th season. The finale wrapped up all the loose ends and provided some pretty good closure for the series. I hate that it ended though, I hate any TV show that ends really. It leaves me with a really weird feeling.

nope, he's right. cardio burns more calories than weightlifting The way he said it makes it sound like lifting weights doesn't even make you sweat. Also if you really want to burn calories, go push a prowler for awhile.

yeah maybe sprinting a 400 versus jogging an 800. anaerobic activity quells in comparison to aerobic activity in terms of pure calorie burning mainly because it encourages sweating and an elevated heart rate. I'd bet money that i burn more calories running a 9 mile day than you could, on average, if you spent 4-5 hours lifting. the constant high heart rate and fluid loss on the open road is unparalleled. if you are actually getting this information from a reliable source, could you post it? i feel as if it would be an interesting read. on topic: i do ab ripper 3 days a week. it will usually leave my abs feeling sore the next day. in 16 minutes (the shortest workout video, btw) it works the abs in almost every possible way. some of the movements are unnecessary to my fitness, being a runner. but after about 6 ab rippers you will see a lot more tone and 'cuts' in your abdominal area. your top two abs will show results very fast but the obliques and bottom abs take a long time to come in. i did it 3 days a week late june- early september, i had a rocking six pack by the time my season started. then i didnt have time so i went to 2 days a week, then i stopped completely for the last month of my season. Since i'm a really weak runner, my abs were seriously the only thing helping me power up hills and stabilize myself on uneven terrain. once i stopped working them i lost definition pretty fast and my performance showed that. now i've been doing it 3 days a week for the past 3 weeks and my abs are back. edit: i didn't follow the diet plan whatsoever. i eat pretty healthy in american terms but i'm probably consuming 2500-3000 c a day. You've clearly never done heavy squats, power cleans or deadlifts.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
True. The main problem for me was grammar and spelling. Had I bothered to use some sort of spell check, capitalization, and punctuation my posts would have been bearable to read. Not that my first 11 year old posts were any better, but I kinda want to slap the past you.

People must love you and your air of superiority. Kinda hard not to feel superior when Miss Teen USA 2007 is a pretty common breed of person here. It wouldn't even be a bother to me, and I certainly wouldn't consider myself superior, if it was just that people are ignorant of other cultures. There's plenty of things I have no idea about, obviously. It's when people make blind statements about USA NUMBUH ONE or how much [x country they heard about on Fox News one time] sucks, and are COMPLETELY unwilling to educate themselves on it when it comes up. So do you find it funny to troll people in real life? That's not gonna win you many friends. Just let [cabbage] go. People are gonna be stupid if they want to be, ignorance is bliss. Just don't come onto a online forum and tell everyone how much smarter you are than they are. I'm not saying I'm smarter than everyone else. I'm saying that these people are not a problem when you just smile when they do something stupid, but when they're the majority in a particular area (that area in this case being my school), it gets VERY annoying. Especially when you consider these are the people that make all the stereotypes seem true. Yes, I enjoy trolling in real life. I have my group of friends, and I'm sticking with them. They enjoy it too, and combined efforts can come up with some amazing things. Again, I have no problem with people not knowing about a particular subject, I don't claim to be an all-knowing superbeing (except in random stupid trivia). What I DO have a problem with, is people being unwilling to LEARN when presented with the opportunity. The fact that you "troll" people in real life just screams that you spend to much time on the internet. For God's sake just say you're screwing with them, not trolling. You're gonna have a very hard time in life if you can't deal with stupid people.

Minecraft General
I need a decently large amount of black-coloured blocks. Is there any way to get them other than obsidian and black wool?

Hidden Gems
Alright I'll grab them when I have $20 of spare cash. I can't wait for Frictionals next game, there was just something really really captivating about Amnesia. Even towards the end when the horror dropped off a tad the story, atmosphere and disturbing elements picked it up again.

Hidden Gems
I've thought about buying the Penumbra games. How do they stand up against Amnesia story and atmosphere wise?

Hidden Gems
I just finished Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and I absolutely loved it and would put it in my top 5 games. Great atmosphere, scary as hell, great story, and an original concept. And it was only $20 to top it off. It's not that well known of a game, which got to me thinking. What are some hidden gems of games out there that not many people know about?
