  1. Origins __________ At the time of the Norman Conquest of England, modern heraldry had not yet been developed. The knights in the Bayeux Tapestry carry shields, but there appears to have been no system of hereditary coats of arms. The beginnings of modern heraldic structure were in place, but would not become standard until the middle of the twelfth century.[3] By this time, coats of arms were being inherited by the children of armigers (persons entitled to use a coat of arms) across Europe. Between 1135 and 1155, seals show the general adoption of heraldic devices in England, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.[4] In Britain the practice of using marks of cadency arose to distinguish one son from another, and was institutionalized and standardized by John Writhe in the fifteenth century. The tomb of Geoffrey of Anjou is one of the first recorded examples of hereditary armory in Europe. The same shield shown here is found on the tomb effigy of his grandson, William Longespee. In the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance, heraldry became a highly developed discipline, regulated by professional officers of arms. As its use in jousts became obsolete, coats of arms remained popular for visually identifying a person in other waysÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã
  2. Support! I would love to strand that lvl 3 by the hobgoblin place near Mrlzar's Maze.
  3. This is well thought out! Unlike many other posts of mine. This should be sent to Jagex as soon as 800 comes up. maybe .0000000001 secs after that number. Great post m8!
  4. SUPPORT! So many molesters, so little time. Let's put an end to this once and for all! Muahahaha!!!!!
  5. now only if jagex would put this idea into the game. then i would smith a ton of steel plates again That would be cool. What about elemental armor? Besides helms and shields. I'm really getting board of them.
  6. Could the thought of macroers come to mind? All of those macroers cutting willows by Draynor would now get a cape to reward their against-the-rules movement.
  7. Support! Even though I don't train cconstruction, this would be hardcore! It would make those who like the skill feel a it more welcome. \
  8. Thinking about the in game clans topic, i thought that maybe there should be some sort of announcement board somewhere in runescape. Like maybe in varrok, near the palace would be a bullletin board. If you were in an in-game clan you could read your clan's announcements! More convinience then the clan leader havin to send a mssage/e-mail to every clan member.
  9. yes but dont u think it would be easier if jagex has a sencor ON?? They dont have to do more work and it is fun for us!! It's censor not sencor. I support. I would like to be able to read my friend's stories. :D How about some quest requirement? Like you can only get the blank book in the champ guild. This way newbies can't make useless and/or annoying books.
  10. Many thanks. I sell em' for 1k each and let people buy em' in bulks for 5% off.
  11. Honestly I want to see the dragon dagger as an f2p drop from like some super-frakin bigass monster. Maybe untradeable because it would hav a modification. This i so the price wont go down.
  12. Is it bad to get an anti-dragon shield, drop it, then get more. I did this for 10 min and I have 50 now, I was curious. If it is bad then I will give em out for free to new players. I don't want to break the rules.
  13. That explains why it is a bad idea. White Knights armor is obtained by the Wanted quest. If it became a drop then mages would own the good stuff. Mage > Knight. And we allready get this (goblin armor, Barrows). But even so it is creative. I would only consider guards to drop their armor. Maybe Blk Knights too, since their armor is kinda light to be black.
  14. A few more additons: Battlements could be destroyed, then respawn 5 min l8er. The corners of walls could be chipped off. The arrows would do 5% less damage, and 20% less accuracy.
  15. Weaknesses: Training agility would improve how you do it. If your agility lvl is 1, then you will miss many shots. It cant be done with long bows, they are too big for the space provided. Mage Improvement: Mages can make an invincible shield for about .5sec every 30sec. This way if they are in a tight spot they can block that guy with the Whip. Melee Improvement: Maces would be chained so you can sling them about 2 squares away. Sorta like a numbchuck. ----- I actually thought out this idea BTW. lol
  16. I would like to be able to set songs for certain areas. Here's an example of my playlist: Wilderness: Reclaimer (Halo 2 Vol. 2) Falador: Oh! Gravity! (Oh Gravity!, switchfoot) Varrok: American Idiot (Greenday) Taverly: Epilouge (Halo 2 Vol. 2) etc.,...
  17. Well I was disapointed by the player owned houses. I was thinking it would be a new area in runecape, like a neighborhood. But sadly it was "enter portal". I would only support if it were going to be p2p and anyone could see your house. But not enter it. Only friends could go in, and they would get a password from you. Sorta like a pin.
  18. Agan this would be a good idea. Though not considered a quest. Instead it will be a never ending storyline. It would be cool if Jagex introduced players to the fifth age. By starting an all-out war in the Wilderness between Zamorak & Saradomin. Guthix doesn't like war.
  19. Okay, today I was ranging at monsters when I felt dumb about standing beside a wall in clear light. Then I thought, "Hmm...I wish I could pull a Sam Fisher right about now." So I came here to ask players what about combining Ranging and agility to make it so that basically, you hide behind a wall and lean around to shoot. In Castle Wars you would crouch behind the battlement and fire between the "lumps" in the wall. Anyone think this would be a good idea? ----- Weaknesses: Training agility would improve how you do it. 20. Well it would help for me. Everytime I go out into the wildy I never bring anything but an oak long and about 200 arrows. If this spell came in I could transport my mage gear.
  21. I took your advice and came so close. I haven't done the maze part (to my surprise). The demon was full red bar (that glitch) and It hit one last 7 on me. I didn't have silverlight in my bank. If I did I would be hittin' more 8s. Here's my stats again. (updated) Attack: 37 Defence: 46 Strength: 31 Hitpoints: 40
  22. Here are my stats: Attack: 37 Defence: 45 Strength: 29 Hitpoints: 40 -----~Weapons & Armor~ Armor: Iron pl8, steel legs, stell full helm Weapon: Addy long Shield: Ant-dragon (duh) ----- Can I do it?
