  1. The markets seem proper for me to train herblore at this current moment, so I will be using what funds I currently have to get started. I have about half the money I need for 99 but since the markets are good I'll start buying cheap to see if I can get the costs down even lower. So along with my current skills you will see some herblore levels pop up on here hopefully soon : happy holidays \ :)
  2. Allmonkey, you are a life saver Thanks to this man, I now have almost all of my earnings back! I'm only out about 3.4m which is no big deal considering how much I could have lost from this. Thank you so much, I could have been waiting months for them to sell on the grand exchange.
  3. Am I the only one here who is just slightly curious on how those guys did the "debug" thing?..
  4. festivus? is that like a festival for viruses? lol Never seen Seinfeld? A Festivus for the Rest of Us. I have not lol
  5. no, if I got banned you'd not see me in RS again.
  6. well I personally have about 35m in total, most of which is in magic cape racks -.- . If you just want to include cash It's about 2.5m in cash. My total bank value is probably around 45m right now. I have no expensive items, all the money I make goes into skilling. Once I'm done with herblore that will change however.
  7. thanks : I'll be back on hopefully tomorrow. Stupid modem needs to hurry up and get here. I've got my two important exams tomorrow though -.-
  8. omg don't get olly LOL. I'll be back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Whenever our new Internet box comes in
  9. the odds of getting one are slim though. And the odds are even slimmer if i use coinshare. Thats not a feasible method and neither is soloing anymore. I know that people buy certain items with junk. Is there something i can use some $ and some junk in order to buy and then resell it for pure $?
  10. w00t I cracked the 1.40 pdanet so i can use the full version yay. Only problem is it heats up my phone because it uses alot of battery power so i have to keep it cooled and hooked up. But it works just as fast, if not faster then our modem service. Unfortunaly still have not sold anymore cape racks. Is there any way I can sell them using junk or buy something useful using junk and then turn around and sell this new item for cash? could i do this with third age armor? even if I use like 5-10m I dont really care just as long as I can make a significant amount of my lost money back. I'd rather have 25-30m then nothing.
  11. hey guys, My modem died today. We are getting a new one sent to us but it won't get here until tuesday or wednesday. Currenly I'm online using my Iphone tethered with pdanet but if I can't figure out how to downgrade from 1.40 to 1.33 I won't be able to get on rs (1.40 makes you pay for the full service were as 1.33 doesnt -.- ). I'll be back on in a few days if not.
  12. I don't really care about the flatpacks, They will eventually sell and it will be done with. I agree it was my mistake. What I don't agree with is the way they nerfed this like they did. If they are going to nerf something, that was stated in the rewards, either: A.) They need to announce it beforehand B.) make the nerf not so heavy. I've already explained route A. However if they take route B they need to give us a much higher precentage. I mean comon, 10%?? as someone else stated its probably better just alching them or selling the materials (if you bought magic stones) back to the store clerks. They should give something like 80% of the minimum ge price or even 100% of the minimum ge price. All of the ge prices for flatpacks are far under what the item is worth so you would still lose money but getter a better investment into using the flatpacks at miscellania. Obviously jagex see's that there is an excess of flatpacks in the game that are not selling and that is why they released this update. However now they they "supernerfed" it, nothing will change unless they make changes to the nerf. Actually, when I found this thread I came on the general forums to post about it. However this post was here. It wasn't until about a page and a half in (time wise) that it was nerfed and you can look back on early posts to see that. I bought the flatpacks because the method was there and I thought I could profit from it. I put my money into the GE and was very surprised that any of the cape racks sold to me at all. I assumed they would have all been bought up. You're trying to make me out to sound like a greedy bad guy. I've been a good member of the runescape community for years and would never bug abuse to gain an edge. I simply had a little more wit and a much larger bank then most people and used that to my advantage. Theirs nothing wrong with that, Merchants in runescape do that every day and have been since the game started and you here nobody complaining about them. If Jagex puts a feature in and it works exactly like it was programed, its not a bug, its a miscalculation on their end and needs Jagex owes it to their customers to soften the blow.
  13. HUGE thanks to Flamer Foe for buying 1 cape rack from me at mid price . GO FALMER!!!!! \ \ \ \
  14. that doesn't state the matter of an annoucement. It should have been announced and we should have been given a time frame to which we could sell our current flat packs. Thats fine if jagex wants to call it "bug abuse", however, all people were doing is utilizing something they knowingly placed in the game. I dont care if they miscalculated it. They needed to offer some leeway time to say "ok, this is what we are going to do, you have this amount of time to sell your items before it takes effect". Thats just good customer service. I was seriously considering quitting again this morning over this, but then reolized I'll eventually be able to sell them all, it just might take a couple of months. You're admitting that you knew it was bug abuse, and you expected Jagex to give a nice, big announcement to all the abusers so they could rush to get their cash quickly. I'm happy Jagex did what they did. People need to stop taking advantage of Jagex's leniency. Stop acting like a victim when you, and most others, clearly knew what you were doing. What are you talking about?? I never said it was bug abuse because its not bug abuse, it was meant to be in the game exactly like it was! I put it in quotes for a reason. They can call it whatever the hell they want to call it but they still should allow leeway time for people using it since it WAS a legitimate feature they put into the game. All of you can laugh now but when it happens to you one day you wont be laughing. Plenty of legitimate players got screwed over by this that should NOT have been screwed over by this. Including myself.
  15. I've done all the quests so I can do the maximum wealth exchange rate, so I'll do the minimum payment that is possible. isnt it like 50k wealth transfer? so its about 900k for one.
