wowzorz, the first quest in almost 3 years has been released that I don't have the requirements to do :shock: . I'll see what the reward is to see if its worth grinding through about 15-20 quests.

runecrafting is about 800k profit per hour minus the costs of items used in it.With merchanting along with it theirs no telling how much you can make. It all depends on how good you are at merchanting

if he has a bank pin the hacker can't access any of the items. So the account is pretty useless to him at that point for up to a week, which is not as long as it will take for the pending request to successfully go through. If he answered the questions right it should be fine.

[cabbage] man, if its pending you'll probably get it back, I tried to do my recoveries also because I haven't in a long time, it use to be that you got it instantly but apparently you don't anymore. Did you bank all of your things before you logged out? do you have a bank pin? if so the worst he can do until Jagex gives you the "ok" is mess around with your guy. Chances are you will get it back I feel for you, I really do. I felt aweful about it. But at the same time...WHAT ON EARTH COMPELLED YOU TO GO TO A SITE OTHER THAN RUNESCAPE.COM AND ENTER YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD INTO A SITE?!??!!?!? I'm only saying it because I care. Don't make the same mistake again especially if you do get your account back (which you most likely will).

So I turned on my PC today and attempted to use mousekeys and now whenever I press "5" instead of doing a right click it does a left click? I changed no settings since I got off my PC last night and can't seem to get it to switch back to left click for "5". Any idea what I did? EDIT: rebooted and it changed back....wierd I'm sure their is a variation of it on every OS.

wow the ctrl+2+5 combo also works with herblore. You can click "withdraw 14" really fast and accurately every time as well as click the "make all" with it and bank with it.

that makes very good sense, what if you change the key on the keyboard but only set it to 1 key rather then an operation? like if you changed the "1" key on the rightside of your keyboard to perform the "ctrl" function. Everyone can access that through control panel so is that legit or not? If you actually read the first post you would know that the ctrl+2+5 combination, when right clicked on you're essence pile in the bank will emidiatly move and click on the "withdraw 1500" or whatever number its set to. it 100% garuntees that you wont misclick on a different function like "withdraw x" and makes banking faster and easier. ctrl enables the mouse keys to jump a certain distance called "speed" in the settings I believe 2 makes it go down an inch or so when speed is all the way up 5 will do the left mouse click function.

alright but does the jump that is made while holding ctrl down make a difference in the legality of it (since thats what I would use in rc banking). nobody has really summed that up for me

Bet if you ask another 10 Mods they all wont say that it's legal. [/hide] I'm guessing as it was in the maxed out forum, they actually did their research before answering for once, i doubt they want their highest players banned for using them : maxed out forum? I thought that was just a silly rumor...

awesome : however even with mods its hard to tell... if that were the case them mousekeys would also be against the rules, not everybody knows how to use them but they do come standard on all PC's running windows. As well as if you go into your keyboard preferences you can change the function of keys on the keyboard. Thats standard on all PC's as well but not everybody knows how to do them.

I'm sorry but I dont see a change from your post and the one I quoted If you manually set where the hotkeys move the cursor then it's against the rules as you're not physically moving the mouse every time, it's simply "jumping" to an x-y position. Some guy I remember posting on the RSOF suffered from serious arthritis and wasn't allowed to type as it would make it worse, thus had to use "speech typing software" that automatically typed for him and Jagex issued him with a warning, that's how harsh they are with the rules. They really don't :-# well the mousekeys do appear to make the mouse jump from location to location but it could just be moving quickly. Do you know for sure? could you try them out and tell me? they come standard on any windows computer I believe (dont know about macs). I know of many people that use mousekeys now that I ask about them lol. The jump the key makes when you hold ctrl and hit 4,2,6, or 8 seems to be a predetermined distance. I have no idea how to modify that disstance but it jumps a nch or so each time you do it

I guess I don't fully understand how the keys work. is the Ctrl+2+5 combination legal? the only thing I clicked was the enable the mousekeys to work to test out this combination with runecrafting. I have yet to figure out how they work exactly : Fair enough, but is it ok to change the location of keys on the keyboard to make them easier to reach?

This is a discussion (or debate rather) on whether or not mousekeys are legal to use in the runescape world. I have recently stumbled upon mousekeys. I'm sure plenty of common pc users have used/seen/heard of them. The demonstration I saw used the combination Ctrl+2+5. Pushed in that order at a rapid pace allows you to withdraw you're essence quickly and move you're mouse to you're graahk (or run location), saving a good 2 seconds and guaranteeing that you click the "withdraw all" everytime. Many times I'll misclick on the "x" or "10" option and have to spend several more seconds on it. However, I realized that the possibilities for mousekeys can be very promising. I have not studied into mousekeys but I'll bet their is a combination you could use that if pressed rapidly, could drop an entire inventory of items in half the time it would take you to use a mouse! (inventory of granite,logs, etc.). Now for my question. Would this be considered macroing or against any of the rules or regulations of runescape? I've reviewed the rules in the "3rd party software" and a few other sections and find nothing that says items used on the keyboard rather than a mouse are against the rules. It only refers to third party software, which this of course is not, its merely something done on a keyboard. It's still me playing, just using a different utility to play it with. Also, for some of the more hardcore gamers out there, I know there are keyboards that have programmable keys, or keys that are used in whatever function you place on them. This function can be a combination of keys or a single key. Would it be considered macroing to place this Ctrl+2+5 combination or any other of the sort onto a single key. Meaning I would move and withdraw the item with 1 button press rather than 3! My personal view is that it is legitimate and I cannot find any reason to support that it is against the rules. I'd like to see what everybody has to offer. Maybe their is a definite answer?

thanks for the mousekeys tip, its the only thing different from the guide I was doing (other than using glories as my primarily teleporter, I have up around 80 of them as well as geyser titans to recharge them). It works especially well with my G11 keyboard as it has programmable G keys on the left side. I assigned ctrl/2/5 as my bottom 3 keys so I just tap them all at the same time and it withdraws essence without fail \ :

w00t!!!!!!!!!!111111111

actually that was taken at the hardrock hotel at universal studios in florida lol. but thats not where I live.

you don't seem to take into account the time it takes to play the minigame and get those tablets, which in that time is about the same speed as just running you're own essence lol (if you're doing nature runes)
