  1. Personally I don't have a huge problem with luring. Because if someone is that stupid, and has something of that much value on them, then they had it coming. Might as well have someone benefit from there loss then from them to lose it to a monster and just have their items disappear. If you had asked me about luring a long time ago I would have said "there's no way anybody would fall for that" but apparently people do :? . I personally would never do it because I agree that it is immoral. I play this game with a sense of honor for those around me and to benefit the good that remains in the game. But some RS'ers just need to get a clue. You contradicted yourself there. Scaming IS lieing. They are pretty much the same thing. There are different forms of scamming but that all come down to lieing and deception which is exactly what lurers do. However, people DO have the second trade screen, and they DO have the wilderness warnings yet people are still dumb enough to fall for it. How gullible can a person get :-s .
  2. its abyssal space fairy ring. I can't understand why anybody over 116 combat would ever use the tower again. This spot is like less than 1 minute from a bank...
  3. farming is just expensive, it's not hard at all. It's slow but you can't really train it alone. Spend 30-45 minutes planting trees in the morning, replant them in the evening, spend the rest of the day out doing other things or train another skill. Coming up with the money is the hard part :-# .With 91+ Rc it's not hard then right  You could Thieve, Fletch & high alch bows, Craft hides.. Gl with 99 Slayer now :Djust because I have 91 rcing doesn't make it easy. The only people who can get that kind of money easy is very good stakers. It still takes 100-150 hours of RCING to get the amount of money I would need. So no, its not easy. Sound's wouldn't really help me. I am usually watching a movie while doing it so I'm not paying 100% attention.

  5. What quests do I need for that? I've forgotten, and need to add them to my list; I'm sure I don't have them on the list. And I'm partly responsible for the huge amount of page views; I've literally looked at this blog 50 times a day since it started. Haunted mine for the salve ammy itself. To enchant it you use Tarn Razorlor's book on it from his study (you have to do the mini-game and kill him then take his book and use it on the ammy). I recommend getting multiple salves as well because I died with my first one a long time ago and had to go through it all again. To get another just drop the first one and get another, then pick up the one you dropped. I got got 22 Salve Amulet (e) this way even though you're only suppose to be able to get one  . Seems to be the same trick I used to get extra holy wrenches; still haven't found a use for them, but that's beside the point. I'll have to do the Haunted Mine quest; heard the final battle is at least a bit difficult, which sounds promising to me (I was disappointed by Monkey Madness; only took 7 rune arrows and 24 prayer points), so I'm going to have to do it. As an aside, do you ever get pked while crafting runes? I did earlier today, which has driven me crazy since it's taking me forever to get them back. I can't be alone in this frustration. In fact I have. At 126 combat I died 3 times in one day. I believe it was a clan event. Me and my friend were scouting worlds because I had died twice and there were 1-3 level 120+ in every world that we checked. I gave up and went to get 66 hunter after the 3rd death and came back the next day to find them all gone. I usually run the side route around the tree so that a skeleton attacks me when I first enter a world. Helps to avoid pkers when I'm scouting ahead. Once I know there are none I continue in that world as I normally would. I usually die to abyss pkers however because I get nervous and forget to do everything. I panic, don't drop my pouches, don't really do anything accept click widly and curse #-o . That's why I had so much trouble with Tztok-jad I couldn't kill him until I got 126 cb and 99 range I would be a disaster of a pker :boohoo:
  6. And they do those things. They give updates to people in the 90's. Look at ancient magics for instance. A level 85 tree would be something pretty big, it would mean a new type of log which would highly effect the fming and fletching markets. This is one of those updates that I refer to as "a few times a year". I don't see how I missed the point at all. If Jagex made lots of updates in the 90's very rapidly we'd run out of expansion all together. Good updates come, just not as often as alot of people seem to want .
  7. Thankful for what? Only a few hundred people will even use this update, for the rest of us all Jagex did was implement more lag. For the past 4 years all I've seen them do is implement lag actually...There were maybe, 15? Good updates I can remember. Jagex are unbelievably stupid to make an update like this instead of Blood or Soul Crafting. If the April Behind the Scenes sucks, I will most definately quit. I've been hoping for way too long for them to add high leveled equipment, and was almost positive they would have done it when 2007 started...Apparently not. I might not be as high level as you or as far along exp wise, but I still find new ways of entertaining myself. I understand many players want Jagex to make more higher level updates, myself wouldn't mind something more challenging to bite my teeth into. However, until they do I think it is demoralising to keep our minds on it. If we concentrate on something else, then we might get a pleasant surprise when Jagex releases an update worthy of the more experienced players. If the game was free, I might agree. However, seeing as I PAY for jagex to introduce new USEFULL updates, I won't sit back and say "omg thanks jagex for doing something!" when that something is a load of garbage. This is one reason why many high level players(high total OR combat) quit-they get high skills but nothing to do with them. Instead, what does jagex do? rake in cash from autoers and gps farmers, tease us with hints at good updates then give garbage, and ignore high level/long time players. Honestly, no it does not. To get that exp without the quest would take 15-30 min of abyss crafting. Just fills the game with yet another forgotten area.Sorry but if you need updates to keep you playing then you might as well quit, this game doesn't revolve around new updates. If Jagex released some outstanding update every week or even every month the markets would be going crazy with new items coming in, one week a new armor would come out that is totally sweet and the next a new one would come out causing the previous one to crash. I think the game is evolving at a steady rate and I like it. jagex seems to release a couple of awesome, game altering updates every year and thats a good pace to do it at. I get really sick of logging onto these forums everytime an update comes out to read spammy messages of people saying "0mg JAgex!!111 Y0U reLeased an0the3r n00b upd0t3!!!!11" it's not like every week (or even every month) you're going to get something outstanding. Enjoy what the game has to offer NOW instead of waiting on the FUTURE.Yes but don't you see? Before jagex had awsome updates, our world (or at least mine) doesn't revolve around them, it just seems that they're focusing on lower levels and not higher. Lets see let's go through this month and february. The great brain robbery - Kind of low level but good reward until they tweaked it 3 times Burgh de rott ramble - Very stupid and low level update. Cave goblin - For all levels but useless Today - You're kidding right? February Fremennik isles Ok a high level update A squirk a day. All levels Shadow sword Low level Tower of life Low Now lets look at past years at good updates RFD Desert treasure Pest control (flame me don't care) TzHaar Legends There's my point. the good updates you said were very few, and they were spread over many years. Not every update Jagex makes is bad yet people complain about every bad update that comes along. I don't understand why people can't enjoy the game as it is now? jagex has not forgotten it and has shown us that with things like you stated. Some of those are not that old. They have also released 99 capes. If you read my other post you'll see my philosophy on what bad can come from too many good updates.
  8. however most MMO's I've played don't take that long to get high level in. You can pretty much master an WOW character in a couple of months if you play alot (from what my friends say and info I've collected) however you can't say that about runescape. People need to reolize that if Jagex put out some insane update every week or month it would probably destroy the game. Let's say jagex one month releases some armor that is stronger then barrows. Everyone is all in a frenzy, paying high prices for the item and everyone is there trying to devise ways of getting the armor from whenever it is located. The next month roles around..What is this?! a new armor that is a few points in defence higher?!?! The market for the previous item crashes and this item is high in price, everyone moves to it. This repeats for the next couple of months until there are tons of different types of armors on the market. The prices get all out of whack from this and cause the armor economy to collapse. This sort of idea could be placed into almost any skill. My point being, if jagex makes great "n0n3 n00b" updates every month, were going to run out of room for expansion very quickly, Jagex is going to run out of ideas and space to fit things in (not terrain but level requirements etc) and the game will die. This is my philosophy on the matter.

  11. That won't work; I've tried to drag it out of him, but I don't think he's telling anyone, and to be honest, I'm not sure he knows exactly what he's going to do, but he's the only one who can tell us that for sure. Keep up the good work, Wakka. It'll take a while to 99 slayer, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Btw, are you keeping a slayer log? It'll be interesting to see all the tasks you've gotten since you started. I know, I find weird things interesting. You hit it on the head  . I've got some idea's in mind. I'm not keeping a log, too lazy, but about half of it would be aberrant spectars  . I wouldn't mind that assignment, really; I'm running low on herb seeds/herbs, and they're a monster I've never killed before, and I want to try. I'm keeping a log, have been since 60 slayer, and hope to continue it to 99 (after hell freezes over, most likely). Givemesomesupport-IstartedablogIhopewilllastthistimemessage> make sure you use an enchanted salve ammy, it makes things ALOT faster. I agree, I've never seen another post with this many :XD: . Berzerker ring.

  13. Some random guy on RSOF rants. Funny points, and perfect display of the IQ of the average runescapian... Not to mention everyone who posted agreed with him, you're scared now huh? Well some of his points are valid and I agree with, but the majority are pretty stupid. Str xp for chopping logs? a new rare? those are just silly. However, I agree that the randoms are growing increasingly in numbers and they don't really fight off autoers unfortunatly...
  14. I absolutely love the 3rd age melee stuff. It reminds me of the Gondor worrier suit fro Lodr. I will definitly buy a plate and legs when I get all 99's (not before then  ).
  15. TIF is the only reason I am famous, without this place I probably wouldn't be playing anymore.
  16. I got a spectar assignment, changed the next, then got another . Oh well, more herb seeds for me :) (i've got a TON of them).
  17. Easy for you to say *_* \ Grats though! You only get 10-20 dark beasts per assignment.
  18. this is 1 of 3 that I've posted pictures on. (excluding myspace/facebook).
