  1. I think they need to keep it this way, its awesome :D
  2. None of those fall under DK luring. probably being knit-picky, but this is just some...but i do believe monster luring would be one of these. Best way to go about it i'd imagine is to make posts on the official forums, to get some attention to it and have it adressed. You can't outlaw DK luring though, it just wouldn't work. If a team happen to accidently run in on you you could report them for DK luring and they might just get banned. Since most of hte Jagex staff I'm sure doesn't go DKing (Especially the customer support team) they aren't going to know the difference between a legit team, a lurer, or something else. It just isnt going to work and it's not against the rules currently anyway.
  3. I can't understand how anybody believes that it is against the rules. The mod is wrong because it isn't. The type of lure that IS against the rules is the lure where it involves lying to others. You tell someone to meet you somewhere and then you get them killed, that kind of deception is against the rules. The lure where someone just happens to be sitting on the edge of the wild and you drop some money and they run after it is not against the rules, as no real deception is involved with it. People do it out of their own free will and nobody is lying to anybody. The same goes here with DK "lures". No deception is involved with it, someone just runs in and makes the monsters come after you. I don't trust anything that the mods say anymore unless it comes from Andrew or Paul. Every query gets a different response. Andrew himself said on the official forums (I forgot where) that you should ask youreself "am I lying to people to get there items?" if so then its against the rules, if not, then its fair game. Since no lying is involved here I can't say that I believe its against the rules unless it specifically states that in Rule 2. I don't support DK luring as i think tis pretty low to do so, but I'm pointing out the fact that it's not against the rules. None of those fall under DK luring.
  4. I know the cheat code for unlimited HP but I'm not telling
  5. HAHAHA I've finally hit the big leagues! I have people copying my name, hurray for groupies! of course it could just be a coincidence but thats just too close to be a coincidence...
  6. glad to see this topic hit off nicely. I read all the posts. Godofjoy, you wrote a novel on the game
  7. Good Morning! I won't be on Monday from about 11 until Wednesday at about 2. Going to a friends house. Not sure how much I'll get done today, gotta help my dad with some stuff.
  8. I was feeling creative Whats trite mean? Cliche, overused, predictable etc. Nothing on these boards ever seems to perk youre interest mate :XD:
  9. :wall:  :wall:
  10. I was feeling creative Whats trite mean?
  11. Was the only part that really seemed like "real life" to me. (that fits well I the game(falling off a ladder (WT :-$ ))) Ladders are dangerous, I've heard of plenty of people getting seriously injured or dieing on ladders (especially construction workers) in the game of Real Life.
  12. Runescape has Frog Cannons, what more can I say? It p0wns any technology in Real Life  .
  13. well sure, YOU can see that they are luring but can Jagex mod's see that through a one minute long report? Plus, the rule was made because people were lying to get other's items. to my knowledge, DK lurer's don't tell you any lies, they just get in you're face  I'm not for DK luring so don't think I'm trying to support it. I'm just saying that I don't think tis against the rules.
  14. depends on the type of character you pick. I could go on but I dont wanna make any racial jokes
  15. If there wasnt no Runescape there wouldnt be no Real World #-o
  16. Joke? who is joking? :anxious:
  17. http://www.openyourdoorandwalkthroughit.com  that made me lol a bit
  18. I'm not so sure this is good thing. It's almost impossible to tell a lure from a team that accidentley walks in on you. Does this mean that every time you enter the kings lair you are at risk for being reported for Luring?? I only have a problem with luring because of the lies that are involved. There aren't any lies that are involved in this so it's not exactly scamming nor a lure... Mod's are often wrong too, he most likely misinterpreted you're question.
  19. So I was sitting here, surfing my computer, I stumble across this game called "Real Life". Apparently, its pretty popular. Tons of people play it and it has graphics that are incomparable to anything else out there. There are many different cities and towns but frankly I think the game play falls a little flat when compared to Runescape. There aren't all that many monsters. The monsters that are available are usually highly overpowered by you're avatar. "Congratulations! You Just Killed A Level 5 Deer!" Some of the monsters are forbidden to kill because they don't respawn very quickly. Such as level 3 Pandas and Humpback Whales. Also, some of the monsters get so old that they become extinct. Unfortunately, most of these monsters were the higher level monsters such as the dinosaurs. I mean comon, why would the game creators take out the high level monsters? At least Jagex didn't do that, they left us with the Daggannoth Kings and Kalphite Queen. There aren't many places to PK in Real Life. If you try to PK in most of the landmasses, the Police will come after you. The police are much higher level then most players and have much better weapons. An interesting aspect of the game are the admins that run the game. They are often split into groups and can sometimes argue with each other. They even have the ability to cause war and make laws that effect the whole landmass they look over! Jagex only has limited power's when compared to the Admins in Real Life. Lucky for the players of Real Life, the customer support is better... Another issue with Real Life is how easy it is to die! and to make it worse, you don't respawn! Whats up with that?!? You can spend anywhere from 1 to 100 years on you're character and they can die easily from disease, PKing, car accidents, falling off a ladder???, tripping on the sidewalk?...And when you die, there's no opportunity to revive yourself. Jagex was smart enough to allow us to respawn in Lumbridge. One of the good aspects of Real Life is that there are plenty of Rares! There is a section of the game called the Stock Market where if you play you're cards right, you can make a lot more money from just having money! The only downside to it is that some stocks can go down permanently which doesn't happen with Runescape rares. Another good aspect of Real Life that is better than Runescape are the number of skills! I don't think that Jagex could ever compete with it! They have thousands of skills but some of them take very long to train. I mean to get 99 in anything you have to spend about 20 years of you're life going to school and college in order to get it, while on Runescape you can get to 99 in some of the easier skills in less than a month! while the harder ones in just a few months! that isn't much when you compare it to Real Life. I hope you enjoyed my comparison of the games Runescape and Real Life. As you can see, Runescape far out weights the gameplay of Real Life. Now I ask you... Post you're comparisons of the two games on any aspects of them I might have missed. There are plenty of comparisons I'm sure that I missed. Be creative :P .
  20. haha, nope, and thats not the first other wakka I've seen. There was a wakka who got a question answered in postie pete a while back
  21. Not really, this skill isnt one I dreaded to train. It's my favorite skill so this is pure pleasure to me.
  22. sorry, I wouldn't have stolen it if I had read your post
  23. I like rs, I have no intention of quitting. I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting with this post as it is very poorly written. My interpretation of is "if someone likes something why don't they want to always do it"? to answer that its because they probably like other things as well. RS isnt all they enjoy in life. Sometimes, they get very bored and thats the end of it. They move on to something else, as much as we would like it to, nothing lasts forever.
