Greencheeese
If you like something you want to do it forver right? Why don't people feel this way about runescape that they want to play it for a short time everyday forever and would be sad if it ended? Just wondering, Stu. Giordano
If you like something you want to do it forver right? Why don't people feel this way about runescape that they want to play it for a short time everyday forever and would be sad if it ended? Just wondering, Stu. There are different levels of liking something. These levels are different to everybody when aimed at RuneScape. Some people like it a way that they play once in a while, others like it that they play every day. Other than that I dont understand what you're trying to say. rise
Well, I think that everyone gets bored of rs after a while or something terrible happens to them that makes them quit. I would know from experience and today was most likely my last day on rs.(not because of the rule 2 rule change if people are wondering lol) I dont have a sig anymore =[But I did manage to get every skill in the highscores
-Devoted12-
^^^ We all know it was because of the rule change, no problem with being ashamed. :XD: No, i'm just kidding. In this game, you have to have a balance. Picture it like this, you go to school and you totally love school. It's a fun thing for you to do. (this is not me... I can't stand it ~LOL~) Once you learn everything that they can teach you, would you still go? Most people wouldn't. Base this on the game. For instance, some people quit because they get bored of the game. The game has nothing more to offer them, so why should they keep playing? It goes along with my example. Now there are other reasons people quit. They get hacked for instance. Picture this one like this... Say you are in real life, something you had to really work hard to get to the position you are at. Say you are a top executive at an office. Now say all of a sudden all that was taken away from you for no reason at all. You were dirt poor and had no job. You couldn't even feed yourself. Would you want to go back and spend countless years trying to get your job back? Trying to get back to the position you once had? When most people get fired, they give up on that job and move on. This is like the game. They've worked soo hard on something and then it's just gone. Not many people would like to work hard to get back to the position you were already at... something you had already earned. I hope this summed it up for you. Sort of long. :-k
wakka102
I like rs, I have no intention of quitting. I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting with this post as it is very poorly written. My interpretation of is "if someone likes something why don't they want to always do it"? to answer that its because they probably like other things as well. RS isnt all they enjoy in life. Sometimes, they get very bored and thats the end of it. They move on to something else, as much as we would like it to, nothing lasts forever. Don't worry, the novelty of running into scammers everywhere you go, clicking pointlessly, and having to deal with an army of idiots and scumbags every day will wear off eventually. In my opinion is that Jagex should quit on RS2, let it die out such as RSC did and totally rebuild the game from the ground up. new villavges, items, npcs, everything, just totally re-do it THey can't keep giving us cheesy updates forever. Like a fad, it will die out eventrually, people will lose interest and walk away. I cant figure out why I havent done that yet.. Aneron
I've often wondered about this. I probably won't ever quit RS, just take breaks every now and then. The declining RS community doesn't really bother me as I just have a few close friends that I play with - if I see a scammer I report him, or a scumbag... I... ignore him? I have put a lot of time into RS, as many other people doubtlessly have. When I am in a runescapey mood I will go on and do some skilling, and when I am bored I go and do something fun. The question is, will RS last forever? I don't see why not. Although it's true that the community is getting worse, it's still paying up. Even if this ever changes, I'm fairly sure Jagex could at least break even keeping the game open, like with classic. RS requires that you put a lot of time into it, and I don't see why I should throw it away just because of a bunch of 10 year olds.

If Jagex let RS2 die, they would die from stavation cos they couldnt afford the food. THey would not let 99% of their customers be lost and 1% to move to the new game. Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me...

And many people do want to play runescape for ever. If I could play rs anytime I wanted, and have no time pass (that would be the same as playing forever) I would.
