Actually i would have rather have done that. If I'm going to lose a 700$ guitar I might as well get some cheers or laughs from it :P . :mrgreen: And I guess it's all in how you think about it... he was really embarrassed. it really depends on the kind of music you're playing. It would probably just pump people up even more and get some cheers in Metal.

my guitar is all better now, the rod inside it moved a bit so I got it tightened and its good as new. That picture made me laugh so hard that I choked on a pretzel :lol:

ok, so i took it to the shop and the guy looks at it and says its fine. So i adjusted the bridge a little and he adjusted the rod a bit and it works fine now. Only came off with a some slightly chipped paint in unnoticeable spots. I'm happy now :D Actually i would have rather have done that. If I'm going to lose a 700$ guitar I might as well get some cheers or laughs from it :P .

I haven't been to the ditch yet but if it really is that annoying, maybe it will put off a lot of rc'ers. This means rune prices go up and more money for me :D

:boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :cry: :cry: i agree...I don't expect the repairs to be any cheaper than 200$, if its even repairable. In which case I lost 700$ due to a stupid period of misjudgement.

That had to have been the scariest experience of my life so far. The moral: never do a guitar spin. I was doing them, because I'd learned how, and my straplock came loose, sending my 700$ Jackson guitar into the wall. I have a small dent in the wall (its in the little kids playroom so its not a huge deal nor is it noticeable) but the nut of my guitar came completely off as well as part of the underside of my fretboard cracked away from the body. I have no idea how much repairs will cost me but it wont be pretty. I'm so glad it didnt sever the guitar in two, I would have cried. It's a very sad day today...

So I'm playing guitar. I mastered the guitar spin a couple of days ago and was fooling around with it. I have strap locks so I thought no need to worry. I do a couple of spins, no problem. Then I do one and somehow my straplock pops off, sending my 700$ Jackson into the wall. I have a dent in the wall and a crack at the top of my fretboard. Hopefully the repair costs won't be too much. The nut came completely loose to where I was able to remove it. I tried to reattach it with modeling glue but that didn't work. The fretboard just before the nut cracked on the bottom so it is slightly raised, causing 2 of my strings to rattle on metal parts when you strum it. I have no idea how much it will cost me to repair it but i sure learned my lesson about guitar spins. I feel like such a [wagon] right now, can anybody give me some info on how much you think repairs for that would cost? NEVER DO GUITAR SPINS!!!

Whats that suppose to mean? lol thanks for the comments guys. Battle of the Bands is coming up at school soon so I gotta practice for that as well as the gym. Game time is very limited but I get on when I can. I'll be on a lot during the summer probably.

Nah, really not. Just mocking a bit, don't take it too serious. :) The bands don't take it seriously either. However, you can't deny that metal has some of the greatest musicianship of any genre out there. Try picking up a guitar and playing Frantic Disembowelment by Cannibal Corpse or Destros Secret by The Dillinger Escape Plan. I've seen interviews with Cannibal Corpse and Slayer and they are very smart guys who don't take their music seriously. They just have a drive to make their music as brutal as possible because its what they like to do. It's all image but a lot of people like it, such as myself.

They didn't have a huge selection on Itunes. I know he has a ton of albums though. Isn't he releasing some kind of box set with several albums? I have the album Kaleidoscalp and have watched a bunch of his live stuff. I love it when he takes out the numb chucks and starts spinning them around during his shows :lol:

I'm sure most of you are anxious for me to get 97 slayer since I'm like 15k? xp away. However, I've got a very busy day today and probably wont be on at all as well as tomarrow. I've got band practice and a ton of homework. Tomarrow I've got 2 tests to study for afterschool. So I might be able to get 97 tomorrow but don't count on it. Most likely Tuesday.
