April 10, 200719 yr Where has this guy been all my life? I played Jordan on guitar hero two and thought, this is pretty cool. So I went and got one of his albums and now I'm completely hooked. I love the way this guy plays with his drone-like, psychotic, electronic style. For those who don't know him look him up. Buckethead isn't for everyone, its a very unique style but its that one style that I've been searching for forever. Whats you're opinions on Buckethead? personally I can't get enough :)

But I dont like it as much as his electronic thrash stuff, that stuff is just nutty, which is exactly how I like my music. The guy is equally as nutty which is why I like him. I love the robotic/evil tone of it. It's like something you'd play in a haunted house or at halloween time. Of course the white mask he wears is also a michael myers mask (the halloween movies).

April 11, 200719 yr i have a bunch of his stuff, listening to it right now actually. i love his album population override, and his colab with Serj, from system of a down.. their song "we are one" the album colma is also amazing, with the song whitewash.

April 14, 200719 yr Ahh buckethead. I saw him one time in Guns n Roses, the new answer to Slash and held a grudge against him ever since. Screw him. Bucket wearing weirdo. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

April 15, 200719 yr Author They didn't have a huge selection on Itunes. I know he has a ton of albums though. Isn't he releasing some kind of box set with several albums? I have the album Kaleidoscalp and have watched a bunch of his live stuff. I love it when he takes out the numb chucks and starts spinning them around during his shows :lol:

April 20, 200719 yr FREAKISH guitarist. His ability is almost second to none these days. I like some of his music too - electric tears and padmasana are pretty cool songs. I must buy one of his albums one of these days. Reccomendations?
April 20, 200719 yr Just checked out some of his videos on YouTube, weird but strangely compelling. Might get an album or two of his. The 13CD Box Set "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
